Absolutely magnificent! The staff is kind, Dr McCormick is knowledgeable and patient, and the environment is clean and welcoming. I've recently moved to the area and have a senior dog with a few health issues - Newberry Animal Hospital welcomed my pup Poe and I with open arms! Dr McCormick was so sweet, even when delivering bad news, and took the extra time to explain next steps and treatment plans. So glad I found this location and will definitely make this our primary clinic moving forward!

Jess and Dr. Jane we're awesome with my two dogs during their annual check up. They were patient and caring with one of my dogs who was extremely anxious and scared during the visit. I highly recommend this team of professionals.

My mom has gone here my whole childhood, and now it’s my turn haha. I took my cat here due to fleas. The staff was so loving and kind. They reassured me more than I could have asked for. They prescribed something cheaper than I expected for the fleas. It was super effective. I haven’t seen any since. If an issue occurs again, I’ll be brining my animals right back here. Very thankful for their team.

Nice facility with friendly staff. I just loved the welcome sign out front :) I also like that there are several locations in case we have an emergency and need to be seen quickly. Thank you for the follow up the day after our appointment. I was actually surprised to get a call, I assumed if all was well with bloodwork we just move on, but the tech called with follow up. We absolutely love Dr. Smith! She is knowledgeable, handled our Fluff ball German Shepherd so well, great advice, all concerns addressed. Thank you for all you do.

When we arrived at Newberry Animal Hospital for the first time, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles and caring people... and throughout our many visits to this location, the feeling of compassion and caring has never lessened. Fiona (our 3-1/2 year old standard black & white parti colored purebred poodle) loves coming to this facility... and she especially likes all the friendly staff members she sees... and the way they fawn over her too! Dr. Mathers is wonderful and treats Fiona with honest care and compassion... and works with us to get a better picture of what brings Fiona in to see him. The technicians are equally special and compassionate with Fiona's care and issues. Even the front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. We especially like the way that Dr. Mathers and the technicians will explain everything to us, before any treatment is begun, including cost and will explore less expensive options if available, without risking Fiona's well being. I meant to leave a review months ago, but life happens, as they say, but this veterinarian practice deserves kudos for providing an exceptional place to manage your pets health needs. HIGHLY recommend them!

BEST VET EVER! I love this vet office. I got my Willow (cat) at the Humane Society of North Central Florida and she was a mere two months old. I would go to this vet forever if I hadn't moved out of state. We boarded Willow here many times as well. The staff is just the best. I highly recommend this location! :)

Picked up my dog from boarding smelling like urine and all sticky on her underside. I understand my dog is young and can have accidents but thats no excuse for leaving her caked in urine which could easily lead to a hot spot or skin infection given her thick coat. Didn’t tell me on pickup i noticed and they didn’t even call me to ask if i wanted a bath before pickup which i would have gladly paid for. Seems like they are staffing kennel attendants that are not truly looking after your dog or aware of their conditions. Would never board at this location again.

Staff are very friendly and compassionate towards pets. Dr. Mathers and Dr. Orange are exceptional, both with their knowledge and with their 'bedside manner'. This animal hospital is what all animal hospitals should be like.

The staff at Newberry Animal Hospital are awesome and friendly. We just moved to the area and was the first visit for my cat. The facility is very clean and neat. Will be moving to Trenton in a few days but still plan on using NAH for our primary vet.

We have been bringing our pets here since 2005. The doctors and staff are very competent and friendly. We board our dog Gizmo with them when she can't travel with us. We have also used their clinic off of 39th St.

