Terrible experience, the lady’s at the grooming section was lazy they didn’t want to work I had an appointment for my dog and she created a lot of things to do not give him a bath, just because he is a large dog, she was very lazy I felt so bad there my dog was discriminated. Poor attendance

My go to for my dog and one of my dog's favorite places to go. The manager there is awesome and is very knowledgeable about dogs. They also have great deals on a wide variety of things if you sign up for them!!! I save money every time I buy there.

i came here to get my dog shots and whoever the check in guy was, i’m not sure if it’s his personality but he isn’t very helpful. Every question i asked he had a sarcastic tone. If you don’t like helping or understanding of people ,choose another place to work at. The store itself and employees are nice but specifically the check in young man who is mobile i assume for the shots, sarcastic and slow.

I really like Petco. It’s a small store where you can find almost everything you need for your pet. All the employees are extremely kind and gentle, they are always ready to help with a nice smile. The grooming service is incredible and my little fur baby loves to go there to see Carol 🐶 🏼❤️

i often came here for my pet supplies but i came in with sign because my dog was missing and they refused to put it up. it was the first pet store that refused this request all other petcos were happy to help in finding him.

I'm used to better service at Petco. This location has one very stressed out employee stocking shelves, answering customer inquiries & checking customers out. When I inquired about a product he barely gave an answer so I walked out without my purchase. Very disappointing.

Brought our kitten here for her booster shot. Vet was very nice and kind. Store staff was helpful and outgoing. Store was organized and clean. A good experience and we will return.

I just got my 10 year old cat out of urgent care and needed special rx food, stat! After a serious medical emergency, I am drained emotionally and financially. The Lighthouse Point store is my normal location that I frequent. They sent me to Ft Lauderdale for the rx food, because they do not carry rx. No prob, went there, got it, cat likes it, and now we are bound to this special food that is way more expensive than everything else I previously bought. So I return the next day to the Lighthouse Point Petco with 18 cans of the old food that I bought just 2 months ago, intending to return them, because I can no longer use them. Mind you, the expiration date is 2026. I speak to Koi, and she sees that I bought them 2 months ago, and after quite a wait of her working on the computer, she tells me that I cannot return them and that the return policy is 30 days. I explain that I am a very good customer for years that will be purchasing lots more expensive food going forward, would be fine with a store credit, and she continues to put them back in my bag and "nope." I ask to see the manager, and she says "I am the the manager." Really? REALLY LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND KOI NEEDS SOME EXTRA TRAINING with the people skills. I went home and looked online to see the return window is 30-60 days. I was so annoyed by this visit that I have decided never to frequent this store again. When there are many options for pet food, it is kind of crazy that a store would treat a good customer this way. Oh well, I will be donating my extra food to my vet's office.

I really wish petco would hire people who truly care about animals. First off the store smells horrid, especially near the cat adoption area and near the ferrets. The cats were extremely dirty and their small pen reeked of feces. On the cat below you can see the urine stain on their fur. It’s sad to see how they take care of their animals.

I never experienced anything like this before we got treated so rule. I wanted to buy some goldfish feeders I was told that our water needed to be test. So we went home to bring back some fish water, got there and was told they didn't have any more testers.Never ever hear that for feeders, went to another one and got some with no problem no questions ask. My first time ever experienced racism.

Absentee staff abandoned the points of sale for a 10 minute conversation by the fishtanks without so much as a glance to see if any customers were lining up. I would've just strolled out with my items if i didn't have my own company's shirt on. Drive the extra distance to any other petco location than this one, they're all stocked about the same

I was adopting a cat for my friend that she just had to put her cat of 16 years to sleep I found the perfect tiger stripe kitten for her at the lighthouse point Petco The only unfortunate experience was dealing with the woman named Suzanne Williams who runs the pet rescue there cat crusaders she is an absolute nightmare to deal with if it wasn't for the manager Ariana we would have not even done business with her she completely saved the situation she is very very customer service orientated deeply cares about animals and if it wasn't for her I don't think they would be any success to the cat rescue located at the lighthouse point Petco because the woman that runs it is an absolute nightmare to deal with once again thank you Ariana for saving the situation

I used to go to the Petco over on Hillsboro by Powerline in Deerfield Beach but once all my, and my doggie's favorite employees were replaced, I started going to the Petco on LHP. We encountered some of our old friends working there and made new ones. The store is smaller (the reason for the 4 stars) but otherwise, it contains most of our needs. The employees are getting to know my Mia and are ready with her favorite treats.
