The store is very similar to Sam’s and Costco, but without the crowds of people. The environment is far more relaxing.The pricing is competitive and you have the ability to utilize coupons that you can digitally clip in store or prior to arrival.

Fine to shop here. Been shopping at bjs maybe ten years or better. I want to get out quickly so I self scan on my phone and then have to have the door man rescan everything. That makes no sense . For that alone you get four stars, everything else is great. I also understand because of shoplifters and all. Still yuck.

Tire center is horrible to go to the guys sit there waiting on appointments when you have a nail in your Tire you'd expect a Tire center to accommodate you same day to get you back on the road this wasn't a Tire they needed shipped in it was a Tire that needed a patch from a screw that got embedded in the Tire. I needed to get back on the road and they just scheduled me for the next day is the best they could do. In any emergency that you need something done just don't come here. The two guys where not busy whatsoever and where just waiting on appointments. When I first got new tires here they weren't properly aired up and I had to pump some air back into them myself. I eneded up going to another bj's where they happily took care of me no appointment needed same day got the patch done.

There was a so called “brisk” van was parked in front of me, as my friend and I couldn’t get out, almost got my friend’s car scratched because of that. I have to squeeze it in. Hell, that man was completely rude and I asked nicely at first to move a little bit so we could get out and he have the nerve to say no. So I’m gonna ask you directly, MAKE SURE CARS COULD GET IN AND OUT WITHOUT THIS ISSUE! Make sure nothing is in the way. Thank you so much.

Horrible horrible experience at deli each and every time. With a line of people there is usually one worker. If there are 2 they move like snails. Meanwhile there are 2 workers giving out samples with no one there. Why can't one of them come over and help the deli. Get smart BJ's

2/1/24 shopping in club #390 experience was good, but then purchased fuel @14:08:13 pump 4. There were two male employees there, not helping customers and when I told the younger man that a woman needed help, he just walked away. The lady persisted and only after that the BJ’s employee assisted her.My observation of those two employees was that I would never hire them to work for me. They demonstrated an unfriendly attitude and they walked around together not assisting customers.Bad experience

Signed up for BJ's last week. Multiple items we purchased were near or at the freeze or used by dates. I would not recommend buying from BJ's.Very disappointed with my shopping experience there.

DO NOT BUY TIRES AT ANY BJ'S!!!!! We did and now one of the tires has a nail in it. Well, service said the tire would be in today, but no tire....maybe Saturday. Then if it does come in, there are NO appointments to get the tire on!!! All tire centers have only ONE person working.....ugh! Mike B was very rude because he is the only guy working.

It was the worst experience I have ever dealt with!!!! When you sign up the first time for membership, you automatically authorize BJ's to renew your membership.Unbelievable!!!!I prefer SAM'S any day.

Promised me $20 after I spent $60. I spent several $100 the first day. I did not receive the $20 reward so I stood in line in the store. The girl there was totally confused on how to get the $20 credit. She said to read the fine print and had highlighted it all because the print was so small, she couldn't evern read it. My wife went back a week later to try to get the $20 they promisaed. No luck. They said they could not speak to her since she wasn't the primary card holder. They have rules similar to HEPA and won't discuss rewards to anyone other than the primary card holder. The reward promised $20 if you spend at least $60 within the first 30 days and then you have to alert the store within 24 hours that you spent the $60. In any case, I walked out without $20. I tried to cancel my membership but was told I couldn't do that until next year. No notice will be gi ven when it renews at approx $110/year, it will just appear on credit card statement without notice unless you cancel no sooner than 48 hours before it auto renews. What a rip Their prices aren't great. Not really sure why we joined this "Club".

Visited for the first time today. Had no issues finding anything I needed and then some. Store was very quiet, clean, and all workers we interacted with were friendly. Such a different experience to Sam’s Club. I will choose this place over that hole any day!

I shopped at the Lady Lakes store today. I purchased a $28.59 slap of Salmon, brought it home and it was spoiled, smelly and slimy. This stores meat section is the worst. I will be headed back to Costco and Sam’s. Horrible!

