I visited the Okahumka Ace Hardware earlier this afternoon to get a key cut that I provided. All they needed to do was cut a two sided key. A simple two minute job with no material provided. No programming, just a cut. I was shocked to hear that the cost is this simple cut was $20!!! When I questioned the manager, he stated "that's the cost" with little care. I would agree with $20 if programming were provided, but not a virtually zero overhead simple cut. Very disappointed in this Ace Hardware. I'll stick with Weirsdale Ace moving forward. Adam-

I love coming to this store! The management and staff are all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They accept expired coupons and always give my kiddos a special treat at checkout! The whole family loves this place!

How is it that I walk in and wait 15 minutes to be told you can't help me, but every old white person, your employees break their neck to get to. Rude... I would give negative stars, but then you would have to owe me, and I want nothing to do with your establishment.Now before you start with your 'I am pulling the race card', I go to several Ace Hardware stores around the area and never got treated like this.

Pretty sad that my husband had to educate the employee as to what RIDE was and what it was used for lol also that anyone who is connected to city sewage doesn't need to maintain their septic tank because they don't have one! Hahaha. Anyway it's a very clean store, with extremely helpful, friendly employees and although prices are often higher than Lowes or Home Depot and definitely higher than Walmart it's closer so you pay for the convenience! Worth the trip!

Evey time I go in you are greeted with a smile & how can I help from one of the professional staff members, they will help you get to the right department and stay with you to help find items that are best and not the most expensive. Always a sale on somthing.

Very helpful and friendly. Called ahead to see if they had what we needed. They said they only had 1. 5 minutes later they called us back and said they had 2 of what we needed after looking further. Much easier to get in and out of then the big box stores.

Love this place. 5 minutes from home.Great customer service and VERY friendly people throughout the store.If I need something in a pinch, they have it.I also like that they are closed on Sunday so their folks can spend time off and it gives me a Slacker Sunday.

Everyone knows they charge 25%-50% more than Home Depot or Lowe’s but they have a better customer service approach.Unfortunately i recently had a disappointing experience.I bought tow small tarps on Sept 27, Wednesday in case needed for emergency use.A hurricane watch was issued for Lake County on the 28th.Long story short…..is did not need them and went to return them and they told me it is considered hurricane supplies and are not refundable….I left very upset, feeling ripped off.Later I called the manager Jim and he said he would need to get approval to do the refund…..$30 for 2:small tarps…..I called back and he said they would refund the $30.My complaint is why do I need to fight with them when there was no hurricane watch or warning for Lake county at that time and their return policy is 30 day with receipt.Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Not sure what has recently happened to the prior experienced employees. But current employees are not trained and/or knowledgeable with items sold and / or job responsibilities.I will no longer be a customer with this ACE store.Up-date 3-22-22. From 1 star to 3. Went in for an emergency pick up and things are getting better. Nice and good service this time. I will try them again.

As soon as I walked into Ace I was asked can I help you the gentleman that asked me could not find what I needed so he got one of his coworker to help me ..... he would not stop helping me not till we found what I needed.....very nice of them to help me that way....
