The rudest people working in the Pharmacy. Long waits in drive through or inside pickup. If you call you will be placed on hold several times and wait a good amount of time before you can talk to someone. Poor customer service. Other issues too lengthy to mention.

They tell you your medication is on back order and will contact you when it is ready. After 1 week I followed up and was told that my prescription was not on file because too many people are waiting for it so it kicks the RX out of cue. An entire week wasted with no accountability on their part for cancelling the order without telling me.

I am extremely disappointed with this place and it's staffI call up there and was put on hold for over 3 hours!! They would literally pick up the phone and put it back on hold once the music changed. I'm a very patient man... but I actually needed this medication, I was completely out and me being diabetic, it's not good when we run out of insulin... so she told me she didn't have it in STOCK and she would call other stores to check their inventory...i never received a call and it's 30 minutes before they close I call them only to be put on hold for 3 hours...I sit and sit and listen as they pick up the phone and hang it up to restart the Terrible waiting room music they have playing... finally I gave up. I'm gonna go down there and trust me I'm in a bad bad mood today so they will be hearing it from me!

I normally wouldn't make a big deal but this time while shopping, I needed dove body wash which were locked up. Didn't noticed the service button therefore went looking for an employee, found one and politely asked if she could help me (CHARLENE)...I thought she didn't hear me at first, she then proceeded to get up after looking at a product and walked away. I said ma'am can you help me, she finally replied and said I'm helping someone and kept on walking... I'm like ok... all she had to do was say I'm helping someone right now I'll be back to help you. You're in customer service CHARLENE, just communicate nicely. So I walked back to the locked dove area pressed button for help and waited. The guy shows up, which looked like the manager, helped me get the body wash and also apologized. The cashier also apologized as she rang me up.

I have been waiting for sleep aid that I have taken every night for 15 years. No med..no sleep. The doctor called it on the 12th and here it is the 29th and no refill. I was told it was ready on the 27th. Went to the store and the Pharmacy was temporarily closed for days. They knew they were closing and yet never disclosed this to me or offered to send it to another Walgreens to be picked up. I am so finished with them. I’ll also be writing to the main office with a harsh complaint.

The pharmacy is reliably unreliable. You can count on this pharmacy to randomly cancel your prescriptions and provide zero feedback on why.They decide to fill or not fill prescriptions without even asking. Cannot provide basic services. They also will not respond to several requests to transfer prescriptions.If you aren’t in the mood to fight and do your homework for your prescription to get filled - seek another pharmacy.

If you need your prescription filled , run do not walk to another pharmacy! This stores pharmacy staff and management needs a lot of help! I had been called out of town for close family funeral and I had prescription that was being filled. So I called the store to let them know that I was out of town and returning of Friday 3/24/23 and I will be there to pick them up. The young lady said no problem she was place them in the hold area with a note on them. I thanked her and hung up the phone. I call today as I said I would, to pick up the prescriptions and I called them to let them know they were ready. The clerk tells me they were not ready in a week and I was holding the store text stating they and additional prescriptions the doctor called in from his office. Of the 8 prescriptions only 2 were filled. I asked the clerk how Is this possible and I have notifications that they were ready. (Sounds like someone is falsifying company documents to me?) I was asked by the clerk if I saw her put the note on the meds. I guess I suppose to have X/Ray Vision and can see 500 mile away on the phone! Talk about being unprofessional!!I-asked to speak to the store manager and once again she gives me her sob story on using floating staff again! Every month there is a pharmacy problem. When I asked for the District Pharmacy number, she tells me she can’t give it to anyone on the street! Nothing has been straightened out at this store in months and should be cleaned out starting from the top down! This is a piss poor example of running a store.

The incompetence of this company and this store is staggering. I would have given a one star, but for the friendliness of the staff. I take heart medication. 5 days ago I placed an on-line order for a refill. Their system indicated I had one left. I went to pick up the Rx today and no luck. Their on-line system and reality were not in sync. Turns out I didn't have any refills. I am now out of meds and have to call the Drs office tomorrow to get a new Rx and then have it filled. In all likelihood I'll be off the medication for 3-4 days. I doubt it will kill me, but Walgreens could have easily called, messaged or emailed me to let me know. I guess that's asking too much. Unfortunately this isn't an isolated incident so I'll have to go elsewhere and it won't be a Walgreens.

Such a joke. Sit here for 45 minutes waiting on a script that is already filled. Watching these 2 doing nothing and acting like is their first day. Then the Pharmasict comes off of his many breaks and decides to work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

This store never reaches out to me to tell me I have a prescription ready. They will when putting back on shelf. They never have enough staff and now closed up without notice. I waa there the day before closed and was to fill 3 prescriptions and I was to pick them up yesterday. They were closed. This store is a joke.

