Horrible pharmacy experience. I was told my medications wouldn't be available for days. When I asked if they could find a Wlagreens that had it, the young lady said she'd look. She then told me the pharmacist "had to review" my prescription. She then comes back with my prescription. What?Additionally, the pharmacy also "closes for lunch". Again, what? Wasted my short uncle hour here one day because of that silly policy. Go elsewhere. This is an awful location.

Not even deserving of the one star, the worst pharmacy experience, the hold time is unbelievable if they dont hang up on you. The line wait time at any hour is horrendous. Why are you even open, you are taking up space for nothing. Wish Id sent my Rx to the CVS across the street

No one to answer the phone in the pharmacy. They pick up for a second and put you on hold so they don’t have to deal with you. Horrible service.

Wow! So many negative reviews on this Walgreens location. Let me start by saying that I've never used the pharmacy here. I merely went in to purchase a few items.This store is by far the cleanest and most organized Walgreens I've ever been in. The staff at the register was friendly to me.Their liquor store was an added bonus.Recommended. 4 stars!

They told me my photo order was ready and when I showed up the girl working rudely said "we ain't got the poster our machine is broken" this is the 3rd time something like this has happened here. Terrible customer service and everything is broken. Be warned

The pharmacist does not care for patients at all. She is extremely rude and borderline negligent. I am a registered nurse and I cannot imagine treating my patients the way she treats the patients that come to her pharmacy. Walgreens should be really hiring medical personnel that actually care about people and don’t treat this job like it’s just a job. These are people. If you don’t care about the wellbeing of your patients, then you shouldn’t be in healthcare.

Let’s talk about the racial profiling in the pharmacy. I’ve been filling my script there for years and since it’s a controlled substance I can not fill it else where. The pharmacist wrote all over my script and rejected to fill my script and has no given reason why she is doing this. She called my doctors office and violated my HIPAA rights asking them disrespectful questions about me. I am now seeking an attorney since this is the 4th month they’ve done this to me. The pharmacist had violated my rights and Walgreens still employs her.

This is your typical Walgreens except the liquor store is run extremely poorly. I have been here multiple times before writing this review to make sure I was consistent. There has only been one employee (older white lady) that was nice and simply not rude. I would not recommend.

I would give this pharmacy a negative 20 if possible. Waited in line outside for 45 mins (8 card behind me must have waited for hours) only to have pharmacist, Gerry, insist my new insurance card did not work (completely false as it turns out.)Like so many other reviews, in almost every encounter she has given me false information about my prescription status preventing me from filling my medication on time. Alarming since she knows how unsafe it can be to abruptly stop medication..Def has to be the rudest most frighteningly unprofessional egomaniacal, misanthropic ball of anger working in a customer service/ health care related position.In other words… she hates people, seems especially to dislike minorities, seniors and especially women & clearly enjoys upsetting customers. Walgreens.. are you even checking on your employees?**If you want a fast, professional pharmacy or just prefer to give your business to a friendly staff -GO TO CVS ACROSS THE STREET!! Okechobee & Military. Every person working in CVS pharmacy is friendly, compassionate & trying to do a good job, like most of us!

DO NOT SHOP HERE! This store may be committing fraudulent activity. My brother purchased a gift card for my birthday. I opened the card and the security code was scratched off. I went to the store to buy some mints and absolutely nothing happened,as if the card was not activated at all. My brother and I went to this Walgreens to speak with a manager and Josh told us to call Vanilla. He did check the camera footage to confirm that the cashier didn’t switch the cards during the transaction, so i’ll give him that. We checked other cards on the shelf and found that other cards had mismatched numbers and scratched off security codes as well. Josh did not take the cards off of the shelves. Josh did not call the police. Josh ran away to the back of the store. We called Vanilla and they were not helpful either. Luckily Vanilla was able to issue a refund which will take 3 weeks. Someone is likely tampering with the packages and no one seems to care. I will not shopping at this store unless it’s a complete emergency.

