We lost our family dog, Pearl, on 3/12. I cannot thank the staff enough for being so caring and genuine with helping us with the end of life process. To the lady with long brown hair, you helped me with picking out options for her ashes, thank you. You shared your story about your recent pet loss and it made me feel not alone, I definitely needed that. The nose print, paw print, and heart shaped urn is perfect. To Katie, our groomer, thank you for your kind words when we spoke about Pearl after discussing the new puppy’s haircut.

Boyette Animal Hospital has been taking care of our fur babies for 3 years! We are a military family so we move around about every 3-4 years, finding a great team to care for our fur babies can be stressful at each move. Boyette Animal Hospital has been responsible for providing top notch care for my pets for 10+ years. They provide amazing care, are patient and caring. From regular checkups and vaccinations, to surgeries, blood work, and teeth cleanings, I have never once had an issue with this facility. When it was time to put down my soul cat due to old age and kidney disease, they explained everything and were very patient and sweet throughout the entire process even when I was emotional. They made the process bearable and a little bit less awful. I am beyond grateful for all of the doctors here, the staff, and everyone it takes to keep the place running. I go out of my way to specifically use Boyette Animal Hospital even after I moved from the location as other vets do not provide the same level of care experienced here. Thank you!

I love Boyette Animal Hospital. The family overall is caring and I was excited to bring my pitbull to them. They board her when needed which is hard to find for this breed. She loves coming and gets excited when she sees the building. Everyone is always so kind and attentive. They provide the cutest report cards. The medical appointments have all gone smoothly and I highly recommend bringing your pet to them.

Friendly staff, their boarding is very clean and puts my mind at ease when leaving my puppy with them. It smells good and the kennels have a very nice layout. I personally like that the pups don't interact with each other but can see and still socialize. Definitely would recommend!

Affordable pricing, great care. The staff went out of their way to assist me in picking up my loved one. The is the second year boarding here and I see no where else in my future. You will want to book in advance as they are seemingly always full. No surprise with the excellent service and care provided

My buddy has hyperthyroidism and requires lots of meds to control his blood levels. Care Animal hospital refused to work with us for refills to to be sent directly to the drug store.they preferred the snail mail method sent to us instead or pick it up at their office. This was very inconvenient which caused us to pay a visit to this office I'm so glad we did as they had no problem at all with our request. I'm so greatful for them.

Everyone I encountered at this visit was amazing. The front desk was sweet, and they accommodated me after I was late because of an emergency that came up. They were able to still honor the visit which I so so appreciated.Dr. Chung was knowledgeable and took great care to fully listen to my concerns and do a thorough exam on both my pups.There was no pressure on the treatment plans which I appreciate. They even called multiple times to check on pups. Highly recommend!

Everyone, all the way from the front desk to the vet, was extremely helpful and outgoing. They answered ALL my questions thoroughly and ensured that I was properly taken care of prior to leaving. I did NOT feel rushed at all! Amazing staff for sure. And to make it even better, it was AFFORDABLE!. Definitely found the perfect vet for my fur baby!

Dr. Matt reminds me of an awesome pediatrician. He is so thorough and caring and talks to my “toddler” like she is the cutest little thing. The staff are all great, office is always clean. I love the after 5 pm wellness appointments. We came from a chain vet office and never get to talk to the vet during any of our puppy visits, so this is definitely a nice change.

Amazing vet!!!! Dr. Matt and the rest of the staff were so great to my Smokey baby!! He had a GI blockage and Dr Matt wasted no time getting him in and getting him all fixed up! The care they show was phenomenal! They worked with me throughout the entire situation and continued to check on him after being sent home.Love you all at Boyette Animal Hospital! Took my new puppy Bailey here. Staff and Dr. were all super friendly. They knew exactly who we were when we walked in. Didn't even have to say a name. That shows that they really pay attention and look forward to meeting new comers and welcoming us with open arms. I can't say enough about Dr. Rachel and her team. We have an 80lb GSD who is terrified of the vets. He normally has to be muzzled and sedated to complete an exam and shots due to his fear. Today, Dr Rachel was not only able to do the exam, but also gave his injections and drew blood. She and her team are not afraid to get on the floor with him and help calm him down. Not having to sedate and muzzle him is a huge deal because we left having a positive experience. Thank you so much for taking the extra time for him. It means so much.

Saved my dog's life! After eating a gifted a 1/2 homade oatmeal raisin cookie, we called our doctors here. It was late in the day but they made room for us. Quickly, they made her regurgitate what we thought would be maybe 6 raisins, given it was half a cookie, but first was 8, then up to 16, then up to 21 and finally 28 raisins came up of out little malti-shi-poo. Ran tests and all looked good. Had they not fit us in, this would have ended differently. Thank God for Boyette Animal Hospital!

If you’ve got too much time on your hands, Boyette Animal Hospital is the place for you! You can count on Boyette Animal Hospital making no real effort to see you at the time of your appointment. You’ll wait in the waiting room. Then, you’ll wait in an exam room. The vet will see you after you start contemplating your own mortality.Things weren’t always so bad. We were customers for nearly 6 years, spending thousands of dollars on vet, pharmacy, and grooming services. But the wait times grew longer and longer. Sometimes, we’d be seen an hour later than scheduled without so much as an apology.Just last week, we had a 4 p.m. appointment. At 4:30 p.m., we were still in the waiting room. Knowing we’d have another 20- or 30-minute wait in an exam room, we asked about the delay. Jada, a manager, told us the appointment before ours was for a rabies shot. However, the other customer had shown up with different concerns that were causing his appointment to run long. We told Jada we’d have to leave by 5 p.m. (a full hour after our appointment time), to which Jada replied she had no idea when we’d be seen.Jada explained it is the policy of Boyette Animal Hospital to address all concerns brought up at an appointment, even if those concerns are not scheduled for and addressing them means pushing back other appointments. When we said that was disrespectful of our time and we’d be taking our business elsewhere, Jada made sure to tell us that was fine by her. When we remarked she had not been helpful, Jada gave us a thumbs-up.Our interaction with Jada is representative of the customer care you can expect to receive at Boyette Animal Hospital. Luckily, there are several other vet clinics in the area with better reviews. Do yourself the favor of going to one of those instead.

