This is my go to feed store. High quality products, extremely friendly staff, and cheap prices. I've compared the prices to tractor supply and have found that dog and puppy shots are cheaper. They carry home made dog treats, and have experts that can tell you about all the products in the store. I was unsure what to do to start gardening but thanks to them I grew sweet potatoes and now have 8 strawberry plants. Honestly I can say I love them there. It's like seeing family every time you walk in.

Listen this is your neighborhood feed and sees buy SO MUCH MORE. service is stellar. They always have amazing fundraisers and neighborhood events. If you want small livestock, gardening etc and advice. This is the ONLY PLACE to go

Well Seed and Feed was amazing when I walked in they had a supply all sorts of things I was so curious I spent a lot of time walking around and checking everything out. I am a microgreen Grower so I wanted to give standard Feed and Seed a chance with their seeds! So far germination rate has been great my plants are growing well even bought a few baby plants out of the nursery which I've transplanted are in doing amazing! I do plan on going back to the store often the staff was very accommodating Chuck was nice I can't remember everyone else is names but everyone is very helpful I always a pleasant experience. Overall I can't say there's anything bad about it you just got to go for yourself and check it out. They have rabbits they have all sorts of baby chicks they even had a really cool looking rooster, they have a very big seed section with a great selection of all sorts of seeds and feed, and you'll find all sorts of organic products that you can use for your animals and or growing purposes. If you're looking for healthy high-end dog food or cat food this is the place too! Prices are great! And I'll leave some photos below go get them a visit and enjoy!

Haven't been here in years but as I remember you can always find hard to locate items here. Also get the free calendar with such good information for 2024! Enjoyed the visit especially the memory grandma raised chickens & we got chicken feed from here.😊

The employees were helpful assisting me getting my large bags of manure to my car. They assisted me locating the items I needed. Very friendly. The prices were less than Lowes and Home Depot. I went to both the chain stores first, more than once and they didn't have what a needed for my garden. Then I remembered STANDARD FEED from my childhood. Dad would take me with him to pick up what he needed for his garden and his farm animals, mostly chickens. So I gave STANDARD FEED a call and Bam!! They had what I needed and the cost was less. A lot less!!! The little bitties are so cute. I can't wait to take one home. When I'm better able to care for a pet. I also picked up some tomato plants. STANDARD FEED has downsized quite a bit since I was a child but they still have the items needed for taking care of animals and plants. Most of all they still have employees that are willing to answer questions and help me out when I need it. They still have that down home, Southern appeal.

We love this place. Never knew about it until my wife hatched some chicks at school. We went here for much needed supplies and found even more chicks. Loved that they were able to rehome our roosters for us. The staff is always very knowledgeable and extremely friendly.

Best place in Jacksonville for livestock / pet supplies. Their flea pills for dogs are about 30% of the price my vet charges and they work just as well.
