After reading some reviews I was a bit hesitant on visiting, but I did so anyways. I’ve been to a lot of pet shops and can say that they were one of the best. The owner is a complete sweetheart and is very knowledgeable! The birds in the store look very loved and taken care of, none lacking in food or water like I had seen in some comments (I made sure to check). They also have a great variety of seeds, toys, and cages at a very good price. I ended up taking a little friend home and here they are with me healthy. Thank you so much Zuri Pet Shop for everything, I will be back soon!

For the past 3 years I've been either buying a bird or bird food and toys and this shop. I like the fact that the same animals aren't always there, the sell a lot of them, so if you see one you like get it because it won't be there next time. Owner is attentive, when shes not dealing with customers on the Phone and has knowledge about the animals. Worthy of a visit for sure to see their variety and prices.

Took a trip over to check out Indian ringnecks and Quakers. When I walked in the store there was a man eating at the desk,he did not greet me and my friend as we proceeded to check out the animals ...many lacking food and water, incredibly small cages with multiple birds that are fearful. There are plenty of larger cages for sale though taking up most of the floor space.. the whole place needs a deep clean.. I did send a private message in regards to my concern but I honestly don't feel like it was heard with the statement of "animal control. Thinks it's good enough"

AVOID, if you love animals. We drove 30 minutes to come to your store, I could see the crammed cages outside in the heat with budgies, when I opened the door I spotted how many birds were in the cages inside, so many in a cage they can’t even stretch their wings. Shame on you. Filthy conditions. You’re in it for the money and don’t care about the well-being of the animals. Fake reviews, as no way your store is what you say. 😡

Drove over 30 min from Brandon bc I read that this store has good prices and a wide range of birds to chose from. Walked into the store and said hello to the man sitting at the front, he didn’t even look up at me, yet alone return the greetings. I looked around but didn’t spot the breed that I came to see. I tried asking the man at the front about seeing the particular species, but he just handed me a card and told me to contact his daughter. Why is the store even open if there’s no one there to help? If I wanted to chat over the phone I wouldn’t have drove all the way over there. Won’t be coming back.

Found an ad for this store on CL and went to see it. It's a very nice place. clean and organized. Friendly staff and lots and lots of so many different birds! some I've never seen and all looked healthy and taken care of. granted they are not hand raised so 8m sure most will need taming but they did have at least 10-15 baby budgies, cockatiels and love birds for very good price that you can raise yourself. Just 1 thing, if you're sensitive to noise or have a sensitive child, this is a very loud store. but overall a very good experience!

Highly recommend cause of there variety in pets , care for those pets , prices , customer care. They have so many brids but they also have reptiles , hedgehog, tortoises , hamsters , I’ve gone to many pet stores and I usally it’s only birds but I was glad to see other type of animals , also I buy pellets for my brids and I’ve compared there price to other stores and I have to say there’s is more affordable. Thanks 😊

The best place where you can buy a pet, they always have a variety of foods and cages available, the animals look healthy and comfortable, the place is very clean and the service is excellent I love it ❤️

Way better prices with wonderful customer service experience helping My Mom and I find the right cage for Jake and Jessie (Canary birds) One of these days I will breed and sell them just like the boss man but on a small scale level. One of the best pet shops in Florida period. Check them out if you don't believe Me :) Go Zuri Palomas Pet shop!!!!!

A special thank you to this amazing lady! All my life I’ve grown up with birds. I’ve always been fascinated with the Macaws. Zuri, with all of our conversations, I never shared that thought of how much your baby Scarlet meant to me. You truly fulfilled my dream of owning one. Thank you so much, I love you to pieces! Please everyone, this woman is the best of the best! If your in the market for buying a Macaw, you need to go to her. If at the time the bird is not available, wait! This woman loves her birds andit’s obvious. She has the most affordable prices and most healthiest Macaws. The minute I first saw my baby Scarlet, I knew she was the one. She is a Scarlet Macaw and I also named her Scarlet. She is gorgeous and healthy. I could tell this owner put a lot of effort into making her healthy and happy. After I took her to the vet for her buying checkup, one of the best aviarydoctor in town said “she is very healthy!” I knew it! I could tell from the day I bought her. I was really excited to come here for a while. I took the 30 min trip in search for a parrotlet. When I arrived there was a gentleman there that I don’t think knew much about the birds. He couldn’t answer many questions about them, struggled to get the birds to come to him so i could possibly hold one (they were all unfriendly and bit him)Many of the birds appear miserable, injured or ripping their feathers out. I’m extremely surprised considering how many good reviews here.I was hoping for some babies, 0 baby birds here. And none of the birds are hand fed, therefore none of them are friendly.

My son saw a zebra finch who had no hair and damaged beak. We asked the worker and she said the other birds were picking on him. He cried for 30 minutes until we went back to save that bird ❤️ The lady working was super sweet to my son. The birds name is lucky. Thank you for being awesome!! ❤️ ❤️

I was saddened to see so many birds crammed into tiny cages with barely any room. Also with nothing in cage but 1 perch and tiny food dish. Looked like torture for most of them. If you have any care or knowledge of birds you would understand why this was so unhealthy. Many birds did not appear to be babies which most likely means they have spent a while in these conditions. 😞 I wanted to "rescue" a couple but that would mean giving them my business. I think they are simply over their heads with birds. They have too many to properly care for them.

Super nice people! You can tell when people care for customers and how she cares for the animals she sells. I highly recommend this store if you are in search of a new pet. I bought a cockatiel from her 1 week ago and she walked me through the whole transition. It is hard if you never have a bird but she made so easy for me. Thumbs up for this place.

I LOVE this place it’s about a 23 min drive from me but it’s honestly perfect sized it has everything you can think of even toys cages every thing honestly smells so nice and even is organized they are billangual which is perfect sweet staff Especially the lady she’s so kind and such a sweet heart I didn’t get her name but she knows what she’s doing and wants the best for all her animals I’m planning on getting a Indian Ringneck one of the older ones not a baby and I am looking toward to it this is the only place I trust to get my new member soon and SUCH GOOD PRICES!! Cheapest place so far I found for a Indian ringneck look forward for my new baby soon def recommend for anyone just to even stop by so worth it in def gonna be a on coming customer !!

Birds are caged in horrible conditions. They have 6 birds in a cage that is barely big enough for two birds. Don't buy from this establishment until they fix their practices.

Zuri sold us a sick bird! I just spent over 400$ for the bird we got. So if you do not want to pay vet bill go and get a bird from responsible breeders. Also the vet said it’s the start, they may ask more tests ...If I got the bird from breeeder I would have paid 350-400$ baby gcc.We changed 3 different vets and spend over 700$ .... she died in my arms...the last vet said that it was a bad breeder!So I do NoT recommend this place to anyone !We are heart broken and devastated...

Hello the owner is very sweet takes care of her animals very well I am experienced and I come to the store all animals are well taken care of beautiful and healthy I’ve gotten many of my loved pets there the prices are very good and most of the time better prices then other pet shops I go to has different types of animals bird ,rabbets ,reptiles. 😋 I will keep coming here cause I know the pets I get will be healthy and well taken care of ty have a great day

Sick, stressed birds everywhere. Cages are filthy, and absolutely no toys available for the birds, even the ones with the higher IQ. Bird lovers beware, and avoid.Also have birds outside in 90+ degree weather.