I have been a Sam's member for years! Customer service - 4, would have been a 5 except the pushy AT&T guy got under my skin while I was trying to checkout via mobile app. Mobile app - 1 .... Does not allow EBT .... Lack of updated technology. Prices - 3 ..... Sam's beats on many things. Checkout - 2 ....Asks you to put in coupons after it automatically takes them off?!?! Where was I .... WINN-DIXIE? FINALLY .... THE DINING - 1 .... LACK OF EDIBLE OPTIONS. Condiments are NASTY. THE KETCHUP AND MUSTARD "PACKETS" WERE WATERED DOWN AT BEST. Pretzel without cheese dip or another option? Burnt pretzels at that. Burnt cookies. My wife did not even finish the hotdog. All beef? Did not taste like it to her. Not very happy with the membership right now. We will see.

I shopped at the Lady Lakes store . I purchased a chicken tacos set which date 3/3/24 brought it home and it was spoiled, smelly .This stores meat section is the worst. first time I brought steak worth $30 Horrible rotten ! Now chicken tacos

I have been a Sam’s Club Member for a long time but when BJ’s opened a new location in Lady Lake I canceled my membership to join BJ’s because I wasn’t happy with how Sam’s Club employees treated their customers. They’re just rude and have a I don’t care attitude when a customer has an issue. The past two months that I’ve went to BJ’s I don’t know what the problem is with the women who over see the self checkouts. Last month the BJ’s app wasn’t working on my phone and I couldn’t clip or add the coupon to the app and I was trying to explain to the Latin woman that it wasn’t ringing up right and before I could finish explaining to her that the app wasn’t working for me, she rudely said it’s because you need to clip the coupon and walked away to the post in the corner. I’m like really? That was your response and you turn your back and walk away without solving the issue I was having. So I followed her and I tried to explain to her that the app wasn’t working and she wanted to talk over me and not let me finish explaining that I couldn’t clip the coupon because their app wasn’t working. She snapped at me and said I’ll give you the price this time but next time you have to clip the coupon. I was like really upset now because I’ve worked customer service for 20 plus years and you don’t treat or talk to your customers like this. I ended up asking to speak to her manager and he tried to help me to get the app working and we both tried 4 times at least by me creating a new password, logging back in and it still just didn’t work. He apologized and understood my frustrations and he took care of me as a customer and diffused the situation and I was very grateful. Well yesterday my 2nd time here me and my brother were in the self checkout lane and we both had separate orders. I see this woman glaring at me and saw her lips moving but couldn’t hear what she was saying but I could tell she was directing what ever she was saying at me and starting walking over towards us and mumbled something but she diverted to another customer to my right. I asked her what she said and she didn’t repeat what she had said and she left. Me and my brother were continuing to scan our items when she approached us again and said next time you need to check out with a cashier because you have too many items. No one was behind us. We weren’t holding any customers up and we had a total of 30 items. The sign said no more than 20 items which we never noticed before but had she not assumed we simply didn’t want to use two shopping carts when we do our shopping together but separate. She was nasty and rude and I deal with enough attitude with drivers on the road just to drive almost 45 minutes out of my way to come deal with rude employees. If you don’t like your job find another one. I’m an adult and I’m very conscientious and respectful of other shoppers but I don’t like being treated in a condescending way when I’m a paying customer and I pay a membership fee. I can shop anywhere. I don’t need to give you our business but if it continues I won’t be back. Someone needs to address Rose’s customer service etiquette because it really is not necessary to treat customers the way that she came at us and approached in the combative way that she did.

The lady at the quick service food counter is my 3 year old son's "buddy". He loves seeing her to get a "big cookie". Such a sweet lady and he loves seeing her everytime we go!

This location is big, well stocked, clean, and the staff has all been friendly the several times we’ve been in there. They have a couple of items we really enjoy that Sam’s doesn’t sell, and competitive prices on the overlapping items. I’m a fan of the coupons and have gotten some good deals from them. Overall we’ve been happy with our membership.

Waited in line to purchase ticket from liquor store. Lady in front of me, man behind me. The register person made the lady wait. Then looked at me, I just needed a ticket, was told to wait because gentleman behind had liquor! Didn't realize liquor sales came first!

I've been a member of BJs since March of this year, and I am very impressed with this store and its staff. Very clean and organized, well-stocked, reasonable prices (for gas as well), professional associates, and very kind deli staff. A great place both on a budget and with extra to spend!

