The cashier was rude this evening . I had a few things and to make her job easier I just told her to throw everything in the storage basket I was buying. And she rudely said “I’m not a supermarket” I just walked away like an adult. I work retail as well and I don’t treat my customers that way. I was just trying to make your job easier and save bags smh !

On Sunday I walked into your store to look for a thermometer and hair color. I found both. The thermometer was included in a pack that you would use for a baby and sense I didn't need all of the other items I figured I would check the price to see if it was worth it. I also went to your hair color section and saw that the color was $5.40. I picked the Jet black and proceeded to the front to check out. I ask the associate that I learned name was Demaris to check the price of the thermometer. After aggressively rubbing the package on the desk she scanned and said $9.00 you want it with the most inpatient appearance and expression that you could imagine. I told her no (sense I only wanted the thermometer) and she handing the package back to me and said "You can go put it back!! Now I had no problem with taking it back at that point although I thought it weird to ask the customer to that and have never seen this being asked if any other customer as long as I have been a shopper. Which is well over 40 yrs. But I was willing to move past that until I saw her ring the hair color and it showed$6.00. I looked back as the hair color section can be seen from the register and said the cost on the display is $5.40. She twisted her brow and stated in an extremely unprofessional manner "Mam!! I am not a manager!! I don't know what you want me to do!.Then she. Began to speak in Spanish to someone who at the time was sitting in the ground and out of view but mentioned that I was complaining over a few cent. I informed her that it was more than a few cent it was .60 cent and the cost on the shelf says$ 5.40. I was direct in my approach since she had shown herself to be disrespectful to the customer and purposely switched to Spanish so that she could say things out loud believing that I would not understand her. The person on the ground originally told her..(later discovered her name to be Mauri)."You can give it to her for that price since it's up there for that.". Demaris goes to her register and says do you want me to give it to you for that price? I stated mam its in the shelf for that price it's only right. That is false advertising! A violation of customer service along with your disrespect towards a customer!" Denaris says"okay you dont want it! I believe she wanted me to beg for something that was clearly a mistake on the store. Also why would the price be different for the black hair color ? The African American hair color products are higher than all of the rest. I could have shipped anywhere but choose Family Dollar because of its location to home. Needless to say I left all of the items at the register even the one she instructed me to put back. I walked away and she sarcastically said "Bye"!.Very unprofessional,and not something I have ever experienced at any of the Dollar Tree or Family dollar brands. Her name is Demaris, Mauri may have been a manger not sure because she was sitting in the floor counting money without any discretion so maybe not. Demaris was most rude and did not display company values or even personal home training on how to respect others. There were other customers who saw how inappropriate she was. Although I am sure I make about 5 times the money she does;I would never treat my clients in such a way. I doubt that I will ever return there and I will be sure to alert all of my social media friends and followers in regards to this treatment. I am in the process of filing an official complaint. I felt discriminated against and completely disrespected.

First off i would like to say this is not about the entire staff here but 2 of the individuals that i had to encounter today april 21,2023. I had went into family dollar and was trying to load money on to my card service, this store is listed as a reload location. The 2 ignorant individuals working one stated that they do not and will not reload because of some one else who was named, yessenia was very rude and facial expressions are not of proper customer service. As tempted to have wanted to make a smart remark but i just said thank you the other young lady did not have her name tag display but was wearing a black hoodie with red clouds on them was another ignorant individual as well as they both seemed to have been bothered with my service request. I have gone here before to load a card with no issues and now seems to have been a problem these 2 individuals would have been terminated if they were my employees. No home training or people skills please do something about this because this is usually there entire demeanor every time i have been there and this lady is working. There are some employees who work here that are amazing and do care about customer satisfaction.

This store is so lazy that they can't even go to the parking lot to get there carts back, so they just don't let you take them out of the store, so if you purchase many items or heavy items you will have to make multiple trips just to get all your stuff on your car!! This is ridiculous!! There good enough to take my money but not good enough to make it easy to get my stuff in my car, I will take my business else where!!

