Store is NEVER OPEN when it's suppose to be. It has a sign saying that it's been temporarily closed but those same signs have been up for weeks. Cars parked in back and employees inside but doors locked 🔒 very suspicious if you ask me.. SOME of the employees are nice , others just seem to hate thie job or having to work one of the two.

I have been shopping at this Dollar General store for about 18 years now I have a watch staff come and go but I always had a great experience with everyone in there. They have a young guy name, Larry that just left there and transferred to another store I just saw him today over there helping out great guy always helpful everyone in there including the manager. I’m not sure of her name is great. It is my favorite Dollar General store. !

I won’t shop at any dollar general poor customer service they close at 6pm so you only can shop at Walmart they should change there hours on google it’s false advertisement they won’t get another dollar out of me I suggest everyone just to boycott dollar general and shop at Walmart

I show up at 9:30 the same time as employee opening telling me your closed, don’t say your open when your not not!!!!!! Very bad business practice

Pretty put together! The same two people I see up there are pretty polite. I can usually find what I need. One self checkout, one cashier, but it's usually never too busy, so it's in and out.

Whole store is filthy. Restroom is a complete biohazard. Only thing was the staff was friendly. Do not recommend for people with compromised immune systems.

Great! Always pleasant, clean and fully stocked. I only had one issue recently and that was when a patron entered the store with NO MASK and proceeded to walk around the entire store. There was no employee that addressed the customer eventhough the sign on front door clearly states that masks are required.

They have a wide variety of items but usually have problems when the line gets long with waiting too long to open a second register.Good prices on most items, they carry bacon which I am very happy about.Friendly cashiers, no problem with cleanliness, and no issues finding things you need.

I have never seen a store not together or organized. Every aisle has these tall rolling shelves full of items that need to be put on shelves, only two employees in the store every time I come. They Never have change or bags. Customers walking out with items in hand or boxes. Hire some employees!!! Where is the manager or regional manager at??? How can you allow this store to look like this. Is it the area? The people? What!! Who ever the manager is needs to be addressed or replaced by someone that is capable of handling a store. Dollar General makes money and got this place looking a freaking mess!!! 1 star

Store is not organized. You cannot get down the rows to shop because workers are trying to unpack items. Only one cashier is working. Lines are extremely long for checking out and the self check out is never working. The employees are pleasant but they need help.

Dirty and ghetto. No staff. Stay away. Stay far away.EDIT...They have remodeled this location so it is a little better. They have added a self checkout lane which helps. Aisles are updated and better. Still needs more work but it's better than it was.

They had what we were looking for which was ice trays and they're great ice comes out easily and they even have ice trays that make ice for water bottles. They have a lot of great stuff there Plus this location was open after hurricane Matthew and all the power was still out theirs was on but I think it was on a generator. The guy that works there is very funny and is always nice.

I came across this store heading some place else. They have school supplies I don't recall seeing at another family dollar! Very clean and well stocked. They also have a self checkout! Great store, I definitely suggest this location.

I have went in two days ago and bought some honey buns someone had eat some crackers and took the empty wrapper and placed it into the Honey Buns I did not realize it till I got home so I went back today to exchange them and let them know about it and I went to cash out cuz I purchase the other stuff I asked the girl at the cash register if she had taken off from the other ones and she told me yes I looked at my receipt and the girl had lied to me so I will not be going back to that store they are rude and I do not wish to be a customer there anymore

This place is always out of stuff, laundry soap, candles, wax melts, shoe insoles, goody powders. I heard it's getting remodeled, hopefully. This is the one on New Kings. I started going to the one on Soutel, it's really nice. I gave it 2 stars because the girls in there(Mary) work hard to try to keep it up.

Well I'm a patron to this store and I know most employees by name. I'm really going to miss the manager Larry today is his last day he is a wonderful man who I've gotten to know just from being in there 3 times a day shopping the employees there work their hardest and do their best due to such a great manager Like Larry. This company is really going to suffer losing such a wonderful man too bad Dollar General didn't know any better he has made that store what it is in the past 3 years and he will be dearly missed. Good luck to you Larry and your new Venture you're a wonderful man

I usually pull into Dollar General when I see the delivery truck. They were out of bleach. The sales associate explained that once everything is unloaded he'll be restocking so come back later, I love great customer service. You've become accustom to cclerks don't care. You go Dollar General for hiring a respectable sales associate.🤗

I figured I'd grab a couple chocolate milks before going to my Airbnb. The line is pretty long. The people in the line are complaining. There's only one employee I'm the whole store. I started a timer five minutes after I got in line. Finally a second employee. Let's see where the timer is when I leave. 12:07. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry but others might've been

I see ppl go in without masks on and their is a sweet cashier that will say mas must be worn and offer 1 but the other workers ignore and let them in and not say a word plus half the workers do not wear mask over nose

Need a 2nd Cashier when the line is extremely long & some of the customers had a lot of stuff. There was only "1" Cashier. She did not make any effort asking for help. There was another employee in the store. This was ridiculous!!!!

Stays clean for the most part but some item's they dont keep stocked and like the entrance an throughout the store like down aisles are crowded with boxes needing to be put away or like the entrance they keep a table for clearance items an there's always boxes of stuff all around it v

The DG on 1921 Dunn Ave Jacksonville Florida are ripping people off. As you can see those boots should have been 3.00 but they rang up at 8.00 with tax 8.56. When we said something I'm thinking it was the manager, she said she couldn't adjust the price. So beware.