I have to voice my opinion on this last outing to bj's in Lady Lake FL. My check out time 2:14 pm on 9/24/23. I had stood inline for 35 min prior to checkout with 1 couple in front of me who had 3 items. 4 employees were unable to correct an ad price 2 of which were managers and instead of voiding out their items and bring them to customer service we were told another line would open up and they would move our items over. Of course they weren't as concerned enough to take the initiative to do it when they mentioned it. 10 minutes later a cashier loaded up our cart to scan at another register. If it weren't that I had perishable items on the belt I would have left. No apologies were made to us for the inconvenience and the other cashier didn't seemed as tho she wanted to be there and do her job. This is just a review I'm writing to vent of my disappointment. We only had 38 items to purchase which would had of been out in 15 min.

I have been a Sam's Club Member for 9 years. Always satisfied with their products and helpful Customer Service. Decided to do a walk-thru of this new BJ's. I was not impressed with the quality of the clothes and meats. I see the have lowered their membership from 55 dollars to 20 dollars. Not for me. My guess is they will be closed by Christmas.

The guy checking the receipt think only cause I'm Latin i was stealing the receipt was missing a piece cause the machine messed it up at the bottom he was trying to make a issue out of it. They should put non racist people at the door to avoid a problem.

This BJ'S seems to have a lot of problems. Went today and there were lots of bare shelves. I asked if they were closing down and was told they were having problems with computers and orders coming in. Employee said they have been out of stuff for weeks. We drove 30 minutes to go there. Once Costco in Clermont opens we will be cancelling our membership.

The design of the gas station is horrendous, at best. Should have made it parallel to the store to allow more room for the long line of cars that has been there most times I've went. Went there today and waited for probably 15 minutes. Person in front of me went up the attendant station so it was an unnecessarily long wait by the time they were assisted and came back to fill their tank. Finally got up to the pump and the screen said "Pump busy. See attendant". Grabbed an attendant who comes up and says "That's why this pump (on other side of the one I was at) is closed because it's doing the same thing. You'll have to get back in line." I was utterly shocked. I don't care why the other pump is down, I didn't pull up to that one, now did I??! You mean to tell me after waiting for 15 minutes, and mind you I've got groceries that need to be frozen or refrigerated, you want me to get back in line and wait all over again because the pump went down? That's unacceptable. I left. As for the inside of the store, it's clean and well stocked. Some prices seem a bit high. Some products have an extremely limited selection of brands, so there are some things I choose not to purchase there because I refuse to pay that price and "settle" for the selection. AT&T sales people are a complete nuisance as well. Sadly, I'd say the cons outweigh the pros and at this time, I'm not sure if I'll renew my membership.

Was in the bakery department today and noticed a bug infestation in several boxes of their baked goods. When I brought it to the employees attention all she said was “ the little buggers really like these things “ and then never checked the other boxes. So I gave her the benefit of my doubt and waited near the bread area and still nothing. Health department will be called today

I'm so glad my DH knew to stop at Sam's Club for gas, if was $.50 less a gallon there. We planned on checking out the store before buying a full year's membership(we have memberships at Costco and Sam's) we were happy to read online that they offered a free one day pass. The person checking for membership cards had absolutely no idea what we were referring to and had to get a supervisor, so we waited. When she returned she informed us that they were all expired. She didn't see fit to offer us any alternative...We won't be back.

Called for tire prices and the man acted like I was bothering him and was short, snappy and rude. Enough so that I decided to buy 4 tires at Firestone, even though it was more expensive.Just because the man at Firestone took the time to explain all my options and gave me all the prices out the door. This is my second experience at this BJ’s that the employees are just plain RUDE !!! I am a member but will not be going back . I am going to join Sam’s club down the road!

I have been a member of BJ's for over 10 ten years. I love BJ's. I can get so many things here so much cheaper than I can at Sam's and many other stores, especially my meat. In fact, I recently got a Sam's membership and hardly ever shop there because their prices are so much higher than BJ's and they don't carry many of the brands I use and when they do have a brand I use it is much higher in price than BJ's. I live on a very tight budget so I am always cost comparing. I can use BJ's coupons as well as manufacturer coupons when I buy my products at BJ's. Sam's does not do this. The employees here are very kind and helpful. They do check your receipt when you go to exit the building after making your purchases, but so does Sam's and Costco. There are always plenty of carts, either in the cart corrals or up near the front doors. The premises are always neat and clean and the products are very easy to find.

Employees for the most part in this store are rude and obvious they don’t like their jobs and do not want to be bothered by customers. I really would cancel this membership if it weren’t for the fruits & veggie section of the store. Husband likes gas pumps at this store over a nearby Sam’s Club. Just wish manager or someone would improve upon employees’ attitudes.
