Love that they sell horn worms individually. They really care about their animals. They do everything to ensure customers learn all there is to know about the animal they are getting.Great place for lovers of fish, snakes, lizards, turtles and spiders!! 🕷️ 💕

Owner was very rude. Walked in to get a new uvb tube light for my turtle that was purchased 3 years ago (was told he would never get bigger than a softball and is now over 6 inches long). They didn’t have the size bulb I needed so I said I would be okay upgrading the bulb, which he then showed me a regular uvb bulb, not tube light. When I expressed that those bulbs are not recommended by many turtle experts, he immediately walked away and told me to let him know if I find a bulb. He could have EASILY helped me find an EQUIVALENT bulb or better. Also, I DO NOT recommend buying a pet there, as they do not convey their full grown sizes accurately, which leads to upgrading housing more than originally designed planned.

My fiancé and I have been going here for years. My fiancé bought his sudan plated lizard here 13 years ago and she is still doing amazing and is alive. We buy all her food and worms from here, as well as her tank stuff. We also have a 150 gal saltwater tank which is doing amazing thanks to aquatic n exotics testing our water for us. We’ve bought many saltwater fish from them and a couple of anemones and they all acclimated well to our tank. They always help us as soon as we walk in and are extremely nice people! I would definitely recommend to everyone(:

Aquatic and exotic is the best! This place is the complete opposite of a chain pet store. Every employee is extremely educated on every type of exotic animal, they can answer literally any question you have. They are all nice and very helpful! They don’t lie to make money, and they definitely do not mislead you on any type of information which is so important for any type of animal’s care.They have a huge selection of reptiles, amphibians, fish, exotic food, terrarium decor, and all kinds of supplies. I literally go to this store when Im bored and I wan’t to look around lol.Thanks for all of your help! - Keef and Yoda’s mom

3 in total tortoises and 2 of the 3 tortoise have died.Only 1 did the store, semi acknowledged and swapped with another sulcata. However when I purchased a red foot and told them I noticed similar symptoms of unhealthy tortoise prior to the 7 day notice and they refused to acknowledge and that same tortoise died 3 weeks later.Unfortunately Simba passed away yesterday.When we first got him I knew he sick with something voiced it to the Aquatic N Exotic store which we got him as well as Chompers and the first sulcata was ill as well that's when they gave us Chompers.However they insisted Simba was healthy from their end. We spent so much time trying to get him healthy and for a little bit it really did look change was happening he was moving around, interacting with us and finally eating.Within 48 hours he started going down hill faster than I had ever seen. When I say I tried everything I tried. One part im glad he isn't suffering anymore but equally I was so hopeful he was going to make it and he definitely had a very loving personality.To say he will be missed be our family is a huge understatement. The money, time spent, emotionally put in to these animals and this store took clear advantage I've spent around $800 at this store and was going to send people their way, after all this I say go somewhere even the internet and you'll have better odds.

Best reptile and aquatics store ive seen in Florida by alot. Literally hundreds of reptiles. 2nd purchase made today as they were packing up a ton of reptiles for the Scales event. They were super busy and near closing yet multiple employees still took time to help us find what we were looking for and even look through all the animals they had packed up in boxes. Thats why I drive an hour to go here.

Normally a great store to visit. Today I was just a bother to the young lady testing the aquarium waters. "I'll get back to this when I get done with you. I should have walked out. There are too many pet shops out there to have to put up with rude clerks.

They have an amazing selection of reptiles, including lizards, snakes, and turtles. The staff was very helpful and the animals were very healthy. There is also a large fish section.

Aquatic and Exotic is the best aquarium and pet store I’ve ever been too. They have a wide range of fish, reptiles, amphibians and even spiders. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful so it’s the perfect place if you need help. Highly recommend!!!

Bought a tortoise kit, and baby sulcata from here. She did show signs of being sick and something wrong with her. Tried giving a couple days to let her settle in new home but she still appears ill.I had called for some help and to see what can be done. The owner, Josh, handled the situation great after one employee wasn't able to assist. Thank you for taking care of us Josh.

