I've given this location three chances, but as they say, "Three strikes and you're out!" I will have to agree with the other comments about the insane prices here. I would love to know how they justify charging so much. If you're looking for basic shirt, pants or shorts you might find something affordable. But don't even step into the hard goods section. Even if you can find something for 50% off in their colored tag sale, you'll be paying way over retail. And the overhead music is so loud! Never will I donate here, shop here again or recommend this place to anybody. The pictures I've added show prices for a metal lamp (that has been spray painted), a glass bowl and a glass vase. I literally found the EXACT same bowl on ebay for $24.00.

Please, y’all if you want to donate to help people in need through GWs just know l went inside to get some clothes to wear and couldn’t afford to pay for a couple items that anyone can get for used slacks starting at $10 and up to $34 just for a used slacks, jackets are $24 up to $99 if the item wasn’t used, shoes is $34 to $60 used so l personally couldn’t buy a used shoes l liked for $49.99 it’s 2024 and I have no words left to say about how ridiculous their prices are and l guarantee that no one from special needs can afford buying from goodwill here , please donate your stuff to a small thrift stores around here instead because l was able to buy a couple stuff from thrift store for way way less and that’s what is all about to help keep someone warm not just make free money, l hope this will be helpful for others and for their admission to check out for this store and make it affordable for others, thanks

Extremely high high prices for things that are at least 15 years or older . Would have bought a few things but asking prices for something that was donated or already been clearly used . Not counting the return policy isn't even fair by any means. Hopefully they'll realize at times are tough for everybody and this is sometimes the only store you can shop at..

I’m sorry, but anybody over the last year who says this is a good location and has fair pricing is either a corporate person, an employee, or hasn’t been in a year or so.This location use to be ok (at least, prices were a ton worse than the other goodwill in the area), but now is LUDICROUS.Went in this week - looked at shoes. Pair of New Balance on the shelf for $50, pair of dress shoes for $40. This continued the entire time. Only shoes at $10 were cracking leather, or mangled.Want a suit? Probably dropping $30 on a used suit they got for free? A shirt? Anything decent looking will run you $10+. Save yourself some time and go support a local business with new clothing around that price. Goodwill management needs to remember, truly, they get this stuff for FREE. The point of thrift stores is not to play reseller, it is to offer cheap goods for the community members who may need it while using tax free status to keep overhead down and donate their proceeds to their cause.Skip this one, the other local goodwill is far, far more fair.

I was excited when a new Goodwill opened so close, but prices have gotten ridiculous. Had a few items in the cart, but kept seeing things priced WAY TOO high, so left without buying anything. Sad thing is, people who really need to shop clothing second hand can't afford Goodwill prices. Thank goodness we still have the church sponsored thrift stores .

This was my favorite goodwill, but not anymore. The prices went up ($7-$8 for a tank top, sometimes randomly way more), there are no dressing rooms, and they won't do refunds. What is the point of raising prices if you can't hire more staff to work registers? There was a line almost out the door and only two or three open registers when they have many more than that. Bring back the dressing rooms at LEAST. Buying used is a whole process as it is, but to take away the one thing that guarantees you it'll be worth your purchase? And then you raise prices on top of that??

Terrible experience. They don't have changing rooms and when I tried to try my stuff on in the bathroom they wouldn't let me. The shorts I got were too small and I had to return them. They don't even give returns in cash. They gave me a gift card for the amount I spent. So I had to buy more shorts or it was useless. If I could give negative stars I would.

The prices at this store has gone insane! New prices on clothes and used shoes. The CEO's are really cleaning up. I will not donate to this store anymore. I've been a few times recently and I see people buying far less then say a year ago. I know that I'm not the only one and it's getting around. Fat cats make a killing

I don't even know what to say about this store other than who is pricing these items. You can go and purchase this stuff brand new if you pay these prices. Resellers if you're reading this just know you are part of the problem. I'm sure who ever is pricing these items are on Google seeing what Resellers are selling them for. Shame on you goodwill for allowing such prices from nothing but donations. And to the people pricing these items how do you even justify in your head this is right to do. The only good thing I can say is the store is clean. Goodwill is not a retail store.

No refunds and no dressing rooms to try on. I was profoundly disappointed since I purchase to keep which is the reason I try on clothes. I usually leave with mutiple bags. Can’t and won’t now. Short sighted management decision has all the appearances of greed from this store. Also!!! No cash refunds on items that I may return because of the inability to try on clothing. The place where the dressing rooms were is wasted space for what they put there. Clothing sold in volume is a cash cow. I was a board member and a volunteer of thrift stores. Volume selling for excellent and low prices along with dressing rooms are required to get the best income. My review Prior to the no dressing rooms: From 2020 to Fall of 2023, This place is our go-to place. It is organized, well stocked and pleasant. The dressing rooms are plentiful and I have brought my nieces here to get their prom dresses as well as other needed items. I wanted to write this before I write my other review because of my visit today.

This is the most expensive goodwill you will ever go to. I bought an electric item for 200 as I was checking out the lady tells me I can return it if it doesn't work. We'll it doesn't work I took it back and they would only give me a gift card to there goodwill or the ones close to orlando. There i are not dressing rooms they want to give to 3 days to try on items and if they don't fit you are stuck with goodwill gift card. Worst Goodwill in Central Florida.

