The question was why do you go to Per Paradise- of course The staff! It is nice to know I have somewhere safe for my XL dog to go and a know that she is loved. You’re missing out if you have not used them for day boarding, grooming and sleepovers. If I could leave a 10 star review I would.

Hannah has been grooming our dogs (almost 3yo) probably about two years now. Not only does she do a great job with the groom, but she is so kind and patient with our guy that gets a bit too excited and needy. She is the best!

My wife and I have taken our Great Pyrenees George to Pet Paradise multiple times over the past 6 months and each time has been a worry free experience! We are always able to book George for 1 on 1 time with the care takers since he gets a little overwhelmed in large groups and they’ve made it so easy for him to get acclimated with the facilities. Every employee we’ve ever spoken to has been super helpful and the manager Tess always checks in with us to make sure we had a good experience! I can’t recommend Per Paradise enough!

The staff are really nice here but the service overall was subpar; They forgot some add ons to my dog’s boarding package. The vet that is advertised as part of Pet Paradise has a sign on it that says they’re closed starting March. It’s a nice place if you’re only expecting the normal amenities of a boarding facility.However, the grooming here is mediocre and unclear about what they’re going to accomplish. I paid $75 for a mini groom for my 60 lb dog, and he had knots the next day already. Gave them the feedback for the follow up call they did, and they said it’s because the mini groom only covers the head, paws, and sanitary region. In that case I guess he only got washed in those areas too? I would have paid the extra $10 for the complete groom if I knew the bath/brush out was only for certain parts the body. The website description only differentiates the two by how much trimming will be done. My dog never has problems with knots after any normal grooming session. I was only doing a maintenance brush on him the next day and was quite annoyed having to get knots out already.I’d bring my dog back here if I needed to for boarding or day care, but I wouldn’t recommend doing the grooming.

My boys had an absolute blast at their first day of daycare at this location!! The manager was so amazing and friendly! They found the perfect playgroup for both of my boys to play in together. We got pictures and a report card for their first day! We will be back!

This was my first time boarding my pet and I was quite anxious to leave my senior dog in their care. The staff was friendly and helpful, they really seemed to care about the animals entrusted to them which gave me comfort.The webcams in the play areas helped relieve a lot of my anxiety as I could watch my pup play and be happy whenever she went out. I also bought the picture package which included a daily “report card” for my pet. These report cards are extremely detailed and each one is unique. I loved reading them as they were quite entertaining and the behavior described in the report is very typical of my pet. I also loved seeing the photos of my pup having a great time.I thought the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

My dog loves staying here and is depressed to come home with me lol. When she first stayed there, I got pictures describing her stay there and for an additional cost you can continue to do this for other stays. The price was perfect for me and I’ve already boarded her on three separate occasions and had a great time.

Excellent care. So impressed with the staff and their true care for the dogs in residence. Extra measure of cleanliness and diligence to keep your pup safe. Loved the video so we could see our shepherd in the play yard each day. Highly recommend this facility.

The vet here is terrible. They’re extremely unreliable and gave my pup a STRONG ear infection medication that quite literally can cause facial paralysis (which I’ve been told by my new vet was entirely unnecessary and much too strong). I was never informed of the possible side effects of the medications they administered without my consent, and I had a VERY difficult time getting ahold of them for instructions on administering meds. Why would they send me home with meds and not give me instructions? Insane. I’ve booked appointments with the vet twice before and when I showed up, was informed that the vet was “not in today” and I’d have to reschedule. I live 40 minutes away- ridiculous. I’ve had bad experiences with the staff up front (they told me my angel of a puppy was “aggressive” which had NEVER been the case… makes me wonder what they did to make her growl) and quite frankly, I don’t trust this place at all. For as expensive as it is, the customer service is shockingly bad. I will NEVER be returning. Be careful with who you let care for your best friends.

The Gainesville location always feels like home for both me and my pup!! As ant dog owner, I’m always nervous dropping Finley off for boarding because you never know how your fur baby will act when you’re not around. But when I bring Finley in the staff makes me feel so comforted and makes my dog feel so loved! My sweet girl needs a little extra patience and TLC then others, but the staff is so incredibly accepting and willing to always go the extra mile for her care. 100/10!!!