For my most recent experience, dropping what otherwise would be five stars by one.In grimly quick succession my wife and I lost three older rescued dogs to cancer. Two were euthanized, including my wife's beloved dog whom she adored, and another was my girl, a pit shepherd mix, who passed suddenly one evening due to heart failure as she was on the decline with terminal liver cancer.In my wife's case her dog spent his last days at Newberry Animal Hospital, and while we are super fans of their holistic, comprehensive care and sticking with the customer to give as much of a fighting chance, sparing no expense, as possible, there's one critique from this latest experience, with our senior little dog who's begun having a few acute health issues.Whether it's habit or standard practice, the clinicians seem to tend to want to deliver the worst case first. We had arranged with a dear friend to transport our sole survivor, complete with meticulous notes my wife wrote up, instructions, and with our friend's understanding to convey the vet's details to us upon their return. Not only did the vet brief our friend, but they also called my wife directly to give that worst case first briefing.In her I saw unfold similar signs of the lead up and aftermath to putting her boy down. Part of why we strive to get friends to take our pets to that vet, specifically, is to spare my wife from reliving that trauma. Unfortunately, the vet's briefing sent her down that rabbit hole of grief and loss.Maybe use what in project management circles is called bottom line up front aka "BLUF", to describe the pet's current status and where to go from here to treat the acute issues and not start with the most dire possibilities. While I myself am living dead and still consumed by my own loss these days and am unsure how long I'll choose to linger in this state, she is normally an optimistic, far happier person, and it pains me to see her replay those painful events needlessly, again.So, I suggest saving the worst for the last possible moment, when all hope is lost.

The doctors are really good. They take very good care of my dog. They always look for the best way to treat your dog. My dog had bladder stones and instead of having surgery they put her on medication therapy which is cheaper and a food diet and the bladder stones are gone. They treat you like a family at Newberry animal hospital. I would definitely recommend them.

I’ve been a customer and my fur babies have been patients of Newberry Animal Hospital since December of 2019. Over the past few years they’ve been phenomenal in every aspect. They are so understanding when I have to change my appointment last minute and never ask why. They work with me and my budget. They are honest and look at every possible thing before diagnosis! I’ve seen a few vets there but by far my absolute favorite is Dr. Shaw. The first time I ever met with her she went above and beyond answer all my questions and never once acting annoyed or rushing me.As for techs Shelby is always amazing but I haven’t seen him for a little while.If you’re considering taking you animals babies here I highly recommend it! 😊

Newberry Animal Hospital is absolutely wonderful! My dog, Ruby, has been a patient since she was a puppy and I would never take her anywhere else! All of the vets are wonderful but Ruby has seen Dr Long for the last nine years. I trust him completely and I know that he is always giving her the best care. Boxers are notorious for many health conditions but he has always made sure she has the best options and he takes care of her as if she were his own dog. We are loyal patients!

I highly recommend this practice. Dr. Shah gave my kitten a thorough exam and explained everything that he needed. The Veterinary Technician who took care of him was excellent. The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. They are all warm and caring people. I'll be a client for life!

When we first moved here seven months ago our oldest dog was sick and they made space to see her and even kept her in the kennel for us as we were still traveling. Dr Smith called me personally to inform me of diagnosis and to authorize treatment and when I explained we were on a budget she made options that were doable. Unlike any other vet we have had she called personally, as she has done with all our other dogs since, to check on their well being after the visit! If I call with a question for Dr Smith, it’s always answered by her or the outstanding front office the same day. I can’t say enough about the attention to detail and love that pours out of this office for all 3 of my dogters! My husband and I will never take our dogs anywhere else and I can’t recommend them enough. They work with you and don’t “sell you” on procedures you can’t afford. They all care about you AND your pets. Bravo Dr Smith and all of the staff!! 5 star service!

This was our first visit. I am impressed with their safety protocols. One person in mask may go in with their pet. The office area is extremely clean. The vet did a complete exam of my cat in a calm,peaceful manner. Including his teeth...I was very happy not only with how gently they handled my cat but how comprehensive the exam was. Exam and full blood panel was 240 so equal in price to others but the time and care made the price fair to me. Worth every penny.

The service here is so top notch.My other vet had recently been taken over by a large vet conglomerate, and this had led to 45 minute wait times in that parking lot and zero customer service.From my first visit with my dog Roger,I felt welcomed and given compassionate direction on his path for recovery from a tear in his knee.I have visited a few of their locations, and get this same service each time.I can’t believe I spent so much time with a vet that did this.I’m so happy to have found the right place for my dog.

It was nice they saw our chameleon just wish vet was more familiar with reptiles and what could be wrong with my baby. Prices are average for a vet service. Every one is friendly and nice. Needs more parking for handicapped folks. One spot is not enough.
