Took my dog for grooming. They called and asked to change the appointment time and I accommodated them... wish I hadn't. Whomever groomed our dog did an awful job, not what we asked for, and will take months to grow out. Took him out with us for lunch today and even our server said, 'that's a terrible haircut.' Never again to this place. Used to have a woman who was great, but she's not there anymore and it's chaos, inconsistent, and in our most recent experience was not good at all. Time for a new groomer.

My score is based on 2 factors;1) The dog grooming prices are insanely overpriced. You can buy a 5 pk at a store down the road for $60 and get 1 Free. They provide 4 types of shampoos, all the CLEAN TOWELS you need and dryers!!2) The smell in the self grooming area is HORRIFIC there is no way a human can stand that smell let alone a dog. The place down the road SMELLS FRESH & CLEAN.3) Super disappointed with the price gouging! $20 we ain’t Rockefeller’s and many of us are on fixed incomes!

ZACH at the Gulf Gate location was running the register and was SO helpful !! We had a few questions about some different brands of food. He knew all the information we needed along with what the sale prices were! He saved us alot of time and money! On top of it what a nice, very kind, young man! Best DIY dog wash in the business ! Extremely well designed stalls with automated shampoo, conditioner and rinse modes, a dryer that actually gets the water off your pooch, and a metal grate system that keeps fido from sitting in the water after you just got him dry.I’ve been washing my own German Shepherds for a long time and this is the best I have ever seen. UPDATE 8/2023 Price has jumped to $20, but it still worth it. This last trip in, the service from the staff was awful, but maybe they were having a bad day…

An employee treated me like I was going to steal one of the dog perfumes because I did a quick spray and sniff of the already opened bottles. Walked up and immediately talked down to me as if I was a child. Train your employees on their customer service skills.

I booked what I thought was a grooming service for dog. I brought him in and was told I didn’t pick what I needed. No problem. I asked the man to check for my mothers dog to see if that was right. It was. I said this is what I would like, what is it called so I can book it. He stated “your mother booked it right, so ask her”. I work in customer service myself and I am beyond mad at the lack of skills this man brings to your business.

My review is really only for the do-it-yourself pet wash. That is great. If you don't want to make a mess at home washing your dog. I bring my own shampoo because my dog has allergies and he needs medicated shampoo, but shampoo and conditioner is provided as well as at least one towel. There are raised bathtubs that you can put your dog into to give him a bath and there is a mechanism that sprays him/ her with soapy water and rinses then conditioner, it's pretty neat. Also, there is a air dry blow dryer that does a pretty good job of blowing all of the water out of your dog's coat. Some dogs really hate this kind of thing but it is a lot easier than using 10 towels. Trying to dry off a wet dog. Now. This service used to cost $15 and now it cost $20 and it's the same service. So that's a 33% price increase that I don't really appreciate. I like it because it makes it so I don't have to make a mess in my bathroom at home, but $20 does seem high for washing your own dog.

The staff is consistently friendly at each visit. They offer to help locate items and make suggestions when I am undecided. Returns are processed easily for store credit or exchanges. The store is clean, organized, well-stocked and free of strong pet odors on the sales floor. Parking is close to the entrance with an easily accessible entry for disabled customers.

We had a funky experience here, First after loads of dead fish hours after buying them, next w bought a Mickey Mouse Platy and two weeks later it had baby platy! We have 13 baby fish born! The staff knew what to do and what we needed, and they helped us all along the process. Although none made it past’ a few days it was a great experience.

They have the best pet training programs here, with Donna. Our puppy graduated from puppy kindergarten here and is moving on to intermediate soon. They also have DIY wash stations which make giving baths to our pets super easy. The DIY station is always impeccably clean! They have a great selection of toys and treats. The collar/harness/leash selection is hit or miss though.

Nope. Once Gigi (stylist) saw my standard sized golden doodle dog was over the age of 10 it was rudely relayed that the salon policy was to not groom “new” dogs. Even though she’s been groomed by Petsmart at home since we first got her. I was informed that I can call Jerry after he gets back from his vacation. But if they treat my girl the way they treated me I am declining to bother with them. And also will no longer buy all her food and goodies there. If she isn’t welcome we won’t go. Brutal!

The only reason I'm leaving a one star is the store manager Randy sincerely apologized for the action of his other managers.Randy, thank for the apology it was greatly appreciated and Donna's offer was super sweet. However, I can't return to a store where I don't feel my family isn't respected and that is souly due to the 2 managers. Not the action of anyone else in the store.
