We had a 1:30 appointment and was told we could pick her up at 5 ok we arrived at 5:15 she was not ready ok we overlooked that(it can happen) we were met outside the Salon door and was handed the bill and told to go pay the bill…..we didn’t think to much about that ,but hindsight now, we should had. When we took her in we showed them a picture of how we wanted her clipped and verified the length of the fur etc. showed them one more time how we wanted her clipped ( In depth ) when we were finally allowed in the grooming salon we were totally in shock …… they shaved her almost down to the skin her face was as well and Is very uneven , she has cuts and burns in 6 places on her body she is cowering when we raise our hand to pet her she laying around whimpering acting scared to death and hiding. it’s very obvious that they mistreated her. she is the sweetest dog. She’s never done that she won’t eat. She’s not even barking at other dogs like she usually does. Veterinarian believes that she was mistreated also. Not only is our girl a rescue herself, but she is also my veteran husband’s certified emotional support companion. Whatever happened to our baby girl has traumatized her and my husband as well! First picture is what we asked for second is what we got. I would not recommend but had to mark at least one star to post

I will NEVER return to this location or any location to have my dogs groomed. I took both of my dogs to this location for a bath & full haircut @ 12:30 pm & received a phone call @ 4:30 pm to tell me my dogs were ready for pickup.Upon my arrival, I see that only one dog has been groomed and the other one was not. I was explained that my dog was 'aggressive' & that he bit the groomer while she attempted to groom him. I have NEVER, NEVER received this type of feedback from any of the Petsmart groomers, EVER. He's been going there for over 2 years.I find it quite troubling that I wasn't informed of this until I arrived . By the way, they close at 5 & I have a suspicion that b/c it was closing time, Katie ( & the rest of her staff) chose NOT to groom him.I'm livid. Katie could have easily picked up the phone well before 4:30 & explained the situation. So, I call B.S. all the way around.I am beyond upset that they were so focused on cleaning and leaving that my dog was mistreated & not groomed.BTW, my 'aggressive' dogs are pictured below.

I just walked out of your store for the last time. Seems like the only cashier is so busy helping one woman shopping to help anyone in line. Then, the same woman decides to pick up more items while checking out and then wants to set up an account. I'm standing there holding 50 lbs of dog food!!!Not anymore. It's in the wrong aisle.

Terrible, Terrible service! I took my 6 year old, 10 lb, Havanese mix to the groomer. Dropped him off at 11:30 for his appointment and got a call at 3pm not saying he was ready but that they were unable to groom him. The groomer (Allen) informed me that my pet was moving around to much and jumping. Not being aggressive but just moving. My dog has been groomed here for the past year and he has NEVER had an issue before. He is a very calm dog. When I checked him in at 11:30 there were at least 5 others in line with the same appointment time. So I am assuming they were busy. But if you cannot take the time that is needed with each dog why are you in this field? I am very disappointed to say the least and would rather drive the 30 minutes to the villages PetSmart than to ever trust my pet in the hands of these so-called groomers. On top of this they charged me 38 dollars for “just the bath” instead of the 51 dollars it would have been for bath and full groomer. This is pure comedy!

I generally have positive experience at petsmart locations. I have gone to PetSmart in other locations in different cities in and outside of FL. This one seems understaffed. The staff that are working there are friendly. There is a large selection of stuff and you can pretty much find whatever you're looking for, however, help is not always available. There is typically only one or two people working it seems. There is ESPECIALLY no help when it comes to fish and the tanks are not kept up to par.The dog trainer Alyssa has been great and I would absolutely recommend her for your basic-advanced training class needs as well as the brain games. I wouldnt recommend the grooming outside of the basic bath and brush...and even then they dont do everything as described as part of the bath and brush on the website when you book (sanitary trim...they say they have never done this, all other locations do it tho and again, its listed on the website as part of that package.) Groomers do not seem knowledgeable on haircuts, at least for poodles. I asked to keep the topknot and just make it even...groomer was confused by the term and when I got my dog back, his top knot was messed up. He had a conehead. Only reason I come is for the dog training or when I dont feel like driving more than 5 minutes to get stuff. I get grooming done at a small business in howey in the hills now. Otherwise, I go to the new pet supermarket near the walmart and Aldi now. This location is an overall 'meh' experience. I recommend either the Petco or Petsmart in Lady Lake or Driving down to the shopping center with Aldi in it near walmart and go to Petsupermarket Leesburg.

