Loved it. See the picture. Jack (the big dog, German Shepherd)made a new friend. He went for a bath and grooming and to the daycare while we did our errands. This was his first time and he loved it. He came home a happier dog. Price was excellent that we plan to bring our husky here and make the doggie daycare a weekly trip!The staff was wonderful and caring. So great to have found them!

Never having used a dog day care and having an appointment to which we couldn't take our pup Mozzie, we were apprehensive but upon seeing the employees with other dogs we felt better. When we returned, Mozzie was happy and wanted to stay longer. We've since taken Mozzie back several times. The employees are great, Colleen especially has been a wonderful help and their prices are more than fair. We'll bring Mozzie back to The Pet Spot any tome we are in the area,

After being treated with disrespect & negativity from multiple groomers in town, I have found our spot. I am the owner of two beautiful, golden doodles, a mother and daughter. Unfortunately, the mother has found herself wallowing in mud and dirt and playing in ponds and I was out of town for a couple of weeks, leaving her with my mother, who didn’t know from Adam how to take care of a golden doodle, especially with their hair care. Therefore, and unfortunately, she was extremely matted & dreaded and there was nothing I could do but to find a good place that would take care of us respectfully without judgment, as that is something I’ve experienced in the past. These guys are kind, professional, willing to help and do a great job. Hayden was very sweet and cordial and I will be using them again for both my daughter fluffs very soon 🙏🏼 thank you for a wonderful local business- I’m honored to have found you guys!

Not a good experience at all.I told the owner I lived out of town, she tells me to have my dog Izzy there on Saturday morning around 7 or 7:30, I did. The groomers don't come in until at least 8. Why have her there that early if not ready to groom? I told the girl at the desk how I wanted her groomed and she wrote it down, guess what they did? Nothing I asked for. They were only suppose to trim her hair around her face, feet and tail and close cut her body. My first experience with this place and last. Waiting on a phone call from the owner, guess that's not going to happen either. Bad business,

Went in for my lab's first nail trim--she was a little nervous. The staff was gentle, quick and professional. The building was clean and organized, prices were very reasonable as well. Definitely coming back!

GREAT PLACE! Please fully read. Kim and her team saved me on a horribly rough morning, the type of morning that makes a person want to throw their hands up into the air and crawl back into bed. After a flat tire repair, I was running about an hour late for work. As I was dropping my puppy off for daycare he decided to go #2 right in their foyer. It was a big mess! But! The Pet Spot staff immediately cleaned it up and mopped the foyer… they had even started bringing the cleaning supplies before I had noticed the mess. Kim and her team were so helpful and reassuring it felt like family. They saved the day and took great care of my spoiled little fur-ball.

I have been to Pet Spot over several years. IMHO the quality has constantly increased with some steps back occasionally. I would say that is mostly due to the various groomers. At this time in Spring Summer 2013 I would rate them as excellent. The grooming is better. I boarded two dogs who seemed none the worse for wear and quite happy with the experience. I would recommend them for boarding and grooming. I had experience in the past with nicks to my dog after grooming but that was more than one year ago. At this time the groomers seem quite competent and the dogs are relaxed.

I gladly recommend you take your pets for a groom, daycare, or boarding. They are so very friendly, your pets needs are important to them.They treated my pet with lots of care, love and patience, since he was scared. He got the cutest hair cut. Now when I take him, he looks forward to going. The groomers take pride in their work, you can even stay and watch through their window.They have a variety of shampoos to meet your pets needs. They also have merchandise, collars, leashes, bowls, cologne, and cute outfits, to dress your babies up. The prices on everything is very reasonable. When I drop off Oliver to be groomed, I don't have to rush and pick him up, as long as I get there before they close. I always say Oliver is going to his home away from home. He loves their big yard, to run and play with his doggy friends. Daycare is great when I'm at work, he is not home alone, and he is ready for bed when I get home. I will not take him anywhere else!!!!!

When I first moved here I tried them it was good. I believe they've had a hard time keeping groomers. My dog had an shampoo and nails and the second time they trim her to close and nicked her plus didn't do her nails. Not impressed not so clean either. What not return.

Terrible place, take your pet somewhere else. Picked up my dog and her eye was completely swollen shut. They just handed her to me and said absolutely nothing, until I brought it up to them. That right there shows you that they aren’t carefully looking after your pet when your not there. The vet said she had a ulcer on her and that it looked like she had been cut. My dog was super traumatized and it took months for her eye to recover and for her to start acting like herself again. When I first started coming here everything was okay but something has changed recently. The way the owner dealt with the issue was problematic and unprofessional, save your self the trouble and just pay the extra money to go somewhere else.

We have taken our dog to Pet Spot for several years. She is an older dog, very sweet and gentle-poodle + maltese mix. She has difficulties standing while being groomed and this is an inconvenience to the groomers. We took her there on Friday, 2-10-17, to be groomed. When I picked her up, she was very subdued-generally she is not after being there most of the day. I was advised that they did not want to do any more grooming of her because of her age. It was suggested that I take her to the vet or to be sure to tell the vet that they could bring her to them if something happened while she was in their care. Hmmmm, This sounded like a kind and caring thought for our dog. Our dog does have some issues with coughing but between Friday and Saturday, it was very intense. We left home for a little while and came home to find our dog bleeding from her mouth. By Sunday, she was very lethargic and would not eat. My husband took her to the vet on Monday and she seemed to get a little better. On Wednesday, she ate nothing and vomitted many times so he took her to the vet again on Thursday and he was shown bruises and scrapes on both of her sides and belly. The only thing out of her ordinary routine was her trip to the groomers. This dog has never been harmed in any way and it seems rather odd that all of these problems arose after her visit there. Needless to say, she will never go there again. She is much too important in our lives to allow her to be mistreated. $48 for grooming and $144 in vet bills. not worth it for her to be abused.

have been going to the pet spot grooming in lake city,Florida for the last 5 years and have been very happy with the way they treat my dogs and other animals that come in and me. prices are reasonable and they take care of animals the way you want, have never been disappointed with outcome. so if you have a animal that needs grooming, come on down

Took my 7 year old Morkie mix. This dog is the sweetest oldest thing ever I've always been told he was the best dog ever. An hour into his grooming I was told I had to come pick him up because he bit the groomer and scratched the owner they said he was to aggressive I would have to take him to the vet to be sedated to finish ( he was only half done) (the vet told me they had no problem with him and no sedation was needed.)I asked the secretary at pet spot how he could bite with a muzzle and they said the didn't know hmm? They give me my dog back and he is CRYING DOG TEARS STREAMING DOWN HIS FACE. And he was shaking to the point my husband was scared he was having a seizure. Needless to say I will NEVER take my dog there or recommend them to anyone.

My dogs have been going to Pet Spot for many years, my first 2 dogs were Maltese which are long haired dogs. They kept them groomed beautifully. Both of those dogs passed away of old age and I got a new Maltese. Bentley loves to go to Pet Spot! As soon as we head that way and do the u turn he starts hopping up and down. I board him there sometimes also. He is very well taken care of.

Trish Saypack is one of the best groomers out there! I worked with her years at an animal hospital in New Jersey and she is a master of her trade! I wouldn't trust my babies with anyone else.
