Amazing ambiance and caring service. I wanted a coffee but didn’t expect such a great espresso preparation with the most amazing pastries to accompany my Cortado! Variety is great and the menu alone would seem like a lot more items than what the small community would perhaps consume, so applauds for the effort and great experience! Very lovely experience indeed and will come back when in the area. A+++ for service and great coffee and pastries!!!Dietary restrictions: Several types of vegetarian and vegan milk options, same for options on pastries, sweeteners, etc.Parking: Easy to park and plenty of additional space on the street.Kid-friendliness: Smaller portions, can offer custom temperature on hot drinks, they also have stickers and pins.

I stopped by this cute bakery while I was at the Fall Festival. They had a system and were able to help many customers. I ordered the Pecan Pie Bars and I absolutely loved them! They were perfect and I want to go back for more! I also tried the Quiche which I believe was a Broccoli Potato Cheddar. It was really good as well but could have been warmed just a little bit longer. Looking forward to next time!

We love everything about this treasure of a bakery, from the ultimate comfort food of their blueberry turnovers and chocolate cream croissants to the truly savory cherry tomato tarts and Swiss pepper rolls. The freshest seasonal fruits and vegetables, many homegrown, are paired with the finest ingredients along with much care to create the magic of Mosswood’s pastries. The owners are real people doing real good in both their ovens and their community. Hats off to them for staying the course to keep us and them in best health during this trying time. I respect and appreciate their policies as much as their addictive recipes.

It's a nice place in a very cool town. The space was a little crowded with a line, which will tell you two things: The food is good. People are willing to wait in line for it because it is so good.With that being said, I hardly ever wait in lines, and it was kind of claustrophobic inside. The parking was also somewhat restrictive. The coffee was perfect, and the loaf of bread we bought was top-notch, even if I did have to wait outside on the porch while my spouse bought it.

I had been meaning to stop in this place for awhile now. I finally did todayI'm so glad I did..The fresh baked goods & coffee was amazing..The Vanilla Caramel macchiato was the best I've ever had.I will definitely be back.Definitely do not miss trying this place.

Wow, what a cute place out in the country. We went for the fresh sourdough bread. They also have brownies with different types of frostings. Plus, lots of other pastries to choose from. The staff was very friendly and the store is really cool. If you're considering paying them a visit we recommend that you do. You won't be disappointed.

Get there early or you might miss out on all the great food. The Americano coffee was great. The quiche was mostly cold. All the products in the display will be cold not room temp. Great brownies,peach turnover,and a Basil bread loaf. I had been trying for 10 years to stop here. I met the owner's husband in Arcadia,FL at a wild food conference. The owners husband told me about his wood oven and that the Macanopy State Park had wild horses and wild Bison roaming throughout the park. Also there are banana tree growing classes when they have time to teach them.

Great little shop of treats! A must-visit in Micanopy. Passionate owners make an array of treats, sweet and savory, on-site and they also have a variety of seasonal fruit which is harvested directly from the trees on the property.

No trip to Micanopy, Florida is complete without a stop at this Country Quaint coffee shop and bakery. Great coffees and brownies! They also have fresh baked breads on Saturdays. The rosemary sourdough is our favorite! Relaxing on the front porch here has become a Micanopy tradition!

I have yet to come across anything negative or bad about this location. We've been coming to Mosswood Farm Store since we moved to the area back in 2015. The first thing you'll notice when walking into their establishment is the amazing smell of coffee and baked goods. It's so soothing and welcoming. The people working here are always super nice and informative of their goods. My favorite pastry is the spicy black bean empanadas. I also enjoy their delicious coffee.The most unique quality about this location is their food forest behind the store. Joe offers classes educating anyone willing to attend about the various plants found in his forest. It's a wonder everyone can enjoy.

We were looking for a place where to find good coffee and pastries. After walking around Micanopy, we found Moss wood Farm store. I had a lemon bar and my husband an oatmeal cookie, both delicious! Also an almond milk latte and an espresso. We also bought vegan chocolate, super tasty. Don't miss it!!!

Highway robbery. Shockingly expensive. Surly 40something male behind the cash register hollered at us when we entered “SHUT THE DOOR! YOU'RE LETTING THE AIR CONDITIONING OUT!” That was my first impression of Mosswood Farm Store in dear Micanopy. Many of the goods are NOT local. A jar of jam is $15; a small candle from California is $20. I walked out without making a purchase. Zero smiles or kind words from either staff person. Skip this place. A waste of time.

Blue Highway Pizzeria recommend the nearby Mosswood Farm Store for coffee & baked goods. It’s a cozy visual delight just like the whole town. The cappuccinos were very good and the flowerless peanut butter cookie was outstanding. I want to return on a weekend for the stone oven bakery demonstration.

Lovely little coffee shop. I love hot chocolate and theirs is Mexican style with steamed milk. They also have sipping chocolate which I am really excited to try next time. I also had the "dirty chai brownie" and I really liked the chai spices in the frosting.

Oh my goodness this place is so cute! My sister and I stopped in while in town for business and we had a "salted caramel brownie"... Oh my God 😍😍😍😍 it was sooooooo good! My sister got a mocha Frappuccino something and that was amazing too!

On Saturday October 28th my wife and I visited Micanopy for their Fall Festival. We visited Micanopy dozens of times in the past. We like the little shops restaurants and one of our favorites was Mosswood Bakehouse. Sadly, we had a very uncomfortable issue with the owner (he said he was the owner) that day. There was a line to get in since there were 100's of people at the Fall Festival. There was a chair in front patio of the store for an elderly lady to seat while her family was on the line. She did not want to seat so the owner took the chair and put it on the porch. My wife was very tired and said if the lady does not want to seat, I will seat. She proceeded to go to the porch to seat and this man told her she could not seat there and pulled the chair from my wife's hands. My wife almost begged him to let her seat or to let her take the chair down as it was before so she can seat, and he categorically told her no. He said to my wife that she cannot seat there nor use the chair because she was not 80 years old. All this happened in front of everyone that was on the line waiting. It was disrespectful to my wife and I plus very embarrassing for her. We left without buying anything. We have been going to this place for over 10 years because we like their baked goods. The people in the store have always been nice and amicable to us. But this was enough for us not to come back not to recommend this place to anyone.

This place is a unique gem! It’s a short drive from Ocala and a stone’s throw from UF Gainesville. If you’re in the mood of relaxing at a cozy, little coffee shop, this is the place! They have a few stools in the front porch, some tables inside, and a few tables in the back patio. The food and pastries are delicious.

I really want to love this place. On paper it’s perfect, but the people who work there always seem to wish they were somewhere else. Everything is very expensive. For a country store, they are not very welcoming. They scoff if you bring your kids with you. The coffee is ok. I’ve never bought the pastries because they always have flies on them. They rush you “is that all???” While you’re still browsing as if they want you to leave. Really wish someone else would open a shop in Micanopy with GOOD coffee and a nice attitude.