Clean store with a plentiful supply of goods. The staff were very friendly and able and willing to help. There was a large line waiting to check out when we arrived but they handed it quickly.They had a team n doing adoption just outside the store with some really cute pups. They also do a very good job with collecting proceeds for the local shelters.

If you love your animal , please do not bring to this location for grooming services. I asked for one simple thing , to trim my yorkis face and underneath his stomach area. His private area was cut toooo short to the point where he now has a wound. He has been very irritated and cannot stay still. Thanks to the horrible job that was done today. Please train your employees. This is unacceptable.

Going to make this short and sweet because it’s not worth taking up anymore a time to talk about them I walked in the store went to the fish area stayed around there for approximately 2025 minutes. No one ever came to ask if I wanted any help or to see if I could be helped. No one said a word to me the entire time I was in there until I got to the cash register The manager walked by one row over and he made the turn at the corner, and I said excuse me, he never even looked up And acknowledge I was there I was there… nothing.. When I got to the cash register, I told the lady that I had been there and nobody had been over there over there to help me. Her response was “oh sorry” I looked at her for a second and thought she was going to ask if she could get somebody to help me but that was the end of the conversation with her and I told her I’m sorry too, and walked out, will never ever ever ever grace that place again I’m sure they can live without me and I’m sure we’re gonna find out. I see some write ups about great service. I can’t say a single thing about the service because I didn’t have any space moved to the very bottom of my list of businesses to associate with this area .

You can pretty much find Everything You Need. But the people that work there are not the friendliest and seem like they really don't want to help you out. Pet Supermarket is just down the road. Same pricing, but nicer staff..

I went to book an appt for my puppy (9months) and was told that i could no longer do so since my puppy was a “biter” i have taken my pet there three times and was not notified of this until after i called for his 4th visit. The first time i took him they we were unable to complete a trim, the second time they cut ALL of my puppies hair( it was awful). I called to speak with the manager and was told the manager was in between a pet adoption and could not speak to me . I would not recommend this location for services. I think PetSmart is a great place for pets but NOT this location for grooming services. Beware …

Nice staff. Good selection of items. Pretty much find whatever you need for your pets there. I was able to try several collars on Napoleon before we decided on the Kong collar which gave him the best fit. Very helpful...give them a try.

Good for everything except grooming. In four years of owning my Maltese(s) I have always groomed them myself groomed them myself. I went out of town and my husband thought he would give it a go with the clippers and relized he was way over his head so what did he do? He rushed him to PetSmart to finish the job. He expected the body to be cut low to correct his mistakes but he had not touched the head. Asking them for a fluffy puppy/teddy SQUARE face cut and ... well look at the photos. My Maltese had a fulllll face of hair before mind you so plenty to work with. I could live with the hideous hair cut - it will grow back but then a week and 1/2 later ... FLEES. Like, super sonic flees. It was not that many but my dogs are on Revolution Flee prevention so this shouldn’t have even been a thing. Again, in 4 years, my dog has never had flees. Ok ok so that problem was fixed whatever it happens. NOW the dog that was groomed has the worst tear stains I have ever seen. We noticed the tear stains and they have just been progressively getting darker and darker ... like brunet nastiness. I gave him a bath and went to clip his nails per usual and that same brown substance is on this nails! Like...wth... it’s located at the base of the nails where they grow and I can scrape it. IDK but my dogs sleep in the bed with me so we are not having this. Back to the vet after the weekend! All of this because my husband decided to do the one thing I tell him not to do... attempt to groom the dog. First two pictures are before ...

they don't seem to clean the cages regularly. The fish tanks had dead fish in them. And the furry pet section stunk really bad they only had 2 employees that I seen working and they where doing there best to take care of customers one of them was working the register and the other was helping customers

