My dog apparently got a grass seed in his eye while staying at my son's house. His eye became swollen and closed in a very short time. I tried contacting the two vets I have used in the past but could not get an appointment. Mayo Town and Country was recommended so I called them. Not only did they get him in the same day but Dr. Jackson removed the seed which had become embedded in his eye and prescribed antibiotic ointment. Although he treated Ranger as an emergency, the cost was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Mayo Town and Country for their caring, compassionate care of my dog, and Dr. Jackson's skill as a veterinarian.

On 3/7/22 ,My boy Lugnut was in ALOT of pain and his regular vet didn't have any appointments available in either of their offices for 5-6 days so I reached out on FB for a recommendation for a good Vet and within a short time I got some names and Mayo Town And Country had the most recommendations so I gave them a call and they said bring him in. We dropped him off so the doctor could work him in , it took a few days for Dr. Jackson to run tests and observe Lugnut meanwhile the doctor was in contact daily with updates , after a visit with mybaby boy on 3/10/22 we made the decision to end his pain so he crossed the rainbow 🌈 Bridge, I want to thank Dr.Jackson and the staff for the care and compassion they gave to us during this difficult time and for helping us work out the financial situation of this un expected emergency. I highly recommend them they are dedicated, friendly,caring and compassionate not only to your pet but the family too.

Everyone was so kind and caring. Our big cat, Tiger, was seen on an emergency basis, but everyone there treated him like he had been a patient for years. We are so thankful for that. In the end Tiger had to be euthanized, and while that was such a hard thing to have to do, the way they treated him and us throughout the experience, helped us to know it was the right decision for our big sweet cat boy. We are so thankful for this group of wonderful, animal loving people, and we would absolutely recommend them!

Absolutely a great experience , office staff was very friendly and caring.Dr. Jackson has a calm demeanor and both of our Australian healers did not have any anxiety. He was very thorough and took time with the dogs.Would Absolutely recommend them for your pets care.

I have been using Dr. Jackson, since he opened up. He is great. However, it has changed. It's hard to get an appointment with Dr. Jackson. I liked it better when Dr. Jackson was hands-on.

Mayo town and Country is one of the bright spots about living in Mayo! We took our sweetheart of a 90 lb pit bull to them simply because they are the only vet in town, but I have to say, not only do we find the staff friendly and helpful, but Babymoo, our dog, LOVES to visit or board with Town and Country. Its nice to have a doctor you look forward to visiting. Besides being sweet people, they also give her great medical care, and Dr. Lindsey, will take the time to talk to us about her health. Best vet (and staff) ever!

You will not find a more caring, professional VET anywhere ! We moved to the area a few years ago and have loved them from the very beginning !
