I was excited today to see they have a small produce area now! I normally go to the one on 540 since it's by my house but today went to the pipkin one on way to my moms. I hope all the dollar generals will do this! I love the stores as they are so quick and easy to grab random items you need but yes, this little produce section is a great new addition!

I wanted to take the time and thank Kathy. I was running store to store today looking for plant pots and she was the sweetest. She was helping me since my 10 off 40 would not come off my total. She was working a 16 hr shift and even though she was working such a long shift. You couldn't tell, true customer service. Thanks Kathy for being so sweet 😊

This morning I went to my local Dollar General. As always the manager Monica is there working with a smile on her face. She is always busy and always has time to answer questions this manager is truly compassionate about her job. She let me know today that she had lost her cat of over 20 years and that she was struggling, I felt so bad for her. She let me know that she goes to work everyday because she knows that people count on her to be the neighborhood store. This woman goes above and beyond she works non-stop she does it with a smile compassion and kindness I just wanted to acknowledge that I myself will always shop at this Dollar General it's people like her that deserve the very most Dollar General can offer to their employees

It's a good quick stop. Usually milk and snacks and such. Maybe toilet paper and bread if you're lucky. They do have coffee and other odds and ends. It's good to have close to your house. This store is particularly clean compared to most that I've been in, but it's VERY NEW. The staff is nice and helpful. Add long as you're not super picky you can grab a lot of stuff here. I DEFINITELY stop here about 10 times a week because it's on my way home.

Has pretty much everything you can think of. Very clean and well maintained store. Their tobacco selection is quite small so they can run out of stock relatively quick. Staff is always friendly and willing to help you find whatever you need. Register lines can back up sometimes but when they do, they can speed through a long checkout line efficiently.

Erica McCann at this location really went out of her way to help me with applying paper money to my cash app.. Did it out of the goodness of her heart...Go girl .world needs more of her. God bless..I would like to share a very expiring experience I had with my last visit to this store about an hour ago..very lengthy so bare with me it's worth it...I went to the store to return something and a very polite employee (Young lady)..get to that in a minute..was very polite and helpful and busy stocking her store.. stopped what she was doing and really took time out of her busyness to help me .ok..I left the store.. after I got home I was so impressed.. riding a bike mind you that I went back to tell her how appreciative I was and grab a bag of ice and a two liter of soda .which I did ..I went out to get my ice and realized that I only had one bag and went back in to get another one.. laying my (PHONE)!! Yep.. down in ice machine..to go in to get the other bag..and I was so moved by her kindness I got on my bike and left my phone on the ice machine...went home not knowing that..put my ice up after getting a glass of soda .sat down and was going to go to dollar general website and give her (a at a girl...).. and couldn't find my phone..my phone is 7 years old .and contains all the evidence of my nasty Divorce that my attorney committed suicide from because he was going to be arrested and my mother passed away from Camp lejune as well as me being a victim to.. everything was on my phone..I looked at the clock and saw I only had 6 minutes left to get there..not knowing if it was there or not..I made it in 4.. and low and behold a customer found it on the ice machine and turned it in..wait that's not all..I get my phone and catch my breath..by this time i really need a smoke i know nastyist habit on earth..but. I realized that I left my cigs .. money wallet everything at home..and she says to me (no worries Hun)..and bought me a lighter...goes to show you..there are a few good people left in this very troubled world 🌎.. I'm still so moved by this... and when possible which won't be long .I'm going to make her (Cass or Cathy)?? When she told me her name I was very frantic..as well as Erica who did a very nice thing also .see earlier review.. very happy and going to reward them very generously..for there kindness.. there needs to be more people in this world like them. Thanks girls..(ladies).. I will (NEVER).. forget my experiences at Dollar General. Won't shop anywhere else ..thanks Ronald Craig Todd..🙏🙏🙏

Pipkin Rd store. I have been so excited to get this dollar general. It had been awesome until I had to use the restroom. I was like WHAT?! This is a brand new store and this restroom needs some SERIOUS attention!!! The sink was filthy. I didn't want to touch it to wash my hands. The toilet looked like it came from the sewer. Thefloor looked like it has not seen a broom or mop in months. Trash all over the floor. The trash can was disgusting also. It's a shame this store is already going down hill. Too bad they don't have employees that care about it. It started off super nice. Turning into a place that I may just pass by.

Usually I like to call stores to ask the employees if they know off hand the availibility of an item. "If they know off hand", because I know it can get busy sometimes but I don't want to end up driving to the store and waste a trip because the item is not in stock.Anywho, the employees is this store are horrible at answering the phone. I just need to know if yall sell sharp white cheddar cheese and sharp cheddar cheese for my baked mac and cheese. Dang.

Second time I have been there. I got some fall season stuff and some supplements. Very nice and clean. I saw only one employee. They should work on it. He was a cashier. If we need to ask something it's hard.

The male cashier that was working the afternoon of Saturday 11/13 should probably not be working with the public as he seems to get extremely flustered over simple math. I shop at DG almost every Saturday specifically to use the coupons in the app. Ive never had an issue using them and I’m very mindful about purchasing what I need to qualify for them. My total was off by $5 due to one of the coupons not applying when it should have, when I mentioned this it started a 15 min argument about math and logic in which I did not raise my voice and was shushed with fingers on my face several times (I did end up raising my voice and using a profanity as I was leaving the store out of sheer frustration- which I regret). Considering I was given 2 different totals each time he rang up my items, I would imagine the issue was due to user error vs their system. I stated several times I would just get my items somewhere else so he could assist other customers, but that only fueled the argument.I do not expect in store employees to be experts on the app or even know every deal that is going on, but if I’m showing you that a coupon in the app should be applying based on what I’ve purchased and I’m doing the math right in front of them on my phone, there really shouldn’t be room for much of an argument. If they’re unable to honor it just say that and let me be on my way. I’ll stick to the DG closer to my house as I’ve never had an issue there usually using SELF check out.

Most of the cashiers don't know anything about the current sales or the rewards program. Prices are marked with the sale from the digital coupons, I clip them in the app and 3 outta 4 don't ring up right. Every time. All cashiers say is sorry and shurge.

Great store, always has a nice selection, the store is very clean , the store is always 100% recovered and always looks nice, the staff is great , all the employees are really helpful and friendly, The manager Sasha is always smiling and willing to help me with all my needs. I think it’s the best Dollar General in the area i won’t shop any where else now..

Nothing good to say. I can't get anyone to answer phones after I was overcharged at this location. How convenient. I wouldn't recommend anyone shopping here, customer service is terrible.
