If you want to wait in line for an hour plus to pickup a simple prescription this is the place. Lack of help, poor system, too many ignorant people not having their act together wasting time. Walked out and switching to Amazon Pharmacy for home delivery. If it's urgent and you need it that day you are going to suffer greatly and maybe die waiting in line here. These retail places are going to go the way of the Dinosaurs if they can't improve service levels. They don't seem to see it coming or even care.

don’t be late at ALL to pick up a prescription. i got in line and stepped out for 1 second to point out the soup to my sick daughter. when i turned back around the closed the gate IN MY FACE! i was begging for them to let me pick it up and they refused. as my daughter stood their crying in pain, they continued to tell me that they will see me at 9am tomorrow morning. i will NEVER be using their services again.

I've been transferred from the Winn Dixie recently closed pharmacy and find that the people are doing the best they can. So many people come here from other places and expect it to be seamless. Think about us poor locals that put up this the delays that unknowing snowbirds put on our little island. Pack some understanding when you come here or better yet, bring your prescriptions with you and there will be no problems for us or you.

They gave me wrong perscription and when I returned to correct, they arrogantly told me I had left the window and would not take the return. When someone checks their percriptions at the window they forcefully tell people to move away for the next customer.

Very odd that CVS has 3 separate sections at the pharmacy, PICK-UP, CONSULTATION AND DROP-OFF. I went there for a consultation, stood behind a woman at the counter. People in the pickup line came over a squeezed in from of me.I said, excuse me but I'm in the consultation line. They said, there's only one line, you have to get in the pickup line and the person at THAT counter has to tell you age can't help you and send you to the other lines. How totally ridiculous is this and a total waste of everyone that's in the stores time, including pharmacy staff.CVS you need to put signage I'm the area for SEPERATE lines to save a lot of time. SOME OF YOUR CUSTOMER'S ARE TOO CLUELESS TO FIGURE IT OUT ON THEIR OWN.

During my visit to Marco Island, I unfortunately encountered an inconvenience at the CVS store. Having sustained an injury that necessitated wound care after a visit to the ER, I sought to purchase additional supplies. Despite arriving at the CVS location at 10:48 pm, well before the posted closing time of 11:00 pm, I found the door locked, and the cashiers were in the process of closing the till for the night. Regrettably, they declined any purchases for the evening, citing operational constraints within business hours. Consequently, I had to travel to Walgreens north of the island to fulfill my requirements.

I'm on my local Holiday Hunt. I didn't find what I was looking for. However, I was pleased to see some Holiday Treasures! On top of what you expect from CVS, this store utilizes it's space well with ample essentials and a touch of Fun Beach Wear and Gear.

Went to pick up my prescription grabbed two other items that I needed when I got to the counter to get my prescription The woman at the counter said she'd only ring in my prescription not the other items I said it's just two items She said there's a long line of people waiting I said I understand that because I was just in that line now I have to go wait up front and align for these two items by the time we had this conversation she could have scanned my two other items I said her customer service was terrible and she told me I could go someplace else then can you imagine telling your customer they don't care go someplace else horrible this woman should be fired ASAP

Tatiana, she was fabulous. Without her help I probably would not of had my seizure medication to hold me to the date it was coming in. No matter how busy it was she took the time for me. How unusual is that. Phone calls, written by her my information and leading me to another CVS that had a few. Then transfer so I can continue to get them from her Pharmacy on time.Is she new! I don’t know, but this new crew alone with Keith are making it a better place. Much better. I travel back and forth so it’s sometimes hard for me. Please don’t change if your new. People are really worried about their and with some it’s their life line and depend on you like they do their doctor. Great step up with Tatiana and Keith your still wonderful. New Pharmacist is doing great. Stay your best. We need you guys❤️