It is the worst hotel for dogs I have ever been to in my life, I am really disappointed that I chose them. My babies stayed 5 nights and not one day when I checked the cameras did I see them outside, they were locked in all the time, I called to tell the staff and they told me the perfect excuse that they had taken them out very early in the morning but that's not the case because I checked the cameras. After picking them up, one of my dogs started having diarrhea all night and vomiting. It worries me a lot because he never gets sick, he's probably been sick for days and no one in the place could tell me anything and they are supposed to have a veterinary team.

We dropped Lady off at the pet resort for a couple of days so she could have some doggie time. We love Pet Paradise and so does she. Daily pictures and report cards. Ice cream and swim time. Totally recommend this place! ❤️ #spoileddog #petparadise

If I could give 0 stars I would. Most of the front desk reception employees are very nice and welcoming. However the policies they have are the worst I have ever heard. The prices are RIDICULOUS especially a dog that is still intact. I am also pretty sure most of the bad reviews for this specific location has received were from pet owners with small dogs. If you have 2 dogs and one has to have 1 on 1 and the other group play and you specifically ask 3 times they play together during 1 on 1 and told YES each time, then watch the cameras and they don't definitely upset from being lied to.Dogs that are intact get what they call 1 on 1 play time. When really it's the dog just sniffing around and running by them self. Every employee who is suppose to play with these dogs spends the whole whopping 15 minutes on their phones. I have watched this on camera. They don't throw balls or even interact with the dogs. It's very uncaring. Most of the time 1 on 1 dogs only come out of their cage 1 time ALL day long. Crazy if you ask me. And $60 a day that's even worse. I am not just referring to one of my dogs either. I am referring to others dogs as I mentioned I watch the cameras.This location also seems to be dogcist like racist for humans. They favor the bigger dogs over the smaller dogs. Watch the cameras all day to see all the big dogs out multiple times a day yet the small ones especially puppies caged up all day and let out 1 time in 8 hours for 20 minutes. Really!!!Sorry but I have a job where I can log in and watch the cameras all day something NEEDS to change. Hire more employees. Be fully staffed on your busiest days. You know what the busiest days are so staff up. My dogs are better off staying at home not locked up all day. I would have pulled my dog had I not paid for 10 days thinking my puppy would be cared for when in reality they aren't. I knew I would not get any money back seeing as your policy is to charge more money for an early drop off. For what the dog to sit in a cage all day.Never ever will I use this place ever again!!!!

Clean facilities. Very friendly staff. However I did not like that my Luna was kept in her cage almost the whole day during day care. I watched all day long on camera and only saw her outside once for a little a bit. They should honestly play for at least 4-5 hours a a day for the price but really only get like an hour. For that, I prefer to leave Luna comfortable at home not in cage, and have a friend walk her once at lunch on the daysy schedule is hectic/long

I was very pleased with Pet Paradise for the first 3 weeks I took my dog there for doggy day care. However, following employee turnover things started to change, one afternoon when I went to pick up my dog they couldn’t find her. I tried to brush this off but decided Pet Paradise was no longer the place for my dog after I was humiliated in their lobby accused of bringing my dog in when she had kennel cough. I told the girl Pet Paradise was the only place she is around other dogs so she had to have gotten it from them to which she responded “dogs can spread it and be asymptomatic” so basically I was humiliated even though there is a dog still there spreading it.

River (right of the black dog) went to doggy daycare at Pet Paradise in Gainesville last week for the first time. He loved it and we loved him too. He came home one pooped out pup and totally enriched. Great place and the staff is totally amazing. I highly recommend it.

Made an appointment for day care which was unilaterally cancelled by email several days later. When I called, I was told that the cancellation was in error and was rebooked. Days later, again I get a unilateral cancellation, again by email. This time, when I call, they tell me that they are full on the day we needed care. They had 2 opportunities to tell me that when I scheduled and then rescheduled. Now we are scrambling at the last minute to find some help for the day, as we have plans. Thanks for nothing, Pet Paradise!

