I gave this a review because Regan and Meagan. Last Wednesday's experience rate would have been a 1. My daughter went to surrender her cat. From the moment we entered the area Ashley was not very sociable, friendly. She showed like what my daughter was doing was bad. It's bad enough my daughter was really hurt and sad that she did everything in her power to try and keep her cat. So Ashley took my daughter's name and phone number, we did not hear any time for us to surrender Boo today because Ashley never confirmed because of a litter of cats were going to be dropped off. We called today to confirm and Ashley was very rude to the point that I hung up and called back to speak to a manager. And that is when I spoke with Regan. She had empathy, compassion and understood. She was apologetic and awesome. We met with Meagan when we dropped off my daughters cat. Meagan was awesome. I have adopted 2 cats that will be 3 years old. I will continue to mention this humane society, but will not refer Ashley. Thank you so much Regan and Meagan. My daughter surrendered Boo , but truly loves her.

Once I arrived at donation drop of 940..told by a staff member.they don't open until 10.. I ignored her. Just left donations.. I get so nervous when I stop drop off donations because staff try to inspect items as I drop them off.. very picky. And Not very nice... I assured her my things are in good condition..no response. I only drop off items on side at off hours now to avoid your staff. I would not continue to donate but do it for animals that are much nicer than most people.. I would think you would teach staff to be more thankful to donations instead of making it like a terrible inspection experience... just throw away the unsellable stuff.i would think your trash pu service is tax deductible since you are a thrift shop. It has been a while since donated..maybe staff or policy has changed..will try new site when opens.

Do not donate to this people they are very rude and they say that nobody can go and check the dumpster witch that's no illegal and the ladies shouldn't even work there she was so disrespectful I hope nobody donate nothing there they put everything in the garbage

I drop off boxes and furniture if not every week every 2 weeks since my mother passed away in December. Today I dropped a walker in perfect shape with brakes and 3 large tubs and 2 boxes. Mostly dishes fancy china. I put 2 boxes in the dumpster that were broken down and a guy came out and asked me rudely to take them to my own trash. I would think that they have made thousands off the stuff I have given them to help animals. This was the last time I will ever go there.

Great little thrift shop. Some things feel overpriced for what they are. More contemporary items than antiques. Clothing selection is limited in comparison to some larger thrift stores, but still a great shop to pop into if you are passing by.

There is a manager at this location that is not very pleasant. Whenever she is working she hangs out in the back and loudly complains about anything and everything. She complains about donations, customers, people working there, etc. One time a couple was looking at a couch that did not have a price and they asked her about it, they also asked if they deliver. Well, this woman got all loud and snarky with them. She started walking around the store loudly complaining about customers that ask if they deliver. This went on for almost 10 minutes and that couple looking at the couch just looked at each other in shock and walked out.Another time a customer thought they were charged the wrong price. The manager checked and saw they were charge the correct price. She walked away and loudly said that its a thrift store and you got it on sale so why complain, it all goes to a good cause.

I walked up to the two ladies on their phone at the adoption center to inquire about adoption. They told me to hold on and continued looking at photos on the one woman's phone and leisurely talking like they were on break. I stood there and waited but when it became clear there was no rush to do their jobs I left.

Funds from this thrift store goes to supporting the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast (HSTC) which was founded in 1955. According to their web site "It is the only open access, no-kill animal welfare organization operating in Martin County". Every year they find homes for 3,000 animals and since being founded they have helped over 350,000 animals. They provide pet adoptions, spay and neuter services, county licensing, community TNVR, education, pet therapy, and obedience training. All of my pets through the years including my current two best buddies have been rescues so I have a particular affinity for this type of charity and I make a point of stopping when ever I see a thrift store that helps my furry friends.The HSTC operates this thrift store in Stuart that is listed as north and they also have a central Stuart store I previously visited. Inside the store was one large room with merchandise that included holiday decorations home goods, clothing, accessories, a small amount of furniture, and books. In the center of the store is a cat adoption room where you can see the animals they have in residence. How wonderful that you can go home with a thrifted item that saves you money and helps the planet and a new best friend.I love this organization so much. Anyone that helps the animals has my heart. I try to support them any time I am in Stuart. This is a really nice store run by lovely volunteers. They are my kind of people.

Went here a year ago, adopted the world's goodest boy. Willy nuzzles my face ever morning, and spends lots of time grooming his baby sister. Best decision ever. I'm thankful the humane society tries so hard to rehome these older cats.

My family and I adopted our precious 3 year old cat Taco for my daughters birthday. Taco is a dream. She is so sweet and affectionate. The volunteers were so kind and helpful and really made it a special moment for my family. We are so grateful ❤

Humane Society inside Goodwill is a good as it gets. Prices are the best & the volunteers are so nice.Always a great selection of furniture & name brand purses & shoes.

My favorite thrift store in town. Can play with the cat's and staff is super friendly. Great place for a younger crowd to get clothes and furniture. Very clean store.

If you adopt a pet, go straight to the vet especially if you have other pets. My first cat ended up infected. And, I can't understand how they can allow animals out when full of fleas to infest your house and other animals. Had I known I would be out so much money so soon, I would have held off adopting and not from them. And what an attitude they have if you complain. And don't waste your time calling the Exe Director, he had some argumentative employee return my call. They are certainly not making any friends for support or fund raising. I used to donate a lot to the thrift store.

Found exactly what I needed, since it is a thrift store I don't always find what I am looking for but when I do it is always reasonable and in good repair. Store is always clean and organized as well.