Very awful… unprofessional and they don’t know what they are doing. Had several prescriptions sent at different times the experience has been bad. They never have anything ready and don’t call to let you know if something isn’t right with the prescription. Choose another pharmacy not this one!I will definitely be changing pharmacy no one has time to deal with rude people. They don’t care about the people’s health.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was just denied my prescription because the pharmacist didn't feel like filling it. I have severe panic attacks and I regularly take alprazolam for them, and not taking the meds I take every day is severe and life-threatening and I had to go to the ER for a seizure. She filled all of my other medications except for that one. She lied and said there was a law where you can't fill controlled substances from a doctor unless they are within a 5 mile radius. I used to work as a pharmacy technician, I know that's not a law. So when I called her out on it, she said she just didn't want to fill it. She could've at least called the doctor to verify the information, the script didn't even have refills. She's acting like the prescription was for Dilaudid and had 10 refills. I didn't get the pharmacist's the name but she was a heavy set white woman.

All I did was subtly mention how I waited 2 hours for a COVID test and vaccine. Pharmacy technician Neesha acknowledged it took that long and rudely told me “Well, you see how I’m working the drive-thru AND helping customers inside?? Yeah? OK then!” And in the end, I was denied service because I was exposed to someone with COVID three weeks ago (I’m asymptomatic). Been a customer of Walgreens for many years and I’ve worked in retail pharmacy myself. Never seen someone treat patients this way especially when they’re not being unruly. Walgreens is still decent for the most part, but I would not recommend this location to anyone. Service was slow; service was poor. Negative attitudes don’t make the situation better.

The pharmacy is a nightmare. I’ve been coming here every 30 days since 2019 and within the last year this is the WORST this place has ever been. I always without a doubt wait in line for at least 45mim and walk away empty handed because my time sensitive medication is NEVER READY. Just last week I was told “we don’t have nothing for you” but when I listed the 3 medications I came to pick up they told me to come back later that day…. So do y’all LIE or just not properly read patient info. As if that’s not bad enough they have rude entitled attitudes which I definitely don’t tolerate so I’m sure they have notes in their system about me. Im surprised I haven’t been banned from this location for the amount of arguments I’ve had with their pharmacist. I love this Walgreens because it’s always clean and fully stocked with friendly and fast cashiers at the front. But that pharmacy is dead weight to the company’s reputation. At this point if I continue to go it’s just destroying my own sanity.

Go literally anywhere else. Anywhere else. I made an appointment for flu shot at 3pm. A family arrived shortly before me as a walk in appointment and were sitting down doing their paperwork. I stood in line, as the only person in line, for 15 minutes. One woman was in front of me trying to get her medication and super frustrated. We watched as a pharmacy tech proceeded to avoid her, beg other techs to talk to her, and even hid between the shelves. He walked up to me to check me in but just stared at me until I asked if I could check in. He had 0 idea what was going on and then asked me if what type of flu vaccine I was getting - Pfizer or Moderna? The flu vaccine? what even. Then told me I would be waiting 45 minutes. I had an appointment at 3. I told him to cancel it and left. absolutely ridiculous. All other pharmacy techs were standing against a wall - it seemed like they were doing something but I don't know.This is the 3rd time I have had a terrible pharmacy experience at this location. Not just a one off issue.The rest of the staff in the store was very nice.