2 star because at the end of the day, the employees here are still keeping the store presentable and open. So they deserve a credit and not to be punished for a higher up decision... unless they were somehow involved in the store changes. Then this would be a message for everyone involved. This goodwill no longer has anywhere to test an electronic or try on a shirt (as in no fitting rooms). They do, however, offer you a spectacular "3-day return" policy. Within this policy, they will not return your funds to the card or cash you paid with, they issue it to you on a gift card for their store. I do not feel like that is a correct way to handle business and honestly the lack of consideration to the customer from a store who's product is literally used goods and clothes. Also, the fact the complete terms were not mentioned when asked specifically about how the new return policy worked was not a nice touch either. But I'll count that one on me for not specifically asking the step by step. There should be the staple resources to test and try on as needed. This is basic and has been a staple since I've been going to goodwill since childhood. Why did you feel the need to change/remove this feature?Another point I'd like to add, there have been a couple times I have found items in this goodwill, that are priced higher than if you were to go to the original store and purchase it new. And before anyone comes after me and says 'well, just go to the original store and buy it cheaper there..' I applaud you on you ability to understand the circumstance, but my reason behind mentioning it to begin with is to point out that this it a Goodwill store. A place for donated goods to be sold off at a discounted or even slightly reduced cost as opposed to going to main chain stores and purchasing new for full price. There is no logical reasoning other than a few speculative points, such as greed or disregard (which are illogical in this case) that a used item would be priced more than what the item sells at new. The kicker is. Some of the items I have personally explored on even had the price tag or sticker from the original store still on it, clearly marking the inconsistencies. If someone can make it make sense, please do so. Otherwise, the silence leaves a big gap of negative speculation toward this store.

I bought a couple leather backpacks here for $9.99. No clothes or other items. Overpriced. Not the same floor plan or new products like Paddock and Oxford. This is my least favorite Goodwill in the area. Oxford is my go to. Great products, dressing rooms, good pricing, and many new items.

Really Nice goodwill But the prices are way too high and unreasonable for free donated stuff. There are other Goodwill's in the area that do not price their goods so high..why would you buy something used for the same price it would be brand new. Management needs to reconsider it's pricing system or it will never be a great goodwill with increased sales. Remember people donate these items based on the premise of "Goodwill" not greed.

Volume is the way to keep a thrift store in business. In the last 5 months, the prices have increased to crazy-I wanted a red vest today and the sales price was 40.00. The original tag was on the garment and it was 99.00. The prices and no dressing rooms and no cash returns when garments cannot be tried on is not going to increase and maintain volume. My experience is from a very nice Thrift store where volume sales is what brought in customers. Dressing rooms and cash returns if returned in 1 day. I left the lady lake goodwill without a purchase because I could not find a way to try on clothes discreetly. I am hoping the current stance of management reverses sooner rather than later. I will be donating other places where the prices for shoppers are more in line with donated items for budget minded shoppers.

Prices are off the hook!! I actually asked an employee why the prices were so high. They told me they use goggle lens and price everything according to what asking prices are on line. You can ask a million dollars for something on line but if it hasn’t sold than it’s worth ZERO. They don’t get it. I won’t shop there and I won’t donate there ever again!!

Lots of stuff. Prices are HIGH. Friendly, helpful employees.Goodwill use to be my go to store. There are other thrift stores in area that have a lot better prices. Goodwill has become a corporate money maker.

Wanted to buy 3 suits but ended I asked for the fitting room they said they don’t have any, so I left them there and walked out empty handed because you can’t buy any clothing without trying them to make sure they fit and don’t waste your money.

Not because of any reason besides that they priced pieces why higher than they should be. Used clothes no matter what shouldn’t be more than 10-15dollars. You can go to the goodwill in Oxford and the same type of shirt will be 4-6 dollars that’s 9-12 dollars here.

They have taken away the option to plug-in anything, they guarantee everything has been tested and works. But I was trying to purchase something that I wanted to see what it looked like because it was a lighted picture. The manager told me to take it up front and have them plug it in for me. The cashier said that is against corporate policy. We have four managers so she didn’t know who said that. She offered to walk back and check but why should I have to waste my time when I was already given permission to have it checked. It sounds like not Everyone is on the same page. And for that they lost a sale.

The store is clean and has a great layout… the purses are ridiculously priced!! Multiple name brand purses that were fakes and ripping were priced as if at a boutique. Even the name brand purses in good condition were more expensive than Poshmark, eBay, and even some department stores. Donated items should not be priced like this.

Great place. I would've given 5 stars if the guy in the drive thru pick up area hadn't snapped on me. I was just trying to help with the last little item bringing it in. Should've said nicely- sorry ma'am, can't come in here for safety reasons. Not- Hey get outta here!! You can't be in here!! And as i stepped back the other guy prompted him- For insurance n safety. too insincere.

High priced for a place that is all been donated to, no fitting rooms and only 3 days for a return..exchange only no refunds, what a better way to keep collecting from consumers and raking the money in. Clothes are so full on racks that you can't look at nothing, housewares is very unorganized and top dollar for junk.

The man in electronics had told me the set of speakers I was looking at would be 45 dollars for both. When we went up front and I waited in line I was told they were 89 a piece. That's what they cost brand new. The way this place is ran is a joke. They are not what they used to be.

I will never shop here again. They have Permanently closed the dressing rooms and expect you to buy their donated clothes without trying them on and for no good reason nor will they refund you the money that you spend should you get home and the clothes not fit😂 they will only give you a credit so you can take different clothes home to try on 😂I hope this place goes out of business because it’s a scam! These are donated clothes they’re getting for free and have also recently started reselling for almost as much as new. I wish I never donated any of my stuff to them from now on. I won’t anymore. Disgusting taking advantage of people in this way greed has taken over goodwill

Overpriced junk. Everything they get donated is priced based on eBay. Greedy company that actually doesn't do anything positive for the community that they say they do.
