Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store is very clean and well organized. I was particularly impressed with the fish section. All fish looked really good and very healthy. I got an albino corydora and I could not believe how big and healthy he is. They all looked great.All the ghost shrimp were alive and big! I was shocked to see they were ghost shrimp. Definitely not feeder looking.Overall 10/10.I signed up and will be returning.

We've been to lots of groomers, but the grromers at Pet Supplies Plus are THE BEST! They take such great care of our dog and do absolutely amazing work. She is a bit finicky, but actually enjoys going here to get bathed and trimmed.

I was here today to get my dogs nails cut. They did a great job, and trimmed her nails nice and short without cutting to the quick. She’s a service dog, so they let me sit back with her and give her treats while they trimmed her nails.While waiting for my turn I went shopping, and saw they they have excellent products. I got some Fromm treats, a few extra tidbits, and a bed. As you can see, she LOVES her bed.

During Covid-19 crisis they have been extremely careful and accommodating to their customers. I go online, make my order and within 2 hours it is ready and they bring it to my car in the parking lot. Great attitudes and always smiling. LOVE the fact that they have a dog wash also! So much easier than washing my dog at home.

MR. James was awesome and wonderful. He had our stuff ready and out the door with in minutes. He was super helpful and had a lot of knowledge of what he was doing and answered our questions with out a doubt. We are super happy with our new guinea pigs. We will always come back for our monthly supplies there. We were super satisfied with the whole store and the employees. Thank you again.

The newer manager, James is AWESOME. I have been shopping at this store for quite some time and he was a breath of fresh air! He is beyond knowledgeable, helped me with everything I needed to know about my ball python, and not once did I receive ‘I don’t know’ as an answer to a question.. which often is what I get with the employees there. I even started talking about my fish tank and he helped me so much with my sick parrot fish, who is now completely back to normal! I will be back more than I have been as the energy in the store was much more friendly and it was a very pleasant experience!!!

I just adopted a cat for the first time, so I have very limited knowledge on what a cat needs. Well, Krista gave excellent recommendations for every kind of item I was looking for, clued me in to deals, and did so after she was already supposed to leave! Fantastic service, but the other associates were also wonderful particularly Emma, who chose to help carry my large scratching post to the car for me. It's service like this that makes for a returning customer; I will definitely be back!

They’ve always been great stocking healthy foods for our animals- a little pricey but our dogs health has been great and she’s now 12+ yrs old. The grooming bath is also a great option when we have the time, but the professionals at this location always do a great job too!

I've been taking my pet there for almost 2 years now, great service friendly staff, and to mention my dog loves Molly and she gives my dog the best hair cuts. Great place for pet grooming.

It took me a long time to find the perfect groomer for my pet. They really go a step further to make sure you and your pet are happy and pleased. Prices are standard but included in that price are this other places charge extra for, like nail grinding and premium shampoo. I'm glad they in my area and I'm pleased with the services the grooming department offers.

Its a nice store with a good selection of different things for whatever kind of pet you have. I have two dogs, two lizards, and fish. So its nice to have that selection without going to some big box store that doesn't make you feel like family. The store was clean, the animals looked well taken care of when we visited, and the staff was nice and helpful. Keep up the good work!

I've always felt so personally welcomed in my little local pet store. Molly the groomer is great with my dog. The employees seem happy and eager to help you. The merchandise is good quality huge selection and prices are fair. I like the new location better. Have been going here for years now, and always get excited to walk in the door. Thanks guys :)

I have been coming to this place for a year and a half to use the self washing station and have always had a great experience but today was completely different. The employer knocked on the door 5 minutes prior to my time being up and after 5 minutes I stopped and put my dog (Akita inu) down on the floor. I know I do not work there but I felt the need to clean especially because my dog was shedding a lot. My husband helped me clean while my dog was still on the floor are after 10 minutes of cleaning my husband walked out with our dog. I told him I was going to stay and clean some more so he payed and went to the car. As I was cleaning the employee walked and said not to worry about (after I had already been cleaning for 20 minutes). When I got in the car I noticed they charged my husband double so I went back inside to ask about it. The guy that is supposedly the manger told me that he had knocked on our door 5 minutes before our time was up and because I did not walk out the room he charged me double. First of all, he never came back to tell us our time was up. Second, I have never had this issue before and I have always been respectful and have cleaned up my mess up. He said that he stopped the timer when we got to the register and he refused to give me my money back and was very very rude. I will never go back to this place again.

