Went out of my way to stop in here because of the great reviews and because they carry natural and organic food. When I walked in I saw someone in the back and gave a friendly hello- they just stared at me and didn’t say a word. I started browsing the food they had available and eventually someone came to the counter but still didn’t say anything just watched. I asked about some of the brands they carried and with every question I was met with curt, one-word responses. I got the impression that I was imposing on them by shopping in the store and that they were just waiting for me to leave! If you don’t want customers to shop your products you sell then don’t advertise as a pet products store. Also strangely there were no prices on anything. I purchased some food and treats but will take future business to one of the other more inviting small pet stores in the area. Giving the benefit of the doubt that I just caught them at a bad time and because I really believe in supporting small business so giving 3 stars.

Furry Fanatics is a wonderful shop, from the friendly staff to the quality products carried. Monica has cared for my pets in her grooming business (Dapper Dogs) for seven years and I'm so excited that she is now owner of Furry Fanatics. She and her staff know your pet by name and genuinely care about their well-being.

We love Furry Fanatics! Not only do they provide amazing products, they also support their local community. It's rare to step inside a shop and be warmly greeted by the owners. Julie and her team always make us feel special when we shop there and we know they have our four legged friends best interests at heart. Julie and her team exemplify the amazing qualities you can only find in a small business. They carry top rate products and provide them with utmost professionalism and care. They get to know you and your dog and do their dead level best to take care of you both. My 13 year old Weimaraner insists on visiting every day and is always greeted with open arms and an extra cookie or two (or four). More than that, Julie is a staunch advocate for our community and stands up for those members of our community who often can't do so themselves. We are truly lucky to have her here.

Buyer beware!! Very dishonest pet shop! We purchased some cookies for our dog on the way out of town and thought it felt light. When we got home we measured the bag and all cookies on the digital scale and we were charged for 28% more cookies than we got! We took a photo and called the manager, Jasmine, who was argumentative and tried to tell us that cranberry cookies are dense and weigh more. (We weighed the entire bag and all cookies so her argument is completely illogical.) Definitely go to a different pet store where they don't take advantage of tourists!!

Wow what a pleasant experience. Traveling through Santa Rosa we stopped into Furry Fanatics to buy our furry friends a gift to take home . They were so helpful, friendly and professional. We definitely will be stopping by Furry Fanatics on our next trip.

I would give this place a perfect 10. The owner is tremendously helpful in helping in every area. Do not read the naysayers...our dog loves the food she recommended and had organic treats and safe toys! Awesome pet store with helpful folks!

As far as service goes, they did a great job. Unfortunately, Furry Fanatics are fanatic about our furry friends to the extent that they deem animal life as or more valuable to human life. They actively support groups that actively oppose breed specific laws that SAVE THE LIVES OF CHILDREN. Additionally, they have been very vocal in opposing the recent bear hunts intended to thin the exploding bear population to reduce attacks on HUMAN BEINGS. Service? Not a question. The question is whether or not you want your dollars going toward undermining legislation that places human lives above the lives of pitbulls. -TK Bardwell
