We brought our dog Huckleberry in for his unbirthday and he enjoyed shopping at island paws with their friendly staff to assist you if needed. he picked out a yummy dog cookie that he couldnt stop smelling and a chicken chew that he really wanted too. If you bring your family dog to sanibel or just live here, make sure to stop in at Island paws and check them out and Tell the friendly lady that huckleberry sent you, as Huckleberry gets a free gift if he gets 5 referrals, so please tell the friendly lady ownerthat huckleberry sent you so he can get his free gift . thanks in advance. We also got huckleberry magic dust, see picture that you sprinkle on their food and he really likes it. i tested it first to be sure and it wasn't an issue as he tried it and wanted more.

Have visited twice to purchase food for my puppy. The employee (?owner) would do well to at least TRY to be welcoming and pleasant. Very abrupt and absolutely non-engaging when I arrived today with my well-behaved pup on a leash. Purchased $17 bag of dog food and received abrupt service. Other patrons in the store were quite pleasant, greeting me and my dog. Exactly the same type of encounter about three months ago. In fact, on today's visit, we met a delightful woman who visits the island every year (for 20 years). She is a professional groomer and shows dogs. She visits this store every year and when I asked her about the management, she indicated that the employees have "always been like that...rude and disinterested..." Store is fine for food selection, although limited and prices are about 15%-20% higher than big box stores. Nice selection of accessories but markup is quite high. Would not mind if the owners/employees were more engaging. We left today wondering if the woman behind the desk even liked dogs.

The fancy dog treats are a must. Our Newfoundlands LOVED them! The owner also owns the Over Easy Cafe. She took a little prodding to warm up to me, but was super nice and it was my pleasure to meet her.Also, the OEC breakfast and service were outstanding. Try the fruit bowl... We'll surely come back again.

Excellent staff and service. While a small shop, they have everything you need. If not, they are happy to try to locate any products.Highly recommend and personally use them for my dog supplies.Support local!

Great place to get items for your fur babies. Dog, mostly, and cat toys and treats. Could use a bigger cat selection. The service is fantastic! Also a great place to buy shirts and tumblers for Over Easy Cafe.

Lots of parking available. Cute shop. Filled with everything you'd need for your pet and lots of thoughtful gifts. Was easy to find what I was looking for. Very helpful staff with prompt and thoughtful service.

So who doesn't miss their pet on vacation and want to bring them back a little something? Island Paws will ease your guilt. All kinds of cool toys, collars w/matching leashes, treats, mugs, signs/stickers, etc. You can get one of those cool coffee mugs from Over Easy Cafe there too. Welcoming staff.

Lovely find, we loved looking around this shop and got a few really nice items. A must-stop if you’re a pet owner or looking for great gifts for a pet owner. Only thing I would say is it could use a larger cat section.

Would have given five stars but the prices are extremely high. We bought 1 small bag of treats 2 balls and 3 chews. Bill was over 80 bucks. It's a quaint place with items you won't see any where else to purchase but it is expensive.

Island paws. They have such cute shirts for $10 and I got multiple! They have the stronger brand toys such as Zippy paws and go dogs. The cashier who had a bleach blonde pixi cut was not friendly. She didn’t interact with us while we were trying to. She kept watching us like a hawk as if we were going to steal. Wouldn’t let me pick up a shirt without holding it for me. Other than that cute stuff. Would not come back no original designs or multiple products relating to the island.
