I’ve had horrible experiences in the past with the pharmacy, but every month I always know it’s a hit or miss with them. The only employee (in the pharmacy) who is always very friendly is Natasha. I’d recommend Walgreens across the street over CVS, they are very polite and there seems to be no issues with waiting forever to get your medication filled.

If the drive thru service is slow enough , why, why would you take walking people in a drive trhu service? That is why there us service inside the stores. There is another lady inside the store... so now I have to wait double for a service. What can I say 🤷♀️ if you drive you come thru the drive thru and if you don't well then you go thru the store. 1 star because the agent inside didn't say anything about it.

I’m leaving CVS Lake Placid as my drug store of choice and finding another. The attitude in the Pharmacy has hit bottom. I have had one of my major prescriptions on “Back Order” for WEEKS and with no explanation thru a text. When I ask at the counter - all I get is sarcasm..

Walked into CVS yesterday to get water pills as my feet were swelling and I need quick relief. I was told by the pharmacist that there is no such thing as over-the-counter water pills. I guess he does not know what Diurex is. Wen to my car, ordered on Amazon, box was at my door when I got home. Really sad that a pharmacist provides inaccurate information when a customer needs relief.

Wouldn’t sell me cold medicine because they said their ID scanner was down. Medicine was not even for me. Went across the street to Publix and they did not even ask for ID. What is the point in all that. I would think a pharmacist has a duty to provide care.

The woman spent 3 days pretending they never got my prescription. Then when I came back and asked the same woman to double check she claimed my insurance wasn't accepted and hung up. I had to wait for her to realize I wasn't just gonna leave and she rudely told me to go to Walgreens to get it transferred. If I could give zero stars I would. This place is full of idiots.

Went to pick up my sick kid’s medicine. They had me to come go home and come back multiple times. Claimed the medication wasn’t ready or couldn’t be found in the system. Finally got the medicine, the girl who waited on me was rude. Didn’t want to fill my prescriptions. Had an attitude. I Checked the bag and they gave me a bottle full of powder. Didn’t even mix the medicine for me

Looking for HP printer cartridge 65 color.. I went to my local Lake Placid ,Florida CVS $16.99 online site said they had some in store so I headed there. Got there, girl behind the counter said it was $16.99 till she got to her New let me show you how to scan your item machine. Justscanned, it was close to $28 my screenshot of the $16.99 I got online didn't matter,shequoted store stock prices could be different. Whatever happened to customer courtesy and the customer being right, most definitely 16.99 and a screenshot proving it did not seem to matter. She was very rude.

Consistently unprepared for virus testing appointments, and prescription pickups. They were unprepared for my first appointment despite being scheduled days in advance, keeping me there for a long time. Finally told me they couldn't figure out how to enter my insurance which had also been provided days in advance, they couldn't provide the scheduled service, and marked me as a "no show" in what looks like a CYA attempt. Another CVS location had no issues on a prior visit. Second appointment went OK (I just self paid despite being covered by insurance). Third time still seemed to be caught off guard for an appointment placed a day prior. Had to wait while the tech scrambled to prepare. Three days later, still no results making the test a bit useless. Finally, be prepared to wait a very long time to pickup a prescription that had been provided days before. Twice I ran out of time, and had to make another trip.

Been using this CVS for 5 years and have never had a quick or easy experience with the pharmacy! I’ve shown up 6-8 hours after a prescription was called in and waited an hour. Frequently spend 30 minutes to an hour in the drive through behind one car waiting to pickup a prescription.

Pharmacy refused to fill a RX for a therapeutic that is proven to reduce covid symptoms and duration of the virus. I will be filing a complaint agains this pharmacist's license. Had the RX transferred to walgreens and they filled it with no problem but only after CVS gave me a run around for several days. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY!!!!!

The guy who works in the pharmacyis Rude. My child was pretty sick and he kept telling us an hour , for 4 hours, then when I called after that he hung up on me . I called back and confronted him and he denied it. Probably going to call corporate, he was rude to my husband a different time as well.

I just switched to this pharmacy from Walgreens , they sure are hard to work with. I've had to call , go there , try online transfer and still can't get my scripts transferred here. I may not be a customer long if this continues. Been dealing with this for three weeks!!