If I had an option to give a lower number I would. I loved our PetSmart in South Carolina and Altamonte Springs, FL.This was an experience that was uncalled for. I went in to get a Beta fish, the tank with a filter, etc. I was told to wait as a guy was helping another person. When he finished, I started to ask him questions and he said "I'm leaving" ask that guy over there. Well, the "guy over there" came out of a door stuffing his mouth with food and I noticed his name tag said James, Store Manager. He walked right past me and I approached him and ask that he help me as it had been years since I had a Beta. This Store Manager did absolutely nothing. I had walked past the shopping carts and my arms were filled with product. I ask if he could get me a shopping cart. He hesitated as if I had asked for gold. He did absolutely nothing else.When I went to check out Nancy was at the cash register and she immediately asked me if I had gotten the solution for the water and if I had gotten food. She closed her register and walked over and helped me get everything else I needed. She was wonderful and at least made me feel important and not like I was an imposition as that awful Store Manager made me feel.

Great experience. We found a banded parakeet in our bush during a storm. We needed a cage for this rescue. The associate took me immediately to the bird section. Yes, we posted on social media about a lost bird and no one claimed him. We think he blew in from the hurricane as he was found the next day.

They have an employee that likes to lie on people and have the cops called and a lot of drama started for no reason at all, I would avoid this shop at all cost as the staff is extremely toxic and hostile for no reason, I would take my needs elsware

I just moved to leesburg about 2 years ago. This pet smart is definitely different than my old towns. I’ve been coming here quite often for fish/fish supplies and dog supplies. It’s a very clean store and every thing is well organized! But every time I come in for fish I’ll sit there for 5 minutes waiting for somebody to help, unless I immediately press the help button as I get there. The different associates are telling me different things about fish needs. One of the gentlemen in there came off rude to me. When I told him I wanted the neon tetras for my 20 gallon tank with my female beta, he just stopped getting the little tank and net set up and said you’re putting these with a beta. And I said yes. He told me I can’t put ANYTHING with my beta at all it’ll kill everything it’s tanked with. And I already did research before hand and I know betas can be territorial and kill, but it says tetras and other certain community fish are compatible depending on the betas temper. So I got them any ways because even if it didn’t work I have 3 tank set ups. So he asked me how many I want I said 5 then he went to another topic how 5 is all I need because too many fish In a tank will kill them and dirty the water. Mind you it’s a 20 gallon with only 1 beta and 2 snails… he just seemed very defensive about my fish purchases in stead of giving nice advice/knowledge he just seemed…. Rude? so anyways I left with 5 tetras who looked sick anyways they died within 2 hours in my tank and my water checks were perfectly fine. Another topic before that. I got 3 snails here and when I put them in my 10 gallon I waited for 4 days until I realized I bought 3 dead snails. They hadn’t moved not once since I put them in my tank and my tank started to smell terrible from them. And I got no refund or new snails. Because I didn’t use my rewards number and didn’t have my receipt… but some of the associates are SUPER nice and helpful definitely great service except that one guy that seemed rude to me. I’m just getting completely different information from different workers. And there’s always multiple dead fish in different tanks which I guess is just nature..there’s usually never a long line to wait in. But I will still continue to go to this store, it’s just a 50/50 thing on experience when shopping. I will say again it’s a clean well organized store and all the ladies are so sweet!

My wife and I were excited when we decided to get a pup. A couple of months before we received her we were in touch with PetSmart to begin planning as fur parents. We had a lot of questions, PetSmart gave us sound instructions so we knew what to expect.After receiving our pup, Ella, it was clear to us that for Ella to have a happy, healthy, joyful life, we needed to go to the next level...enroll in puppy class.It has been the best money we have ever spent. Not only did Ella complete basic puppy class, she completed intermediate class and is due to complete advanced class in a couple of weeks. Our instructor(dog whisperer) Mindy, has been absolutely amazing in teaching my wife and I the best way to go about training, maintaining and reinforcing Ella into the dog she is about to becomeMy wife and I believe in in the people of PetSmart, everyone of them is a pleasure and we trust them to do the best for our girl Ella.

Have been here once weekly for 12 weeks for training classes with Alyssa S. We absolutely LOVED our classes, and our experience with Alyssa! She is always enthusiastic, extremely helpful and is wonderful with the pups! Would highly recommend anyone looking to do any puppy training classes or intermediate and above to definitely choose this Petsmart over any other branch, solely for the training with Alyssa.