This pharmacy is truly not a pharmacy. It's a bus station, tchotchke souvenir shop and Gods' waiting room combined into an aggressively pushed vaccine center. The worst of the worst. They will ignore doctors' phone calls, electronic prescriptions, patient messages, etc and they never answer the phones.I decided to do a little detective work and I just went in person on a recent Friday morning to drop off the prescription from my other doctor. To my shock there were about 6 people, all different staff and assistants, working furiously in the pharmacy. Not a phone was ringing because I guess they have the lines turned off. They were all busy pushing vaccines, a lady over there lined up waiting for a shingles shot, another one wanting a COVID booster. About 7 people waiting in line to pick up or drop off, and a lady cut in the line--she says by mistake, yeah right, and she was wearing a huge N95 mask where nobody here wears masks anymore--in front of an older man and a small fight/argument erupted. It was a zoo. Thank you snowbirds, about 45,000 of you come down to Marco Island from the northern states and get your Rx transferred to this CVS. As a national chain it's easy for you, in theory, but a local pharmacy cannot absorb this level of volume for 5 months and then swing wildly back to serving a population of maybe 25,000---and this creates the bottlenecks. Snowbirds, get your Rx from your home pharmacy and bring a 90+ day supply with you. So, from now on, I'm going to the local or supermarket pharmacies where they tend to take care of LOCALS not hordes of snowbirds fighting/screaming at each other and tourists. And my prescription took 3 days to be ready. Buy Bye CVS.

I am visiting Marco Island for two months. Last Wednesday, my script for adderall was due to be filled. My doctor had sent the script to a Pittsburgh Cvs where I normally get the meds. Since I had no one to pick it up for me, my doctor was kind enough to send the script electronically to Marco Island CVS. I was so happy! I went Wednesday to pick it up and was told it was on back order. They would special order for me and would be ready Friday or Monday. I had 3 automated phone calls saying it would be ready Monday afternoon. So I called the CVS Saturday afternoon to check. I was told that it was still back ordered. They did not know when or if they would ever get in. They said the automated system was wrong. Yes they use several manufacturers but they are all out of my dosage. Also there were supposedly many people ahead of me that needed this medication as well. Was told to go to another pharmacy. Period. No other choices. They were not going to help me in any way. I was in shock. When I said that I was told by another employee that it would be filled she said ‘well it wasn’t me. ‘ Luckily, my CVS in Pittsburgh still had the original script from October. They filled it in a half an hour. My sister will pick it up tomorrow and Fed Ex it to me. This CVS sucks! They discriminate and don’t care at all about the health and well being of their customers. I should have paid attention to all the one star reviews. One star is too good for this place. Close your doors and ask the Lord to forgive your treatment of others.

Horrible situation, can't speak to someone about a prescription, they won;t honor GoodRx, and their staff is literally new every day, nobody takes ownership and nobody in management realizes that THOUSANDS of vacationers come through and this store gets hammered. They have routinely mistaken my prescription cream 5% and they substitiute the BRAND at 0.5% which costs $950. Then when I question them to LOOK AT THE SCRIPT IT'S 5% they go, oh, sorry we made a mistake. BUT THIS HAPPENED TWICE IN A ROW> I"mDONE WITH THIS PLACE AND WILL DRIVE ANYWHERE OFF THIS GODFORSAKEN ISLAND TO GET A PRESCRIPTION FILLED ACCURATELY!!!!

I forgot my BP medication. After waiting on hold for 38 min the girl stated it will be ready in 24-48 hrs. Next day after waiting on hold another 40 min. I drove to the store and was told it could be another 48 -72 hrs by the Pharmacist himself. He proceeded to show me a stack of others to be transferred in. Then stated I know it's a hard lesson to learn for next time. I stated w/o it I will be in the ER. He said well then they can call in the prescription for you.Being an Rn I find so much of this repulsive. But luckily I had a Dr call in my Rx. Or I most definitely would have been in the hospital. I will never use CVS again.