I would put zero, however....called this location. Told the grooming section I have my regular once a month Doberman coming in for a 10 minute nail clipping. Of course, there is a young girl who responded we don't take walk-ins before 11??!?! Um....since when? When I arrive cuz I called in advance there was one dog being serviced by another groomer. So wasn't busy, after she rolled her eyes and took my dog, she tells me the price is now $15, and her card reader isn't working. OK, let's rewind here.....first, if you know patrons are coming, and they've called in advance, let them know your electronic devices don't work, we will gladly get the cash, secondly, when did the prices go up? From 3 weeks ago? Probably another bit of information you should inform a regular. At the end if the day, customer service is hideous and the generational impersonable types that are behind each of these businesses are driving them into devastation. Petco we are making the extra few minutes drive to y'all. Terrible, just disgraceful 😔

Bought an iguana along with the entire setup to go along with it. I found the prices to be fair, the place was clean and well kept. I must say, the three employees I dealt with were excellent, super friendly, and extremely helpful. Everyone had great attitudes and was more than accommodating. I would definitely visit again next time I’m in the Tampa area.

It's kind of out of my way, but it was the only place that had super worms when I needed them.The ladies that work there are super friendly!UPDATE: 8/24/2019 I purchased an adult male Mojave ball python today. Beautiful big boy! As always, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The young woman in charge of the reptiles really impressed me. She refused to sell a particular snake because he's not eating properly. Very professional and responsible of her. That tells me that they really do care about their animals.Every time I go there, the store is always clean, the animals are well cared for, and the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable.

Very helpful staff here. Was able to find diapers for my tiny chihuahua. There were also collars small enough to fit both of my very small chihuahuas. The pig ears were a better quality than another offer store and they love it.

I love that they don't sell puppy mill puppies but instead offer homeless dogs and puppies for adoption. The groomer is super nice and you have the option to wash your own dog in the facility. I will continue to show my support.

I don’t trust anyone else with my dog’s nails. The women that do the grooming/nails are the most patient and kind people you will ever see. The prices on all of their products and services are very good ($12 for a nail grind where other places will charge $25+) and everyone that works there is incredibly knowledgeable and you can really tell they care about what they are doing. I won’t go anywhere else.

If you like rainbowfish, this is your store!Update 2/25/20 - most of the original employees that made this store as great as it is were terminated in the change over, so sad, don't know if I would give them my business anymore.

I had my pomeranian groomed there yesterday and Brittany did an excellent job with him. She did exactly what we wanted and helped out also with a slight flea problem. The store is much better than it was at the old location and the staff is a lot nicer too!

I come here every week for live food for my 3 ball pythons and my gecko. The staff are friendly and will help you with everything you need! The selection is better than the big name stores and the store is one of the cleanest pet stores I've ever been too!

I take my cats there to have their nails trimmed. The woman groomer is always SUPER nice and treats my babies with attentive care. One of my cats was a "trouble maker" and did NOT like getting her nails done... She lashed out and caught the groomer and her assistant pretty bad. I felt horrible, but they were so calm and nice about the situation. I will continue to take my kitties to see her. She does a great job and the rest of the staff is VERY friendly and helpful

Great store for reptile supplies, and they are one of only two stores in Tampa that carry live feeders that I know of. The feeders are healthy too, and you can tell they are well cared for. They also have a grooming service, and offer do it yourself grooming where you can rent their grooming room. I always drive the extra time it takes for me to get here. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable too. Best Pet store in town!

I've always had relatively good experiences at this location but today was a different story.I normally go here to buy rodents to feed my snake and normally dont have issues. Today, however, was different.I went in to buy a rodent a rodent and was pretty surprised when the attendant asked if I had "a preference in color". I let them know that this was a feeder rodent, as long as it's small I'm okay. They then proceeded to pick a rat and put them in the bag while apologizing to the rat and staring me down.I'm honestly shocked that someone in a pet store would behave that way towards a paying customer. More so upset as I already feel bad having to feed my snake a rat and this experience made me feel more shameful and guilty.I'm on the fence on if I'll ever return to this location. I feel that this kind of attitude is not needed. This staff needs to be coached on the appropriate way to speak to customers and keep her feelings to herself.

As long time, very loyal customers of other PSP locations we decided to stop in to this particular store today and were we disappointed to say the least! We were the only customers in the store and were never even greeted by the two staff members behind the counter. Then we needed a large bag of cat food (on a top shelf) taken down and I felt as though we were interrupting them by asking for assistance. Again, we visit the other Tampa location and Palm Harbor location 2 to 3 times per week as we feed a large ferel colony of cats plus 20+ cats of our own. We are always greeted by their staff's and asked if we need assistance! Unfortunately this location will no longer earn any of our business!