At a loss for words with the encounter we just experienced! Our dental office has been opened for 30+ years. We write prescriptions ALL DAY long!!It is the evening, we were getting ready to finish up when we received a call from a patient of ours who just had an invasive dental surgery procedure. This patient was given an RX for amoxicillin & ibprofen.The pharmacist REFUSED to fill it and told him it was printed on "the wrong paper". The "paper" she is referring to is required for NARCOTIC rx's!I asked the patient to have the pharmacist give us a call so we can authorize over the phone and get him going home to rest. (pharmacists call here all the time to confirm information if needed). Again, she refused and said she was 'not allowed' to call.As a courtesy to our patient, I took the time to call there myself, which takes an excessive amount of time to actually get them to pick up the phone. When she answered the phone, I introduced myself from the office and expressed that she had my patient there looking to fill his rx, but she is telling him that it is not the correct "paper". She simply responded with "yes, and you KNOW that!"..... that reply, from a professional in a pharmacy, completely caught me off guard! I proceeded to explain to her, that information is INCORRECT, as the rx is simply an antibiotic and ibprofen! She continued to argue, and when I suggested that maybe she was new and unaware of such, she said "GOOD BYE" and hung up the phone on me! I was NOT able to get my patient's prescription authorized for him, resulting in him going to a different pharmacy.HORRID, HORRID store. The rest of these reviews on here speak for themselves, clearly.

Manager Trey is a STAR!!! His support staff are friendly and super nice. So glad I spoke with him and let him resolve my problem in the pharmacy. Walgreens is very blessed to have such a fine manager!

I used this Walgreens for my booster shot. Had an appointment at 3pm. 6 people were waiting in front of the patient room. After 35 minutes of NO ACTIVITY and no movement, I and two other persons started questioning about the time frame. Some people had an appointment at 2.15 and after over one hour were still waiting to receive the shot.Apparently the woman in charge of vaccine had left while a lot of people were waiting for their appointment.The two employees behind the counter were unfriendly, obviously unhappy and not trained properly to serve the extra patients.This is unacceptable.

The Pharmacy staff was rude and had no customer service skills. Came through the drive thru and provided all the information needed to transfer my prescription from one pharmacy to the next, the tech took down all the information, received a text regarding my prescription and came to pick up 2 days later when I got here they told me the prescription was not in the system or my information. I was livid, they had no answers as to why and showed no compassion, I will never fill another prescription at this location.

I’ve never experienced such a slow pharmacy. Very understaffed, it’s a problem. I thought at first it was a pandemic thing, but reading back some of these reviews from 3 years ago shows that it’s just always how it’s been… they need to get it together!Not to mention, I get to the window after such a long wait and my script isn’t even ready so they tell me to come back tomorrow! They had already notified me that it was ready??!

I have been coming to Walgreens pharmacy since the late 1990s for my meds and refills. Over the last 3 to 5 months. I started to notice that my refills are never ready as scheduled and the customer service was not as efficient compared to the QUALITY of service that I had received in the past. However, on 10/25/2021 approx @ 10: 40am was my worst experience that I had to report it. The female pharmacy counter clerk and the female Pharmacist both were rude, disrespectful. and did not show an ounce of concern that I had no answer or time as to when I should return to receive my meds; although my Dr. sent approval the prior day. They sent me away twice (via phone and drive-thru). So, I had to 3 way call the Pharmacist and my cardiologist office for them to tell her that my dr. efiled the approval Sunday at 7:58am the day before. For something so important, both of them showed NO CONCERN OR EMPATHY. The pharmacy personnel at this specific Walgreens location level of service has increasingly become very, very bad/poor.Walgreens Mgmt. and corporate office, please address this issue. We know some companies are short staffed, but it's HOW these ladies treated me and its customers. We don't care about waiting in long lines, just treat us with respect. Thank you.