I am very appreciative of the help I received at this CVS. I was in Marco Island for a few short days. Unfortunately, I was sick prior to the trip and felt miserable when I got there. I called the CVS and the pharmacist very kindly spoke to me for a good 5-10 minutes on the phone without rushing me off about different medications and options. The next day, I went in person and the same pharmacist was there. He again was very kind and patient with my multiple questions. I ended up waiting at the pharmacy for over an hour while a doctor called me in some prescriptions but I didn't mind because the staff were all very friendly to me. The pharmacy stays busy but I never felt rushed or dismissed. For that, I am very thankful. I should also mention that everyone had a great attitude while I was there and were happy despite how busy they seemed. That makes all the difference.

Do not recommend this location whatsoever. I was visiting from out of state and had a prescription called in. I waited in line for 15min before the tech said “it’s not ready, we will expedite it and call you over the intercom”. 45min later (the store was not busy at all and my medication showed being ready online) I finally got my script and left. When I went to take the medication, I realized there were less than half the amount of pills in the bottle than were listed on the label. I called to get it sorted out and was on hold for an hour. Nobody ever picked up the phone after asking if I could hold, and after several tries with no luck I simply gave up. Customer service needs a massive improvement and it is incredibly dangerous to be making so many mistakes on people’s medications. Trust the 1 star reviews.

Very unprofessional staff. Pharmacy technician Bryce is a joke and told me he could redo my Rx right away and give me a 90 day prescription (which I requested which I called in the Rx). Made me wait 30 min while he continued to fill Rx for people not even in the store or waiting on their Rx. Then when I questioned him about how much longer, he acted as if I had asked him to reinvent the wheel, and still took his time about doing it. Pitiful!!!

I’m visiting from out of town and developed a horrible sinus infection. My doctor’s nurse from home called in a prescription at 10:00AM and had to leave a voicemail due to no one answering the phone. I tried calling all day to see if prescription had been filled and no answer. Finally at 4:30PM we drove over and the pharmacist was extremely rude stating she had retrieved all of the voicemails and there was nothing there. Since they were closing soon I asked if my doctor could call her directly and she said no she didn’t have time she was giving vaccinations. I’m a nurse and if I treated my patients like that I wouldn’t have a job. She didn’t want to help it was clear. You are in the wrong line of work! I do not recommend this pharmacy!

Add my experience to all the others. Unfortunately, CVS onviously doesn't care. This is a terrible, terrible pharmacy. At 4:45 I waited in queue on the phone for 27 minutes to speak to someone about the status of my wife's RXs and then their system dropped the call. Plus, I had to listen to the same message about flu and covid shots every 30 seconds. How irritating is that? I'll try again tomorrow when they open. What do you think of my chances for success?CVS on Marco is no longer a pharmacy. It's a schlock retailer that happens to fill RXs if you are lucky. Google needs a 0 star rating for businesses like this.

CVS store in Marco Island FloridaDon't bother using this store.. it's not worth the hassle and once u get a script filled here you can't move it because they won't answer phones, so you can switch it to another storeDoctors and customers cannot call to talk with anyone. No answer ever. If your meds being correct and filled on time are important to you, do not use this store.Everyone on the island is saddened and disappointed that your pharmacy and district managers think this practice is acceptable. Covid may have been a valid excuse for a few months when the outbreak first happened ...but 2 years ?!...

Best CVS in town, pharmacy always extremely busy (this is a retirement community people, everyone is geriatric) and staff are still pleasant through the onslaught of horrible people in their face. Bonus, they have self checkouts open always, but customers are afraid of them for some reason, so you can cut the line up front usually 100% no wait, if you have a brain.Bad reviews seem to be from non-locals in some huge hurry. If you're traveling, bring your meds with you. It's not difficult.

ALERT! If you are trying to raise your blood pressure then this is the pharmacy for you! It is next to impossible to talk to a pharmacist as they put you on hold forever and then disconnect the call or they transfer you to the prescriber voice mail. This is typical behavior and I have just plain gotten fed up. I am a local and I am not just an impatient visitor as another reviewer suggested. Also, they wanted to charge me over $60 for a flu shot that was covered by Medicare. I ended up having to go to Walgreen's to get the shot for free. Gross incompetence.

