The Circle K in San Mateo is an embarrassment to the Circle K brand. I visit this location often due to the convenience of being close. They are always out of soda and coffee cups and the coffee brewing area looks unsanitary. The bathroom smell like an open sewer. The over all appearance of the store is below standard at best. When employees are confronted with these issues they are rude and abnoxcious. Replace management and employees, might help.

Once again they have a store manager with no customer service skills!!!! Witnessed Ms Ashley store manager get a slightly hostile attitude with a man who asked a question about a sale on Pepsi.. then she proceeded to kick him out. Stating that he was arguing with her. He was not. I hate self service machines but I'd rather that then this store manager

Normally this is a great store and I would recommend it to everyone. However the current manager is rude and crabby about little things such as extra straw, napkins etc. Plus if you longer for longer than 10 or 15 minutes in the parking lot, she comes out until she can best leave because you're loitering if she's going to call the police. She has a bad habit of dreaming that she loudly across the parking lot accusing you of attracting thieves and criminals if you do not leave the parking lot exactly when she says too. other than that other than when the manager is working the place is nice to have his friendly and I would recommend everyone to go in.

On the night of the crescent moon, my best men and I went into the this station of gas to buy some fine mead. But alas! The mead of our choice wasn't on display. "My lord! Fear not! I can see behind this wall, a hall of mead!" My favorite knight said. "Great eye, lad!" He said happily skipping to the mead halls entrance, but hark a sign posted on parchment stated, "authorized personnel". While I am a person of el, I seemed to lack authorization in this hall. So, my men and I traveled the counter where I was met by the ugliest troll I've ever seen, and she hasn't even turned to face us yet! This may have been my most dangerous battle yet, but I fear not. "Excuse me, ma'lady?" I say shivering in pantaloons but trying best to not show it since i'm positive she can smell fear. She turns to face my men and I, "AH!! YOUR HIGHNESS SHES HIDEOUS!!! PERMISSION TO RETREAT?!!" "NO MEN!!! STAND STRONG!!" I try to play it off with a flirtatious smile and smolder. "What's a princess like you doing working in a stable like this?" She seemed unfazed, Drats!! I cut to the chase, "Ok, may I please have an authorized person of el to fetch the mead from the backhall?" She snatched up one of my men and bit his head off, "RETREAT!! RETREAT MEN!!! QUICK, GRAB THE MEAD!!!" We all managed to escape safely, except for Arthur. But tonight, we drink to him. Finest of the men. Rest easy, Arthur. I will be back to avenge Arthur, be warned Crystal with a C.

The new smart scan at the store is useless the big manager has the employees and store manager forcing customers to use it the store manager Ashley is great and the employees are great but for no reason should Haley be forcing customers to use something they don’t want to use putting that machine in was the worst choice ever

The folks working here, mostly gals, are incredibly friendly and so helpful. Truly a neighborhood store feel! Love this store! These folks make good BBQ sandwiches too.

The manager really shouldn't be in charge of this store. She is really rude and doesn't deserve the spot she has. Much rather deal with the workers that work at this store. I highly recommend not going to this store, rather go to the store at 17&100 ( handyway on the hill)

Usually gas station service is alright but today I got above and beyond service from a guy named Don. He was really professional and courteous. I really felt the need to give him a review because that type of service is rare nowadays and deserves to be recognized when it is given. This dude needs a raise or promotion. He was very friendly and seemed to really love his job. THANK YOU DON - you made my night bro ✌️
