I love this place. Everyone who works here is so kind and very knowledgeable for the different animals they sell/have products for. I’ve been coming here for years and anytime I have questions the staff is able to answer them and if not they’ve tried to point me in the right direction.I’ve adopted two cats from here as a pair through the rescue they work with and they have been such an awesome addition to my family and I love them so much. The staff at this store is also really passionate about the rescue cats and I absolutely love that.Molly has become one of my favorite employees because she is always so patient with my millions of questions about my new aquarium hobby and she has sooooo much knowledge and experience herself and I think that’s what sets this place apart from the big box stores. All of their tanks always look amazing with healthy fish, I can’t say that I’ve ever come here and seen any of the tanks looking out of order or have dead fish floating around.All of the staff are rock stars and I adore them which is why I will keep coming back 😊

The bath area here is awesome! They have all kinds of included things like shampoos and conditioners, towels and a hair dryer. The water gets warm which is great and it's an elevated tub which makes it easy to bathe your dogs. The only downside is it is almost $15 per dog and some days you need to schedule an appointment due to how busy it is. Overall a great offering from them!

My mom was yelled at and had the worst customer service by an associate Jackie. My mom pressed credit instead of debit on her card (that yes CAN be used to purchase dog food) it’s a prepaid master card through her insurance company. Jackie proceeded to yell loudly “I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS IN MY LIFE THIS SAYS MEDICAID” embarrassing my mother. Regardless of whether or not you’ve seen it before that is not customer service. How she ever became a manager with that attitude I have no idea.

Stopped here since it was closer than the regular pet store I go to. Since this store is smaller than the large brand name pet stores, the dog food choices were limited so I had to settle for a different series of pro plan. The store was clean and the staff was friendly.

Edit: I emailed them right away as soon as they responded to this review and what do you know, they never replied back naturally 🤦‍♀️Bought a bearded dragon from this store and he started displaying severe black beard refusing to eat. Took him to vet had xray,sonogram and bloodwork done and results came back that he has a deadly virus that is highly contagious among bearded dragons called Atadenovirus (ADV) which is equivalent to hiv in humans. Please refrain from purchasing bearded dragons from this store. Cost us over $1,000 !!! And it will only go up as we treat him.

I took my dog Odie there to use the self serve dog wash… made giving him his bath so much easier. They provide shampoo, towels, hair dryer, and wash tubs that are a perfect height. I recommend this to for anyone. I have lower back issues and with my big boy this made bathing so much better for us both.

The store itself is fine! It’s clean, has a variety of items and a station to wash your dogs. However, I purchased a kitten from Pet Supermarket about 2-3 years ago..from Cat Haven Rescue. When I purchased the cat I had a phone interview with cat haven and I mentioned that the kitten was sneezing and had a runny nose. They said it was from stress, it should clear up & if not to let them know in a week. Long story short, weeks passed and my baby would sneeze huge green boogers. They attempted to give medicine but nothing worked…and I did appreciate the help with that. However I’ve had to spend thousands with vets to figure out the issue with my cat. 2-3 years later and he still has boogers, and sneezing problems. Now, I just assumed its because the cat was rescued & maybe he was born sick or got it from the wild. Well, I visited Pet Supermarket today 3/12/22 and I was so shocked to see TWO of the cats in the cages had boogers. Like blowing snot bubbles.. just like my cat does. I feel like Cat Haven really needs to clean the area they put there cats in prior to bringing to Pet Supermarket. It seems like it could be something they are bringing over. The owner of Pet Supermarket should really evaluate the business relationship with Cat Haven Rescue until they can figure out the sickness that’s possibly lingering around. Omg Nicole is the bestMy German Shepherd way stolen in Oregon and after searching for about 6 mo in Oregon we had to leave for Florida. Well about 6 months after being here we got the call she was found in Georgia thank godThank you Nicole for helping us with her hot spot and flees. Very knowledgeable

Prices were very competitive. Front Cashier was super nice and friendly. Offered help and gave suggestions on treat sizes/portions. Have pets there to adopt. Note: It is not suggested to play in cages. Panther Cat reached out to shake my hand. Swoon.

I purchase most of my fish and supplies from this store. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful. The prices are obviously, a bit higher than the internet. But are mostly lower, than the other "chain type" pet stores.

I just did a huge water change on my fish tank which holds over 30 fish, all are peacock cichlids. After doing my water change I noticed I didn’t have water conditioner which put my fish in jeopardy. so I drove to pet supplies plus which I arrived one min before closing. I understand it’s closing time but all I needed was 30 seconds. To save my fish from dying . Pet supplies plus didn’t care. They told me I’m not allowed in even tho it was before 7. I then jumped in my truck knowing pet supermarket has been closed now for 2 min. A sweet young lady saw me out front she came to my truck and asked what I needed, I told her the situation and she allowed me to come in grab what I needed to prevent my fish tank to go south. So not only saved me a lot of money from preventing the fish to die she also gained a regular customer to continue to use pet supermarket. I will drive the extra half mile down the road anytime then to go to the nearest pet store which is pet supplies plus. They lost me as a customer due to their service. I wish I knew the young lady who allowed me to go in and get what I needed she deserves her managers to give her recognition on great service. And deserves to have her name on this review ! Thank you .

Pretty good variety of fish for a chain pet store, but they need more options for aquarium filters and plants. The dog stuff is really pricey but no different than any other chain. Always has great service when I do go though.

I was treated like a thief and a liar! I purchased a new lid for my fish tank earlier in the week. While making the purchase the sales girl was very helpful and knowledgeable. She opened the box and explained how to set up the lid with the LED lights. Then she closed the box and, went to ring it up and dropped the box in the floor. The box didn't appear damaged and she did not seem concerned. I therefore didn't expect there to be a problem. I left the lid in the box as I installed the lights. It wasn't until I put the lid on the tank that I noticed a crack in the lid by the right hood hinge. I boxed the lid back up and took it back to the store today for an exchange. Rick (who waited on me) did a professional job with the exchange even opening the new lid box to make sure it was in perfect condition. However the girl who made the original sale was there and repeatedly stated to Rick (in front of me) "the crack wasn't there when I sold it to her." I will not be returning to this store for future purchases.

Husband and I went to try out the new pet wash . I want to say it was a great experience for us and our fur baby . I would highly recommend . Always helpful and friendly.
