First time visitor and was very surprised. The staff was very kind, when I came across a staff member through the isles; I was greeted. The store was very orderly and clean. And the staff was working hard to keep store organized. Gave it 3 stars because not all items were marked with prices.

They put the wrong prices on things and when you show them that they did a mistake they call the customer stupid and when she asks for the Manager, they say they're the manager and that she's not wrong. Even though the price on the box and the price on the grill they had put together was a whole $30 difference will never shop here again

Why did they Jack up the price on the after Christmas markdowns this is price gouging they took the time to RIP every price label off every remaining Christmas tree which was originally 21.99 with 50% off you would have pay around 12.00 instead they stickered the box for 29.99 went up 8.00 the things companies do to rip you off someone took the time to rip off almost or try to cover up with tape the original price of 21.99 then they price stamped the trees for 29.99 really roses

ROSES...we went to all 5 locations in Jacksonville on the same day. Thanks Google GPS. Why you ask? Was looking for a specific item. Found at least 30 of the item we were looking for. Worth the ride. 2 full size Roses, 3 Express. We bought other stuff. I grew up with Roses so it was a piece of nostalgia. The diversity items were very prolific in a few of the stores. Good day trip.

If I could rate the employees I would say -0 my experience 1st and last time in this store Lem Turner Rd very rude staff unprofessional and disrespectful kinda gh@# cashiers. One female employee with afro puffs was helpful. Never will I spend money there again.

A cashier name and.Jackie was very rude and disrespectful rushing us because it was almost time to close and as she ringing up our items she started to say hurry up we finna close like we had control of her ringing up our items and then I told her about her customer service and she applied at this job not me. So as I walk outside after getting cashed out I told the manager on her and she walks behind me because she knows I was gonna tell on her she began to tell the manager we tried to steal something. Like very awful rude liar. She needs to be fired

Went in there for the first time and someone stole my wallet however the cashier's were not at all concerned or motivated to help me. Called the cops. Then they acted liked they cared.Not okay with this location. Southside is much better.

I love to buy my lounger clothes from here they are very ,very nice and soft feeling, also tee shirts, housewares items, pictures with Godly Bible verses, sign of,word of the Bible, bathroom decorating, kitchen decorating odds and ends of making to beautify your home room by room love this place Come on now get up and go and fine you a Roses or maxway Department store You will fall in love with both of these Stores

Building is old. Parking lot is run down. Great deals on household cleaning stuff, etc. If you have the time to look thru everything, you can even find some good deals on clothing. They have grocery items too. Pretty much another Big Lots without as many "seconds".

Sooo I purchased Garland for my Christmas tree and it was very pretty! When I put it on my tree, it looked silver so I went to exchange it for the darker blue, they didnt have it so I just wanted my Garland back!! They gave it away to someone who did not pay for it so I was issued a refund!! NOT THE POINT!! THEY GAVE GOODS AWAY I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR AND I WALKED OUT WITH MY MONEY BACK! GLAD I SAVED MY RECIEPT BUT NOT THE POINT!!! I WANTED MY GARLAND BACK THAT I PAID FOR!!!! IT WAS FOR MY CHRISTMAS TREE!!! VERY, VERY UPSET!!!😡🤬😠🤬

I love roses they always have a great variety of plus-size clothes that are actually fashionable. The price is great I can get at least four items for less than $50. Even though the place can be quite Junkie I still love roses better than some of the other commercial places.

This store is also a neighborhood store right off of them Turner it's a nice story you can find a lot of different variety of things in their women's clothes men's clothes children's clothes house appliances house Decor curtains sheets comforters I mean it's an all-around store for whatever look thing that you need on a budget you can find there so you don't find some pretty nice stuff there sometime on sale so I kind of freaked with there on a regular basis I like the store.

These shopping conditions are HAZARDOUS I cant imagine working a shift. Was in here 15 minutes or so and walked out with armpits of sweat. Face sweating especially because I had my mask. The community is complaining and they dont care. Calling the BBB and news stations before the month is out.This location doesn't even show up on the BBB website.

They are what our community needed. Whenever I would go to Columbia SC we'll stop by if we left something we needed behind. If you're just with a home, you can find everything you need there. The associates are great. They make coming back to Rose's good.

My girlfriend got me addicted to shopping at roses. Quality products and merchandise at reasonable prices is what keeps me coming back there. I just wish they had an app. Maybe they knew I should check into that. But yeah I love shopping at roses. I frequent about three or four other stores in Jacksonville. It's a good place to splurge for Ballers on a budget like me.

I absolutely love Roses.. I c people complaining about the condition of the store but how do u think they keep prices down. Would u rather find great deals u brag about or keep it warm enough and cool enough for every different people's individuals preference.

Low quality clothing!!!! I bought some scrubs there, and although they stayed stiff wash, after wash, after wash, they fit. Wander over to the other side..... Almost everything we've bought or try on either fits funny in the store or don't try on and it fits funny at home or doesn't survive the first wash. The rest of the store seems great. Usually no lines, great discounts on other items. They even sell some hard to find candy that us 30-40 year-olds would remember. With them having some of everything in there, it's like a Walmart. With a huge section of bad clothes.

They have great prices on all of your household needs and groceries too it's just the air conditioner nor the heating works in the place so dress for whatever the weather is outside cuz that's what it's going to be inside the store

Roses is a great discount store. I often go there to get Easter dresses and someone's home goods and decorations as well. The prices are great, but the store isn't always in order.

Jacksonville you need to be ashamed for the way the stores on the Northside are being kept. Not only do our minority senior citizens have a food desert they have poorly maintained stores to shop at. Roses you need to close your store until it is fitting for the public. With a broken HVAC system you should not be allowed to open a store of that size. We are still mid COVID and to attempt to wear a mask and shop in that heat is atrocious. I guess you won’t be satisfied until someone pass out. Do better for the safety of the people.

Always HOT air conditioning never works, long as lines at check out and I guess they’re scared to hire young people to work on the register because after years of people complaining they still don’t have any fast young fast cashiers to help people get out of their hot as store