I would strongly encourage you to not use Boyette Animal Hospital for your pets. On Saturday morning, July 1, Sunny, our GSD, had sudden troubles breathing, standing, and was cold to the touch. We called Boyette, as this was her vet for the past 5 years, and they have Saturday hours. I was told they had no availability for the day. When I responded my dog was dying, I was directed to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital or Fetch Animal Hospital, both an additional 25 minutes from my home. On the way, our beloved, sweet Sunny died in the backseat, likely from a ruptured undiagnosed cancerous mass. While I do not believe it would have changed the outcome, had Boyette seen our dog in an emergency situation, my teenage son would have been spared the trauma of listening to his dog’s last breaths in the backseat of his car and not had to carry her lifeless body into a strange vet’s office. Boyette has a sign on their counter which says emergencies are treated first, yet, they turned my dog—an established patient—away. I went today in person to speak with a supervisor about our treatment and she repeated this nonsense regarding appointments. When I asked why they have this sign posted, I was offered no explanation. I will never bring an animal to this facility again and I would discourage any of you from doing the same.

My kitty had surgery today. I called last night 5 minutes before closing and they got him in the next morning. He was so nervous in the car he got sick on himself on the way to the clinic. They cleaned him up and took great care of him. The vet and techs were so communicative and happy to answer all my questions before and after surgery. They were caring and compassionate.

My fiancé and I just had to make the toughest decision for our baby girl. Our sweet Sadie was on her 7th year of life and she had been fighting back the ill consequences of diabetes, and it was too much for her. Nobody wants to make the decision we did but Dr. Sarah Trimble was there for us with empathy, patience, true care, and answers. I’ve moved around a lot so I’ve had a lot of experiences with veterinarians and she is I think #1 or #2 on my list of favorite doctors. She makes a hugely great difference in the lives of both humans and animals. Thank you Dr. Sarah Trimble for having an amazing heart and treating our beloved ones. Please don’t ever leave Tampa.

We recently had to make the heart wrenching decision to put our 14 yr old Maltese Mia Bella to rest. Dr Nancy and her staff could not have been more compassionate and caring through the whole process. We chose to have her remains cremated with Honor Thy Pet Cremation Services and received a beautiful urn, her paw print, and wildflower seeds to plant in honor of her memory. I couldn’t have asked for a more touching experience.

I brought my puppy in for an extremely swollen leg, and Dr. Matt saw her. He said she had an abscess on her leg, and was able to get drain it and get us medication for her, and now she is as good as new. The prices were extremely reasonable, and Dr. Matt and all of the staff was super nice and helpful. You can tell that everyone at this office loves what they do, and it truly shows I’m their work. Thank you Boyette Animal Hospital!

I was a walk in around lunch time and they had me in and out in about a hr and half. First time there, everyone so nice and helpful and made my little guys first vet visit a great one. He loved it there and normally is scared of anyone he don't know. By the end he made friends with everyone in the office and had that tail wagging as everyone was telling him bye by name. Definitely now our full time vet!! You really feel like they care about making you and your pet feel welcome and comfortable.

No continuity of care. Vets don't read records from prior visits before coming in room to speak with you. We lost a couple kittens that one vet said it might be fip, although we were told they had a upper respiratory infection. Now because we are asking tough questions they decided they won't respond to us anymore. Because we relocated and no longer use them the assistant practice manager Jada said they would not answer because they are helping clients. We've spent a lot of money at this vet with multiple dogs and cats using it. Now they owe me a refund but won't return it. Over $500!!! They also called and gave us bad news about a cat with the same name that wasn't ours. Also they won't work with chewy for meds that they don't sell.

Boyette Animal Hospital and Dr. Audrey was absolutely phenomenal in helping my poor Emma and me during a very rough traumatic experience. After an emergency vet visit, we were informed that my Emma’s eye had to be removed. Her regular vet couldn’t perform the procedure and after calling a few different places, I contacted Boyette Animal Hospital to see if they could perform the surgery. The young lady who answered the phone (I wish I could remember her name - I think it was Amy but not sure) was extremely helpful and compassionate. She placed me on hold and asked questions for me and was even able to give me a ballpark estimate. They were able to perform the surgery that afternoon and were absolutely amazing with Emma and me. They were truly caring and compassionate. I can’t thank them enough for how great they were. Everyone there was so kind. I will be changing Emma’s regular vet care to Boyette Animal Hospital and Dr. Audrey.

We drive over an hour to have Samson & Delilah cared for at Boyette. We ask specifically for Jo and will schedule around her availability because she has an amazing bedside manner and cares for the furbabies as if they were her own. One of the reasons we still come to Boyette is they have always treated us like family. Not everyone has that ability. The receptionist staff clhave their moments but for the most part are good. I've had to ask them to pause while reading instructions for paperwork at record speed and remember that they do this everyday while for some of us it's a first time procedure or being asked certain questions that we want to be sure we clearly understand. Minor things but are still important.
