We stopped here out of lack of options on our way to Panama City Beach, although we were so glad we found this place. Somewhat out in the middle of nowhere, this place was kinda pricey, but the food was soooo good, and the place did have a bit of a country back roads charm. I had one of their fire oven calzones which was amazing, and the friends I was with had the liver and onions dish and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich (which was the only complaint, as the bread was a bit toooo toasted). Prices are a little high, but for something like the calzone, what you get is definitely worth it, as that fed me for two meals. Great place and would stop by again if I'm on my way out there again!

Don’t blink when you travel through the small town of Lamont, FLMy wife and I were traveling from Indiana to Holiday, FL with our little poodle. Needed a place that accepts animals and this awesome place popped up.I almost didn’t stop mainly because from the exterior it didn’t look like a place for us. But then I noticed there were several cars in the lot. Am I ever glad we did. Met some of the nicest people inside including the owners. Food was great! Beer was cold! It has a very cool bar top that the owner built himself with other items in the place.We would definitely stop in again!!

Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Two friends and I drove 45 mins from Killearn Lakes to get to the restaurant and it was worth that long drive. We shared delicious Fried Green Tomatoes - the best any of us had had anywhere. Sliced thinner, breaded more lightly than many places serve. Extremely great taste. One of my friends had their very large hamburger with wonderfully fresh crisp lettuce, tasty tomato. Another friend had Clam Sauce over pasta and thought it was wonderful. I had spaghetti & meatballs ... delicious. As wonderful as it all was ... the desserts were EVEN BETTER. I'm posting the desserts menus so you can see how great the choices are. My Pineapple Cheesecake was so good, I bought a second slice to take home. We met the family that owns this wonderful place and just totally great people. Five star just isn't enough.Vegetarian options: I usually choose vegetarian but did have meat for lunch. But there are salads and sides that could be fine if I'd wanted to stick to vegetarian today. I allow myself a once per month "meat" day.Parking: Ample parking.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly. Beer is available though.

The food is all homemade and done with love. The mom and son made us feel so welcome like we were family.The pizza was amazing. And the steak salad was huge with fresh vegetables.My husband and I travel the country in our RV and love finding places like this.Thank you

Always great!! Not our 1st time here but it's been a while, so glad we stopped back in! The food was delicious, Margherita pizza was awesome as was the fried mushrooms and fried green tomatoes, my husband had the double decker bigger and he loved it, portions are good and prices are fair, beer is nice and cold and i love the bar! Always a good stop!Edit: 5/2021 They had Gator bites back on the menu at our last visit! Got to try for the 1st time...DELICIOUS!! Cooked perfectly and the breading was great, not too much, just enough so it didnt take away from the gator, I do wish they had some kind of Chili Thai sauce or another sweet and spicy dipping sauce but their homemade Remoulade sauce is awesome! Definitely stop in while they still have Gator Bites!

Don't miss this one. Almost didn't stop, but glad I did.Very surprised by the menu and food quality. It's earned a return trip! Try the bacon wrapped DATES! DELICIOUS! Brick oven pizza was a pleasant surprise, one of the best 😊

Some buddies took me out here after a workday on the hunt club, man I was impressed. Wide selection on the menu and wait staff definitely took care of us. Our glasses were never empty and food was great. Got the fried gator tail and man I can tell you i haven’t had any that tasted that good in a while. Also had the colossal burger Which was amazing.

Our family of 6 had lunch there while traveling through the area. The service was quick and friendly. Everyone enjoyed our meals, especially the cheesy garlic bread and the fries! Would definitely recommend the café to anyone in this area.Kid-friendliness: They had a good selection on the kids' menu, and crayons and coloring books. My youngest loved putting a picture he colored on the wall.

This was a fantastic stop off on the way to Destin from Orlando. Had the home made burger and the alligator tails. Ella had a pizza which was also very good. Super friendly staff, would highly recommend if you're in the vicinity.

I can't give any less than 5 because this place is incredible. The food is awesome! Leave room for those homemade desserts!This is the type of place that makes you feel like family. Feeds you super well and makes you want to come back.I ate: Fried Green tomatoes (never tried them before and omg so good) - Chicken Parm with Angel hair pasta - Turtle Cheesecake (blew me away).Girlfriend had: Grilled Cheese w/ fries (really cheesy and grilled nicely) - 4x boneless chicken wings - Bread pudding in a rum sauce (GF was blown away... Said she hasn't had one like that since was a little girl growing up in Puerto Rico).

We pulled off I10 roughly half way through a 7 hour trip. Decided we wanted something different from regular fast food we could get at home and decided to check Google. They were only about 10 minutes down the road and the food looked good so we thought we'd at least check it out and have an adventure.It was FANTASTIC!! It was very busy when we first got there, but even though everyone was obviously multi tasking, the service was still better then many places I've been to recently, with very friendly people all helping each other to make sure we were taken care of and very willing to answer questions.My daughter ordered the fried pork chop meal with 2 sides and I went with the margarita pizza, since I've always wanted to try one with the added bonus it was being cooked in the wood burning oven.The pork chop was perfect. Crispy flavourful crust with juicy tender pork. My pizza was all I thought it would be and more from all the times I've seen it on cooking shows. Before we left we were already trying to plot when we might be able to go back.The interior was so clean and neat, you would have thought they had just opened for the day, instead of just starting to finish an overflowing parking lot of Sunday lunches. It has a very welcoming, warm feeling, that is only increase by the staffs attention and obvious pride in the place.I can guarantee that if we find ourself in the Tallahassee area, we will try to find an opening to return there.

My wife and I were starting to get hungry in the afternoon and there's not much between Perry, Fl. and Tallahasse, Fl. we happened to see this little place, that had quite a few cars in the parking lot, went in and Darlene was our waitress was really nice we both got the cheeseburger and my wife had the sweet potato fries, just regular fries for myself! We both agreed that it was the best cheeseburgers we'd ever had! Darlene also told us about dessert which were all homemade, I got the cheesecake with strawberry topping, also the best! We'll be back again for sure!

Surprisingly great! We were on a road trip and needed a quick bite. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing and the Chicken Blue pizza was equally fantastic! Best pizza crust I’ve had in a long time! Super fast and friendly service. 5 stars.

We went there as a group. I was so happy we went there. We were treated like kings. They have an appetizer bacon wrapped bbq sauce covered dates that are to die for delicious. So we're the fried green tomatoes! Everyone loved the food, and portions were ample The owner Steven was so pleasant and accommodating. It was so good we stopped there again the next day as we were heading home. I highly recommend this place, worth going out of your way.

Don't let the exterior fool you, the quality of the food was amazing! Delicious Italian and Ssouthern cuisine. The fried gator, brick oven pizza and spaghetti were some of the best I've ever had. The owner had southern hospitality and took very good care of us. We happened to be passing by on a road trip, and wish we lived close so we could eat there all the time. Wonderful people, delicious food, if you're in the area this Cafe is a must!