This is the worst CVS that I have ever been to. They are all rude, from the people at checkout to the rude pharmacy staff. Everything is always delayed and they act as if this is the busiest cvs that there is - Alfredo, the pharmacy manager, was even more ignorant than the technicians. They believe that filling prescriptions within 2 to 3 days is acceptable and stated they don't have enough people to help. Every single time I have gone there there are at least 6 people working in the pharmacy. Not one of them is kind, they all have attitudes and they all rush every single person. This is not the busiest cvs location, this is just an extremely unorganized location where people use attitudes to deflect from their inability to properly do their job.

Too bad you can’t give them a negative number. I called numerous times today and calls continued to go to a voicemail that was full. I finally called back and went to the main store. I told the manager that I had been calling and the calls kept going to a full VM. She transferred me to the same Full vm again. I finally drove into the store, went to the pharmacy and told them that their VM was full. The young lady behind the counter actually shrugged and walked away. I waited another 40 minutes for my prescription. While I was waiting 2 more people can in and said that they were trying to call all day as well. I will be transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

Pharmacist was very rude. She was angry when I showed up for my flu shot appointment because she said I shouldn't have been able to make the appt. online for 7pm AND if I wanted the flu and pnemonia shots at the same time, then go see my doctor, SHE doesn't believe in giving two shots at once. Well, I told her that was fine and I would just take the flu shot. Believe me, I tried to be nice to this woman, but she wasn't having it. She then told me to go sit around the corner and she would be right out. NO ONE else was in front of me. I waited 25 minutes and only saw 3 people pick up prescriptions while she sat on the computer. I finally said I would wait outside until she is ready because I am a cancer patient and uneasy about being inside for so long during a pandemic. She cruelly retorted,"Then you wont get your shot. I will not allow you to wait outside." I just walked out. What a horrible experience. I will NEVER FREQUENT this or any CVS again because of this experience.

On vacation in Marco Island and need rescue inhaler for my son. I called this pharmacy 3 times and was on hold over 25 minutes. Went to voicemail; left voicemail—nothing. Finally read the reviews of this place and realized it’s their MO. Will happily drive to another city for better service. What a shame.

Horrible service here... three people behind pharmacy counter. Ignoring all three customers waiting in line. Pharmacist comes up to help the one lady who after several minutes comes up to window to ring up guy in front of me. The customer next to me tells pharmacist that "he is next" pointing to me. Pharmacist says "I will help you and she can help him". She then looks at me after ringing up man in front of me and walks off to the back never says a word. Unbelievably rude and poor customer service.

It's your civic duty to not give this place your business! YES - THEY ARE AS BAD AS THE REVIEWS SAY. USE WALGREENS INSTEAD!I had a sick child in urgent need of a Rx, and no they seriously don't answer their phone, so I drove there an hour after it was called in. They said they were busy and still needed another 30min. I left for a bit only to receive an automated call 40min later saying they're out of stock and need 2-3 days to fill it.Had the Rx called into Walgreens right up the road and they had it filled in 30min flat and the pharmacist couldn't have been sweeter.CVS corporate if you're reading this you have a little swamp to drain.

I have three autoimmune disorders. I get infections, mostly utis. I had one refill on a Cipro prescription from my pcp and have a uti. I called this morning and the pharmacy said it would be ready this afternoon, a Friday. I called CVS at 6:30pm and was told the refill was not authorized and they had put in a call to my pcp. Well, it’s Friday!!!! They won’t hear from my pcp until maybe Monday. And could they have called me to tell me this so I could go to urgent care or something? No. Could this woman on the phone have been ruder and cared less? No.I am beyond furious with this treatment after 14 years of using this pharmacy.