My wife and I have been bringing our dog, Hurley, to Pet Paradise in Newberry, FL for years. The way the courteous staff pampers him is wonderful, and the abundance of space allowed for each pet is perfect. We never have to worry about Hurley when he is there.

I don't think I could ever say enough good things about this place. We bring our dog Cooper to day camp 4 days every week while we are at work. He is always so excited to get there and comes home happy and tired every day. If you ever watch the cameras you can see the staff playing with the dogs all day, there is hardly ever any downtime. They have a pool and sprinklers for when it's hot out, they have shade and indoor kennels, and they try to do anything they can to accommodate. Everybody is very friendly and helpful and they have a discount for UF employees. Top notch place.

I liked the facility, it was clean and the large dogs looked happy outside in the play area. I didn't see any small dogs out when I was there or on camera, but they did provide a picture of my dog in the outdoor play area so he did get out there. I would prefer more outdoor cameras so we can see all over the outside. My dog happened to be roomed in the middle of the row where he couldn't be seen on any of the cameras. There also wasn't an upgrade option to have him placed into a room with a camera, as those rooms are reserved for vip boarding. Not being able to check in on my dog visually bothers me a lot so I probably won't be leaving him here for more than a half day. Charge upgrades don't bother me so it would be nice to at least have the option.

Absolutely love Pet Paradise and the veterinarian office. The people are super friendly and my dog is always coming back, super healthy and happy. We had a horrible experience having to leave her a different place for Thanksgiving because P.P. was fully booked and she came back lethargic, dirty, scratched up and completely different, in which we had to take her to the vet... It was at critter boarding in Springhill, they did have great reviews a few years ago, but if you search for recent reviews (not on Google) they are horrible.

My dog absolutely loves this place. I have never seen him so excited to be somewhere!! The love these employees have for the animals is beyond noticeable. They know Matzo Ball as soon as he walks in and are sad to see him leave. Thank you for being the best day care facility in town!

We usually love leaving our dogs at pet paradise but this location left us disappointed. Had our dog in a VIP suite for an overnight stay and quickly realized he was not getting any group play time when we asked for group play AND one on one. When we picked him up the employee informed us he got group play and individual, we questioned them on this as we didn’t see him on camera with other dogs this was when they informed us he did not play with other dogs because he was in tact when our dog is in fact neutered! I questioned who was verifying this information as his profile clearly states NEUTERED. Employees apologized but we felt the damage was done. If we did not have the VIP camera we would have never known he was in the room all day/night. If we wanted our dog locked in a room we would have kept him in our hotel, we paid for this so our fur baby could have a good time and play with other dogs. Like I said, we love pet paradise but this location dropped the ball.

While the facility is quite nice, overall my experiences were not satisfactory. I took my dog to daycare there due to convenience as they were the fastest one I could get him into. But do not even bother trying to contact someone on the phone, you will either be transferred to a call center or put on hold for 20 minutes just to be sent to voicemail. I should have known, as friends of mine who work in the pet care industry in Gainesville told me to avoid Pet Paradise completely.The employees do not seem to care about their jobs very much, and are not able to follow simple communication requests regarding contacting you about your pets health in the case of an issue. And when mentioned later, will become argumentative.Not only that but I have had extra grooming done while he was in daycare, and was charged for a different service than I requested. Which conveniently cost more money on my end.I have dropped my dog off at multiple different times and rarely see the dogs not in cages, and when I check the cameras they never seem to be in the play yards or pools. For the ridiculous prices they charge for daycare, I would have expected better service. I will be taking my dog to another facility in Gainesville that actually cares about the animals they are in charge of.

I don't think I can say enough good things about pet paradise. My baby just turned 2, and she is a skittish girl. However, the staff made her feel very comfortable. They offer a free first day of camp, which allowed my dog to get used to everything, so when it was time to board her, she was ecstatic! It was very comforting to get a report card and be able to watch her on the webcams at any time. They have lots of space, by the time I got my dog back, she slept for like a week! They are amazing, and well worth the price. So glad I found Pet Paradise!
