I love this place. They have such incredible clearance items that I found myself wondering how they make any money. Then I looked in my cart and saw clearance deals AND regular items, so they are pretty smart in luring us in. Both myself and my “puppy” leave there very happy. The staff is wonderful too.

Although this store seems fine from outside looking in, all reptiles that I have purchased from this location have unfortunately passed both due to illnesses, both times I have called the store and they suggested that I bring the body of my recently passed animals back to the store so they can give me another animal. That might be fine for some people but I have these animals as part of my family not just some pet, so I get attached to these animals and their personalities it’s not just a case of returning and switching, the way they care for these animals in store is incorrect, which an employee has told me after I had called originally when my bearded dragon had passed , if I were you I’d go to a more reputable location and with someone who actually cares for their animals, I have grown up owning reptiles and have been taking care of many different breed of reptiles my entire life I am familiar with the care of these animals I did not buy on impulse, I have many other snakes and bearded dragons which were not bought from this location that are thriving, so I am very experienced with the care and knowledge of the animals , ( both the snake and bearded dragon purchased from this location have passed) if you are looking for a healthy friend for the family stay far away from this place!!!!

I shop for fish and aquarium supplies here when not shopping online. It's good to talk with the staff and the closest viable shop near me. It's still a good spot to take the grandkids. The fish I buy from Pet Supermarket usually live. I have 2 aquariums and my water column/temperature is on point. The improvements should be in their product and customer satisfaction policies.

I called them before hand because they are about a 45 minute drive from my house. I called them to see if they have chinchillas because my chinchilla is getting sad from being alone as they are very social animals and I did explain this situation to her. Not only was the older blonde lady very rude from the moment I stepped in the establishment but she was also very unknowledgeable about the animals they have there for adoption. She would not let me purchase because I'm 17. Then kept contradicting herself and making new excuses when my mom called and talked to her about it to try and understand the situation. I have NEVER had this issue in a pet store I have before signed adoption paperwork and never had a problem until pet supermarket and she literally talked to me like I was dirt! I do NOT recommend this place whatsoever your children will not be treated like people unless your there to hand them the payment. Karen at her finest! Says he has been there weeks and no one wants him but then denies him a forever home. I wouldn't waste your time with this place with ridiculously rude customer service from uncaring unknowledgeable people.ReplyI will not be reaching out to you for excuses to be made for your rude unknowledgeable Karen of an employee

Every reptile I’ve bought has died from neglect in the store. Bought a snake and it had mites for so long they were all fat and infected the snakes blood. Called to bring it to their attention and they refused to even acknowledge any type of mistreatment and was extremely rude before hanging up on me. Had a worker literally recommend another store and admit that the “higher ups” refused to change anything to help the animals be healthier. After seeing the way whoever runs the account responsible for replying to reviews, it’s obvious one or more people who are managing this store are imbeciles and ignorant. If you read the reviews whoever is replying on behalf of the store is saying silly “you’re wrong” to serious reviews and concerns. If you want healthy animals for your family DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORES THEY NEGLECT THEIR ANIMALS AND I RECEIVED A SNAKE FULLY INFECTED WITH PARASITIC MITES THAT CAME FROM AN ENCLOSURE WITH MULTIPLE SNAKES IN ONE AREA AND THEY PROCEEDED TO TELL ME I WAS WRONG ABOUT IT AFTER FULLY REHABILITATING THE SNAKE

A little bit of everything for pets. Neither as large and all encompassing as the big pet store, nor as modest as the pet aisle in a supermarket, it fills the niche in between. Comfortable aisles, and a reasonable selection makes a nice, less stressful neighborhood one stop shop for pets.

The staff at this location is very knowledgeable, especially concerning fish. The manager, Mike, has spent a great deal of time discussing all aspects of fish keeping with us as we set up tanks for our kids. We greatly appreciate his time and attention.

Best pet shop around!!! We bought a rex rabbit and hes the best! We also always buy all of our pet supplies from there. We have 3 dogs, one rabbit and 8 turtles! The best and nicest employees! Thank you guys!

The employees implied I was trying to steal an order that was paid for online… after not even having the order ready & printing of the information THEMSELVES & then acting like they don’t know what the paper meant? When they printed it off of their own computer?To add, they initially tried to give me the paper to get the items myself (no thanks, that’s why I order ahead)… so I could have grabbed them & left. But I had no idea where the items were (because it’s not MY job to)… so I waited for the employee to get them (do THEIR job).Then he tried to ring me up… after HE PRINTED THE ORDER FORM.They also refused to look at the receipt I pulled up on my phone, after getting ahold of my grandma since this was for her. His god complex got in the way of his customer service skills (or maybe reading comprehension?). Wasted my time, energy, and gas (because I left the car running for my OTHER grandma that had to wait the twenty minutes by herself that should’ve been no more than TWO)She already had a bad experience at a different location… and that’s why she sent me here.I guess it’s just Pet Supermarket.

Michael here at Pet Supermarket is such a good-hearted person. He has gone above and beyond what any store manager would do. Drove 45 minutes to go purchase a tarantula and unfortunately it was in malt when we got there, not to say I was a little upset that they could not have told me that before I drove 45 minutes each way but it was a very good meeting experience showed me something about this person but you don't see a lot anymore these days. If you're reading this Michael you know who I am I want to say thank you for everything you did yesterday and we will be seeing you Saturday for the purchase of our tarantula. He would not accept any money from us and put it on hold in our name. So blessed to have found someone in this world that has a good heart

Went to return some items my new puppy didn't take to and ended up on a pet safari with my daughter, my cousin, and the nicest staff member Chey. She was so kind and friendly. She took the time to let us all hold and see so many of the awesome pets in the store even tho we weren't ready to purchase any thay day. We got to see and hold everything from snakes to Guinea pigs and even ferrets! My daughter was grinning from ear to ear. I know this type of experience isn't for everyone and that staff can't always stop what they're doing just to let you hold a rabbit but I want to specifically thank Chey for taking the time out of her day to do so.

Was never approached by any staff member. Was there with my grandson, to buy fish. I had no idea WHAT to get and what goes with it. Everything I wanted to know, I had to ask. Nothing was "given" to me. Customer Service could stand some tweaking.

Had a great time taking my pooch for his first Pet Supermarket adventure. He was a bit overwhelmed that there were so many toys and he could play with them! Loved the giant Tennis balls but ended up picking his favorite...a giant Kong!

SO happy I stopped here to pick up a bird for my mom. Mike helped my girls and I and gave us great advice on what to buy, what wasn't necessary and what was essential. I walked in CLUELESS and he could have easily loaded me down with worthless purchases. I also witnessed him training a puppy and was thoroughly impressed. He seems really knowledgeable about the different animals there and also seems to care about the animals in the store as well as the customers.