I normally wouldn't make a big deal but this time(after many unpleasant trips) is the giant branch that broke the back. My wife is currently battling cancer. Her throat is absolutely brutalized by the radiation. She was given a prescription that soothes the throat pain. It was very expensive so I asked the head male pharmacists for the name so I could try and find a discount after approaching him with tears in my eyes, looking him in the eye and asking for his help. He proceeded to tell me he couldn't give me the name of the ingredients and that I wouldn't be able to find a discount anyway. I begged him to try but he showed very little interest as he looked into my tear filled eyes. I went to Publix and within 10 minutes they had called this Walgreens, written down the exact measurements and name of all ingredients and found me an 85% discount. This honestly should be grounds for at least a write up. The job of a pharmacist is to help give life saving medicine to people in dire need. If someone approaches you the way I approached him he should be doing everything possible to help. I can tell the staff,some who are very kind and caring don't like him as well. Honestly I think he should pick a different occupation. I'd give zero stars but some of the people working there are really nice.

The paharmacy is by far the worst pharmacy ever!! I have literally been on hold for over 15 minutes waiting to talk to someone. I have ALWAYS gotten my prescriptions with them and have a primary and Medicaid as secondary insurance, what the primary does not pay for my Medicaid has. I always have issues with this pharmacy wanting to charge me for medication that my Medicaid has always paid for!!! So tired of having to explain and argue with these people! Keep better records!!! Also as we speak I have been on hold now for 20 minutes and someone has picked up 5 times just to put me on hold AGAIN!!!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been having a prescription filled there for more than a year. It's a life saving antagonist medication. A person CAN NOT stop taking this medication abruptly. Out of the blue I got a phone call from the pharmacy located at this Walgreens store. A person with a thick accent and speaking broken english told me I could no longer have my prescrition filled at their pharmacy. He explained that my healthcare provider and Physician was no longer comnsidered legitimate. I was completely thrown for a loop. I've never heard of such a thing. I'm under the care of a reputable tele-health provider. I had a two day supply left of my medication when I received the above mentioned phone call. The man was very matter-of-fact and cold when he called me. My healthcare provider had to work quickly to find me another pharmacy so my much needed medication prescription could be filled. Walgreens is a joke as far as I am concerned. The guy who called me had no class and no reguard.

the rewards system seems like a trap really. how are you going to give me a $5 rewards on my NEXT purchase.. I come in again, and present the rewards & im told "it doesnt take $5 off, it goes onto your account."... so not my NEXT purchase.. but the NEXT NEXT purchase. pointless. the only reason i even came back to EXPENSIVE walgreens was because i was going to save $5.. just to be told id have to come in AGAIN. i didnt even take the next coupon from this purchase.

Needed prescriptions quickly and was unable to walk inside to pick up and package was too large for drive thru. Extremely nice, polite and caring young lady brought them out to my car. She also turned down the tip I offered for her help. Wonderful representative for Walgreens.

Around this time last year, I applied for that store. The Assistant manager told me that I was hired. Did my drug test and everything and never heard from him again. I tried calling but they said that he wasn’t available and that he would return my calls, which he never did. It was probably for the better because they don’t really care about their customers. While I was there, a women asked for help on an OTC medication and the girl simply ignored her. Very poor service! I would probably never go to that store again.

I used to come here frequently as I live in the neighborhood. Then I noticed the prices seem to go up so they were much more expensive than other stores but I continued to go for convenience. Today I went in to purchase a nasal decongestant, I didn’t need any other items, the online price was less than five dollars so I didn’t order for pick up instead I went inside. ($10 minimum for pickup orders.) The price inside was nearly $12, double the price of the online item, the manager would not honor the online price. The manager said that the online price was lower to force people to buy more products, I told him it didn’t work because I was going to target. Not only did they not get me to purchase any additional products on today’s visit but I will no longer be back.

Hello I am very unsatisfied 🚫with this I have been waiting for my prescription to be filled I went in two days ago they had told me it would be 50 minutes and all would be filled ⁸so I left the store and I come back within 50 minutes in the lady in drive-thru I told me they would not be filled until tomorrow so I called today this morning and they said they're not filled yet it would be later so I waited and called them back several hours later and now the lady told me they won't be feel until tomorrow I had just got out of the hospital and in need badly for the medications the lady I spoke to didn't seem to really care and was cutting me short and to mention when I 📞 Walgreens somebody put me on hold 32 minutes and was hung up on.I was very polite although they didn't seem like it really mattered that I had my medication I am very disappointed with this Walgreens on Ariana and South Florida avenue Lakeland, FL so if you're wanting your medication be prepared to wait very sad but true😕👎⌛= NO ⭐and for me to post this I had to put one star on it at least if I didn't I wouldn't had been able to post this and to let me say there are some very nice employees there but the pharmacy is no good

Flu shots here are fast and affordable with or without insurance. Staff in and out of the pharmacy are very helpful and nice. Only improvement I would suggest is being open 24 hours. Easy in and out of the parking lot. Store is clean as well as is the parking lot. Shelves are well stocked. Prepared foods are available in the refrigerator case.