They are literally the slowest pharmacy in lake Placid. Don’t plan on using the drive thru for convenience it will take a minimum of 30 minutes if there are two cars in front of you. Also even if you get the same medicine here every month they are not guaranteed to have it. I had to wait an extra two weeks for mediciation I had filled here every month for over two years because they just chose not to order it. Complaining to the pharmacist does nothing they are still rude and slow.

It's hit or miss when I go there. They could not get my medication my doctor put me on. I asked them why and they won't tell other than they can't get it. Had my doctor put me on something else. At least they could tell my what was going on. The staff there is ok most of the time, but I have experienced some not so nice. When you first pull up in the parking lot you notice how filthy it is. There are leaves and weeds growing out of the parking barricades and along side the curbing. It's not just one spot, it's all over the parking lot. Pitiful to look at. Landscape is overgrown too. Trash mixed in with it. They still had dead love bugs caked up in the front door sills as you walked in. This place is very filthy!!!!!

Had awful experience. I understand the whole no receipt have to put your money on a card bit. So I asked Sarah and Sherry if there was anyway so I didn't have to go home and look for it but I kept on saying I don't remember even getting 1 and at that point I said I never received it so now I'm asking for my copy of my receipt I told me there was no way I'm doing it without receipt . I got upset cause I could tell she was too good to do her job due to the fact that when I first met her did not make eye contact hid her face behind the computer. And to top it off with her attitude of being too good for the store I when I said I'm never coming back here again she said good oh and I just want to add in this is all within an hour same two employees in the store so defintently not theft and when I said there's no way to go back and print the receipt that was within the hour ago she turned the computer around to me and said see I need receipt long story short she called somebody took a couple of seconds no extra function she did it really fast like she knew how to do it and it wasn't a problem for the money to be put on a card other than I do not go there other than Green Dot card and I can't use a card for that have to use cash and thought the smart watch would be a good buy but like the cashier said when I came back I figured you'd be back to return it and claimed she told me not to lose my receipt I'm sure that's good salesmanship that CVS wants their employees to have. Let's just say if you want to avoid coming home and getting so frustrated that you feel the need to write down all this avoid this CVS they are worthless definitely would love to explain this to a corporate office if they want to hear it

CVS Pharmacy in Lake Placid is a very busy store...considering this fact, the staff do an amazing job of assisting people with medications, vaccines, etc. Highly recommend!!!

They have the rudest staff. Complaining does nothing. If my insurance allowed me to use another pharmacy I would switch immediately! Natasha and Nelli are the only 2 who actually help and are nice.

I was surprised that when I went thur drive up window to pu a 150.00 prescription and told her I was feeling sick.Wanted to get Covid rest kit.She said I would have to pull around and go in.Why would they want me in there if I have Covid?

Waiting outside in the drive through for 25+ minutes at the window while pharmacy staff ignores us and waits on every customer inside, which we witnessed. Okay if you're short staffed but it's not fair to make one line wait while everyone else gets serviced.

This is the place to get your meds that's for sure. Staff always has them ready ahead of time. Always helpful. Very nice people. They are way better than Walgreen's.

Been waiting in line for over 20 mins, 4 cars in front of me and two behind.. if they can’t operate due to staffing issues they need to shut down and or allow people to transfer their prescriptions.

Refill Prescriptions called in were not filled on the dates promised in the CVS phone recording. I don't know if it is a new system or new staff. Plus my doctor's refill calls did not get processed. Told me to come back later.

Its the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever been to,often out of stock of my prescriptions and are very rude on the phone when trying to see if they have been filled I don't feel that they care about the people they are there to help

I have been using this pharmacy for 6 years now and in the past few months I have had lots of trouble trying to get my kids medicine I call 2 days ago 3 hrs after the doc send the prescription and they did not have it ready and when I got a text saying it was ready I went back and lady only gave me one of the medications and she was supposed to give me 2 but I didn't know until I call my baby's doctor saying she was getting worst she told me she send both at the same time 😡😡

I wouldn't even give this place one star, what a joke. Wait for hours on medicine definitely under staffed or they don't know what they are doing. Save time go somewhere else.
