I would highly recommend visiting the Clinic for Rehabilitation Wildlife (CROW), if you are interested in wildlife safety, health and rehab. They have an Educational Center with various reptiles, a live viewing screen where various wildlife animals may be treated by the veterinarian staff for an illness or injury. They also have an educational lecture and tour of the clinic and rehab animals. I was able to see a two day baby tortoise, a 15 year old and an unknown age adult one. They have various ambassadors to help with the lectures. My favorite was the armadillo named Billy. Biscuit, the tortoise was pretty cute as well. Staff and educational tour guides were friendly and informative.

Great place to take my home school child for a lesson. Besides the museum the curator will do a presentation at 11. She was pretty democratic about what she presents. We were given a few choices and chose turtles and it was wonderful.

The people here were very helpful and knowledgeable.Turns out it is a young Osprey that made its way out of the nest and couldn't fly yet.My neighbor called me in a panic when she found a large bird on the ground that was unable to fly.We drove to the C.R.O.W. facility in Sanibel rather than dropping it off at Blue Pearl animal hospital.

This wildlife rehab center is well worth a visit. The exhibition has snakes, turtles, an alligator, and lots of information. We were there for a bat presentation, very informative and well presented. The tour included a visit to the hospital facility, and meeting the animal ambassadors. The gift shop has unique gifts.

It was more fun and interesting then I thought it would be. We were only at the presentation with the owl Nina and her care taker. Both were fun to watch and listen to.

It was very educational. Some animals were missing from their enclosures. There was a scavenger hunt. Gigi the Opposum was cute.

My husband and vacation in Captiva and have visited CROW many times. We love this place. Not only do they help rehabilitate wounded birds and animals, they have a wonderful Visitors Center where you can see exhibits about native species. They also offer educational and fun presentations about their current "guests" who may be there temporarily while recuperating or, sadly, may have to live there with permanent infirmities. I got to hold Bashful the possum after learning many interesting things about possums in general. I think it was more fun for me than for Bashful, but I loved it. This is an excellent place to take children, so that they can start to understand the importance of all creatures on the planet and how they fit in with the lifecycle of our earth. Highly recommend to all!

Thay help animals. Wild life. I had a baby raccoon fall from his nest . he was hurt. I took him to the Humane Society but they would not even look at him as a matter of fact they were very rude they sent me to a veterinarian never gave me an address nothing no help so I took him too another veterinarian and they called Crow Rehabilitation and that too took the little raccoon but he died he didn't make it maybe if the Humane Society would have helped him he might have made it I will not give another dime to the Humane Society only two Crow

I'm so glad that I learned about CROW when I found an injured bird and I was surprised to see that they are open 365 days a year! Such amazing dedication to help injured, orphaned and sick wildlife in our area. When I called after finding the bird, they talked me through how to catch and contain the bird on my own and then I was able to drop it off at one of their drop off sites nearby. Very convenient!

Staff was extremely rude! They tell you to bring the animal in. Mind you it was very healthy and happy little guy. They killed it. To check for rabies. Really? It was healthy. No signs or symptoms of rabies. I will never bring another animal to them. Never!!!!

Awesome place of volunteers that rescue hurt or sick wildlife animal! Saw a turtle on 41 and a car ran it over and completely shattered its shell but the turtle was still alive. We took it straight here to c.r.o.w. Where they can operate and treat and hopefully save the turtle but if not at least they can make the turtle comfortable and not feel any pain. Truly an amazing place. We need more places like this in the world!

I've had three animals that needed CROW's help over the years. Two raccoons and a turtle. All were treated and given the attention they needed with care and compassion. Sadly both raccoons were too sick to be helped but I'm grateful CROW took the time to evaluate them and make the best decision for them. The dedication of the staff and board members far exceeds any other wildlife rehabilitation center I've known in my lifetime. CROW truly makes a positive difference.

Consider the entrance fee a donation to wildlife. Small but interesting visitor center. Live video feed from clinic, might see something cool if you are patient.

I called into CROW clinic wildlife hospital about an abandoned baby bird. They were very polite and informative and were able to walk me through the proper steps in getting this bird to the nearest drop off. From there the orphaned animal will make it to the hospital and I look forward to calling in and checking on the status of the bird!

I first became aware of CROW when Ozzie, an American Bald Eagle, was under there care after being injured. I have been a monthly donor ever since. CROW takes care of thousands of animals yearly and is a top-notch organization.
