Always a pleasure shopping at my neighborhood DG. I have never had a bad experience. The staff , new and in the past, have always been welcoming, and try their best to make the store run smoothly. In my opinion, I feel as if corporate does not back the staff up enough and maybe should do more to help these employees who keep the store running in this town .Pretty sure DG is racking in the Big bucks in our all community

They have a good selection of things but shopping here isn't pleasant. Staff is kinda grumpy, and it can make shopping uncomfortable. We live nearby so it's one of the only places to shop.

Family dollar seems to be more friendly than the competitor in town. It is my go to place for all supplies. They are strong suits for the two competitor retail stores. But, the friendliness wins hands down!

Good for quick shopping trip but had an argument with cashier when using valid coupons and she would not take them even though they were from the newspaper. Said might be counterfeit, don't know how since they came to me in the Sunday paper but she would not listen to reason. Only problem I had.

Slightly dirty, prices slightly higher than competition across the street, did carry a few items I was looking for and competition did not have. Only one register open for a relatively long line.