The only good thing about it is it's convenience being right down the street from where I live but the store is dirty and unorganized. The customer service is horrible. And the sales reps have zero sales training clearly. What do they just hire anyone that can speak a little English? I got to the register and the lady didn't even speak. This the second time I've come to this location and a different person but the same exact thing. Except this time the lady takes my things out of the basket rings up and tells me the price. I gave her my money after holding it out while waiting until she put everything in the bag. She left the basket on the counter and didn't even hand me my bag. Says thank you as I look at her waiting for my bag. I reached over the basket and grabbed my bag which was an arms reach away. Then she pushes the basket off the counter as if I was supposed to take it and put it back. Is that the customers job?! What type of establishment is this?! The worst customer service ever. I'd rather go pay publix prices than deal with these damn people that want to make someone come out of character. Lucky for her I was in a good mood and didn't feel like going off on the damn employee and telling her about herself. Absolutely ridiculous. Lucky I gave it two stars!!

When asked to use the restroom, I was denied and I almost fell to the floor. What happened with Florida courtesy. Oh by the way, I was asked to go to the Chinese restaurant better. So what are the Florida rules when your also disabled. And i ask where does the staff go if they need to use the restroom. i was told i was causing harassment. Go figure. she just learned a new word. But does she know when to use it? Lol! I give this store a 2 for rudeness and a 1 star for trying to understand the customers.

Horrible customer service. I always come to this location never had a problem using my coupon app. The lady from the register look so unhappy like she didn’t want to be there. I put my number in. She didn’t tell it didn’t take it or anything. Once I got to the car and look at my receipt. I saw that I didn’t get any coupons applied. I went back to the store asked the lady if we can fix it. I was told there nothing they can do. That I just had to deal with it or call the corporate.

They have excellent prices on core water and Starbucks cold bottled coffee also great prices on dog treats. Cleaning supplies and toiletries are much less expensive than grocery store or Wal-Mart

Cashier was nice. Every single price was wrong. It was ridiculous. Literally they had april advertisements up there. Extremely frustrated and frustrating process. Better off going to dollar tree where you know the prices. Never again will I come here, it was like a zoo

Stuff all on floor and can't get to certain items on the shelf. Also got cigarettes and wasn't happy because I wanted 2 cartons and they weren't even left in the carton just put single in the bag. They have always left them in the carton before. Won't be back to this one.

Low quality of the productos and not to much varieties. Prices are low compared with other stores, but it isnup to the brand. You can't find anything you want, but if you are going to serch somthing very common like batteries or gift cards, this is the place.

Awsome service cant complain . staff was happy was a very good atmosphere to be in . i appreciate management welcoming when i walk in the door and the friendly smile every time i walk in. I get asked about my daughter... More like a family oriented atmosphere

Employees have an attitude if you don't respond to them in spanish. Everytime I go in I say "hello" when they say "hola". Especially from the small lady whos at the register in the afternoons. When they have a customer who speaks spanish they'll sit there, and have a conversation while other people are waiting, or will just sit there and talk amongst themselves instead of clearing the aisles or helping customers.

Bought an ice cream cone and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream slices from there and the cone was stale, ice cream on cone didn’t taste like anything and looked like it was defrosted a little then put back in the freezer. It fell apart within 3 mins of eating. The slices had freezer burn.

Wait in line forever. With unemployment so high why do they only have one cashier with a line all the way to the back?Cheap run company.👎Think like a customer.Would you want to wait in line forever?

Horrible service cashier hold conversations in Spanish with customers laughing and talking while lines back up then when you finally get waited in they give you rude attitude. Stay away

Have bougth food that was expired, and when i pointed to management they just put it back. Do not ask for extra bags because they do not want to give it if they may break. Look at expiration dates on specials.

Not as organized. Bathroom not available for customers. I was with my two children who needed to go to the bathroom while I shopped and I was told to go to Publix. Maintenance needed!

Short staffed one day and couldn't get a price check or find out if an item was in stock because only one lady was there and couldn't leave the register because of her line at the time.