They stole my pills. They were to give me 120 pills in my bottle. When I got home I went to take one and noticed the bottle should be full. So I counted them and only had 80. I called and complained to them. And all they did was lie to protect the tech. I asked for her name but they would not give it to me. I have contacted the corporate office of consumer affairs. Waiting to see if they are going to investigate it. She told me this was not the first time someone complained about the same pharmacy. Even the pharmacist lied. This is a serious problem. Don’t go to Walgreens on Ariana in Lakeland. If you do just stay right there till you have counted your pills. Ok. Thanks

Coming into this store is not pleasant it’s not friendly nor employees look like they are happy to be there: I just came back from being on the road, (work) I don’t see the same attitude with employees as I did elsewhere mostly up North East I hesitate to come back yet it’s closer to mom’s were she gets her refills (she’s a cancer patient) so I don’t have a choice. I know and well aware of this pandemic yet if you work there or anywhere please forget your problems we are there to pick up meds or cough medicine for a loved one, in my case myself.Once I recall I could spend hours shopping & looking around now I am stressing because I can’t get out of there quick enough 😒

Friendly staff, as far as medical supplies and medicine is concerned good, however do not bring your photos for development to this establishment. Unles you are willing to wait a longer than usual wait time. David not very helpful, other cashier told me there was no way to find out where my irreplaceable wedding video was, I will however put Thomas apart he was very friendly and knowledgeable wiling to go the extra mile to answer my questions and find out the status of my cd. The 2 stars is for wait time....its been almost a month.

I have used Walgreens for over 10 years in Massachusetts and have NEVER had a problem getting my prescriptions filled. Now that I am a snow bird, I chose to use the Walgreens here on Ariana St. The Pharmacy has done nothing but cause delays and not get my meds filled on time. I am a chronic pain patient and had to wait 10 days for one script to be filled. The next time. They had the med the pharmacist had signed for it the day it was due to be filled and told me it hadn't come in. Yeah.... I am very vigilant to get my scripts in early so they have time to order them and now today when they said my script would be ready at 11 here it is 3:00 and 2 phone calls later still not ready and then they say they don't have enough to fill the full prescription. I am ready to dump this store. The only good thing is the Manager Debbie has been a big help. And I would like to Thank her. But the pharmacy is messed up....

Just transferred to this pharmacy from another major chain as we were sick of the customer service there. When we arrived to pick up our first scripts we discovered the doctor had sent our meds to the wrong location. Shockingly, this wasn't a problem! (It was always a nightmare at that other pharmacy.) The pharmacy tech actually OFFERED to pull them and fill it while we waited. Less than 10 minutes later we were on our way.

I have been waiting days for a prescription they said would be filled in an hour. I went in to have photos printed and waited 25 minutes for a job that took less than 60 seconds. Staff does not go out of their way to get the job done or help you from what I can tell.

Unfortunately one star is the lowest you can rate.Pulled into pharmacy drive through to pick up a prescription. Waited 15 minutes. Even saw a customer inside tell the person behind the desk I was there. Honked my horn, pharmacy person totally ignored me. Drove around, parked. Went inside asked cashier to have on duty management to please meet me at pharmacy.Manager gets back there, asks me what happened, I tell him. His excuse was person probably did not see me. How lame is that. Then the prescription that was dropped off yesterday ends up being an over the counter.Why couldn't the person who took the prescription lets us know that yesterday, or the pharmacy personnel could have called to tell us.As I am leaving the store, manager stops me to ask if everything is now okay. I tell him what I think of the customer service he and the pharmacy tried to provide.If the young man had just come to the drive through window and explained he was the only there and please wait, I would have been okay with it.

Always come to this Walgreens trying to buy pedialite for a sick child and had problems with my chip card so they put it in manually. Well last time I came in the very rude cashier couldn't figure out how to do that so called her manager April was extremely rude to me and said there's nothing she can do. She was so unhelpful and just walked away while I tried to ask her questions. They are extremely unprofessional as I always come in here and never have a problem. But this lady and April the manager were rude and gross!!!

Would give 0 if possible. Worst pharmacy ever, the techs do not make any effort to get my prescriptions on time, there is always some sort of problem EVERY SINGLE TIME. I am type 1 diabetic and need my insulin otherwise I'll die...they do not seem to understand the need to get insulin on time and not have to come back to the pharmacy 4 times in ONE WEEK to get my insulin. The indian guy who works there has been rude to me several times, waiting on other people instead of me and refusing to help. Can't wait to move out of Lakeland and switch pharmacy. Terrible customer service

My daughter and I had covid test schedule today they even sent a confirmation email 20 minutes prior to the appointment time and upon arrival the pharmacy is closed because there's no one there to work they could have at least let me know I drove 45 minutes away from home to be at this location for testing today this is absolutely on professional and absurd. Furthermore I called two different Walgreens and was put on hold for over 15 minutes and I went to a different Walgreens after this Walgreens told me that I would be able to be accepted because I have a scheduled appointment and all the Walgreens in the area are aware of the situation this was a lie because the Walgreens I went to told me that they could not squeeze me in because they were completely booked out and had not enough testing supplies to incorporate anybody else on today's list this is why I stopped getting my prescriptions through Walgreens in the first place well absolutely boycott this place at all costs

This is my Walgreens. I go here for just about anything that I need on a regular basis. I avoid the other W store at all costs. The workers here are nice and the place is clean. The selection of merchandise is good. The prices are good, and I use the app for coupons and collect the reward points on purchases. The pharmacy staff are also very nice. I have no complaints about this store.