They are every helpful and friendly. This place has a variety of pets and pet supplies. The other day I purchased a Mexican Fire Leg 🕷️. They were very knowledgeable about the tarantulas and it helped me decide which one I wanted. At the end I had an overall excellent experience. As always. This isn't my first time here and won't be my last either. 😊

Aquatic n' Exotic is my husband's and my absolute favorite place to get our feeders. The staff is super friendly, extremely professional and knowledgeable on all their animals, and are always more than happy to answer any questions or give you advice on animal care or anything else you are curious about. Xander and Danielle especially are always happy to see us, and greet us warmly whenever we come in. We've been coming here for four years now and will be forever customers! They have such a wide variety of aquatic animals and reptiles, all happy and well cared for. Any animals that come to them sick are treated carefully until they are back to full health. They are truly a great place!! Love doing business with them!!Keep up the great work guys!

One of the best shops I've been to in a long time! Staff is knowledgeable and really cares that you know how to take care of your animals, all you have to do is listen. Some of the reviews on here seem outlandish and I doubt they have even set foot inside this shop. Very happy with my Tokay Gecko and all the advice and willingness to help after the sale.

So many amazing snakes to choose from! I wanted a pink snake and while they dont completely exist I did walk out with a light pink king snake. Very happy with the selection, price, and customer service from the team. Will definitely be back again soon!

I love this place to feed my lizard. I am hoping to get a turtle or frog from them. This place has so many interesting pets for sale and a great variety of fish. Awesome place and awesome and knowledgeable staff.

I bought mine son his first snake here, and it was a great experience. I personally don't like snakes, but the staff helped my son know what he was going to need. He picked a male hypo Columbian red tail boa. The animal was gentle, and easy to care for. I am thankful to Aquatic N Exotic Inc. because my son is probably going to ask for another boa in the near future.

The Crew at this shop know their stuff. They have just about any species you could think of, and a huge variety of dry goods for both reptiles and fish! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, prices are super reasonable (Shop Local!!!) and the animals all look happy and well cared for. Stop in, say hi to their NFS Breeders and ambassadors, and check out their fossils for sale as well!!! I'll definitely back with a fuller wallet and more time! I just grabbed feeders and my snakes say thank you.

Went to check this store out today after seeing them at multiple reptiles expos. To start the place smells horrible and is very dirty. Granted they were moving things around. Next is the signs all around stating no photos or videos allowed in the store HUGE red flag immediately. I understood once I went to the other side of the store and saw the horrendous care these animals were receiving. I wish I could attach pictures I’m genuinely disgusted. I don’t know how they have such a high reputation. 3 adult bearded dragons were black bearding which is an indication of worms or other internal illnesses. They were kept in much too small enclosures with paper towel as a substrate with poop everywhere and one hide. They have a decent set up for their fish and the crested geckos are ok but bare tanks. The absolutely most horrific part was this emerald tree boa that looked to be a few years old. He was emaciated, full of wrinkles, stuck shed and looked half dead. Adult leopard geckos housed together in way too small of a tank. Dead rats left in containers with snakes, very very overcrowded tanks. Baby bearded dragons on top of each-other in way too small a tank. The place was a mess. Again, see for yourself. Still shocked about no pictures. They don’t want people showing their lack of effective care. Anyone that knows anything about reptiles will be shocked. Staff was pleasant and friendly to deal with but hovered a bit. Very disappointed at what I saw and the state a lot of these animals are in. Again, they have such high reviews from reptile expos and morph markets but if the people could see really what’s going on in the store they would probably hesitate. If anyone working for the store sees this, don’t bother to contact me I won’t be back. This is my observation & opinion. As an educated reptile keeper I’m very disappointed.

Have bought multiple fish from this store with no issues but the last one I bought had ick which infected my whole tank and now all my fish are slowly dropping like flies. Have lost my Arowana, gar, and now others are showing signs as well of ICK.

I went here today for the first time and I will definitely return. Everyone was so educated and friendly and super generous. The staff went out of their way to help me pick a dock for my turtle that fits my tank! The prices are way better than the other stores I’ve been to as well!

Spent $50 on a fish for my salt water aquarium that I pay them to maintain. The fish died within 24 hours and their reaction was basically "oh well" I was told nobody warranties salt water fish which is a lie. They don't stand behind their product or give a damn about meeting customer expectations.. Buy at your own risk