First I’d like to say this has nothing to do with the store aspect, it is towards the pharmacy. I’ve been using this pharmacy for a while, it is close to where I live so it’s convenient. I’ve been having a medication filled called phentermine, it is something to help with weight loss. I’ve never had a problem filling it until I had an encounter with a pharmacist I had never seen before. She was short, with dark hair about collar bone length. This incident happened march 27, 2022. I am a woman with PCOS, it is very difficult for me to lose weight, I don’t lose weight like a “normal” woman does. She gave me a big problem filling it because she said my bmi was to low. I am 5’5 and a half, my weight is at 166. I want to lose another 30 pounds or so to reach my goal weight. Which is between 130 and 135. Well this pharmacist was very rude asking me what health conditions I had, which she should know by looking in her system. Not only do I have PCOS, but my pcos caused me to be a type 2 diabetic. I explained all of this to her. My doctor wouldn’t prescribe me this if she thought it would be dangerous for me. I’ve been doing really well on this medication and lost about 95 pounds so far. She wouldn’t fill it and said she had to call and speak to doctor Nam about it. I proceeded to tell her I don’t see doctor Nam I see Sharon Johnson or Abigail. I also told her the nurse Christie knows me very well and she can speak to her. She refused and said no I have to speak to Doctor Nam. He doesn’t know me at all. The next day it was around 11 am I call the pharmacy and asked to speak to the pharmacist. She gets on the phone, I asked her if she called my doctors office yet because she said she’d call first thing in the morning. I was out of the medication at this point. She still hadn’t called and told me she’d do it soon and call me back. What a damn joke. I never heard back from this pharmacist, excuse my language here but she was a B*tch. I called my doctors office to see what was going on and they told me she called, the nurse Christie tried speaking to her and she would not speak the nurse who has known me since I was 17 years old. She would not talk to my doctor, Sharon or Abigail. She would only speak to doctor Nam who has no idea who I am. So it is now April 3, 2022 and I still am without the medication that has helped me lose this weight. This pharmacist didn’t even know what PCOS was. She seriously needs to educate herself. There are all different types of pcos. I can not eat for a whole day, but if I’m stressed, I can gain 2 pounds over night. It’s sad. I’ve been stressed because of everything with this pharmacist and I gained 3 pounds already. Phentermine helped me because it increases your heart rate and you sweat more and burn more calories. It also helps curb your appetite so that those cravings for sweets goes away. I didn’t plan on being on this medication for the rest of my life. Once I reached my goal weight my doctor was switching me to something else. I recommend not using this pharmacy at all. Not only is that certain pharmacist nasty and rude, but you’ll never receive a call back, and the lines to pick up and drop off are ridiculous. I will not be going back there. I am having all my medication transferred somewhere else. It’s sad when a pharmacist isn’t educated and doesn’t listen to the person who knows their body and knows all about the medication they’re taking. I’ve had blood tests run, an ekg, I get checked all the time to make sure I am ok to be on phentermine. It has never raised my blood pressure or caused any issue for me. She should have spoken to MY doctor or the nurse who’s known me since I was 17. Like I said this pharmacist is rude and definitely won’t call you back if you’re looking for an answers from her.

I believe there is a problem with pharmacy service almost everywhere but this is ridiculous! I won’t go into details but this pharmacy is a mess. The other low reviewers covered anything I could say. I’m saddened that myself and others I watched had to go through these horrible dilemma for medications. The pharmacy staff does not respect anyones time of feelings. They treat customers as though we are sh*t so save your time avoid this pharmacy.

This Walgreens location is OKAY. HOWEVER, the drive thru pharmacy is the absolute WORST EVER ! Today I went there and like other several times I. The past and I ALWAYS have to wait about 20-30 mins . Today was ridiculous I tried to get my son medication and was stuck in the line for almost 40 mins ! I had to ask the lady behind me if she could back up so I can leave . They really need to work better and faster on accommodating customers they have to sit there for over half an hr. It’s always the same issue ALWAYS. It’s truly ridiculous and so unprofessional. But I’m sure they wont do anything about it cause several ppl have already complained about the same exact issue .

Thanks for NOT answering the phone ever!!!!They changed my contraceptive pill without telling me when the Dr specify i cannot take any other brand or generic! So instead of telling me they didn't have the brand pill that i use, they just gave me whatever they wanted and charged me for 3 months refills when i usually buy one month refill. I obviously won't take this contraceptive that they gave me, they wont changed it or give my money back! So irresponsible and unprofessional. Be aware of what you are paying and receiving before leaving this place. I can't believe how this people feel the right to do what they want with your medicine, time and money. JUST DON'T COME TO THIS PHARMACY!
