Employee's at this store were amazing! My wife and I stopped there because she was overheated from a bike ride. They gave her a chair to sit in, some cold Gatorade and Hope gave me a ride to my car so I could get her home. Thank you Hope, you were awesome! We are new to Florida and this just insures how awesome it is here.

It was nice to be greeted with a smile as well hello ladies welcome to the Dollar General let me know if you need anything! very clean and organized and there was a good display of product's Darcy was very helpful in assisting me with finding thing's I went in there for like cleaning products and seasonal decor plus dry goods etc. Overall it was a pleasure!! It would be nice to see more store's that friendly and helpful and fronted so you can see what you went in for as well purchase more because it's on the shelf not on a pallet in a back room!

No cell phone reception so you can not get on phone for your coupon apps etc. Lady that was working there was nice though and had everything i was looking for. Store was clean and shelves were stocked. It is one of the nicer stores i have been in but it is also reasonably newer. Unlike some dollar general stores i did not see clothing items though. You can only get in and out on the side road by the store and not the main road.

Great employees at this location! Always friendly and apologetic for any wait at the cash. Really like this spot.Edit: Still like the store but there's a woman named Bobbie there who makes things uncomfortable and treats you like a thief everytime you go in. Asking to hold your backpack if you have one (while none of the other employees do) and eyeing up your pockets. Kinda weird to be that invested in a store you don't own and definitely doesn't care that much about her. And just to be clear I've never stolen anything from Dollar General. So in short, get a life Bobbie and chill out a little.

Clean, friendly staff, lots of signage hanging from the ceiling. The pleasantness ended there.Merchandise was unorganized, not well-labelled, and often positioned nowhere near the corresponding label. It looks like no employee has toured the aisles lately, looking for orphaned items that need to be returned to their correct spot. Lots of empty sections of shelving.Prices are no better--usually worse--than the same or comparable items at Dollar Tree or Walmart.

Out of many items, no carts available with only 3 other shoppers in store. 3 staff workers, one of them a manager who stands idly by and watches customer struggle with heavy item, neglected to offer help, empathy or any form of pleasantries to customers during visit. Worth driving to Salford Rd store.

Kindly and quick customer service at Nokomis store -- Tracey and Shelly understand that older folks need help: Can't reach? Leave your card in the slot because you CAN'T HEAR the beep. Can't tell how bright this refrigerator light will be. These aren't for me. How much is this gum?

Adore all the friendly staff. Thrybt very underpaidThry literally go out of their way and treat even the old crochity people with kindness. I do have my favorite store and they're a great bunch of people,!!!! 😁👍

I changed my 5 star to a 1star. Place has falling so below average, service is terrible, staff is rude. I stopped shopping here and now go to the one off Venice Ave.

Stopped to get can of coffee cause Walmart is to crazy with covid. Most people including employees not wearing mask correctly, remember cover nose and mouth.

I know this sounds crazy but this seriously happened 1 cashier 6 people in line and a woman in front of us decides to seriously get 69 free Air fresheners which the cashier had to ring up individually and made us all wait to check out several customers walked out of the store refusing to wait The cashier tried to be nice but the reality of the situation was that she had a procedure to follow and the customer who was getting the free air fresheners was not polite in any way putting this cashier in a badd situation The cashier was very apologetic and it really wasn't her fault but
