Laid-back, authentic Florida Keys vibe with a marina/canal view. Great food and cold beer. Recommend the grouper sandwich and tasty seasoned fries. Oysters were excellent and meaty.All of the staff were super friendly and attentive. Kid friendly too. You can even rent kayaks there.

Unfortunately 0 Stars are not possible. I was there 3 times and if you like to drink a beer it may be fine. The food is not worth the price. Ok. The Lobster Reuben was my fault, Sauerkraut will kill the taste of the lobster. But today was definitely terrible. The Appetizers came after the main dish. The cheeseburger for 20 $ low class, McD would make it cheaper and likely better.The Fish sandwich , well the Mahi was good but I ordered it grilled not fried. The Rice was luke warm , no chance to burn your tongue.The grilled Oysters were cold, I do not know if the folks here like to eat them cold or not, but they were ordered as appetizers and came after the main dish, as it happened with the salad.I guess the Appetizer were prepared and waiting for delivery on the counter. But they were not delivered in time. This may the reason why we waited such a long time.Looking at the Prices, you could expect metal Cutlery and a Glass for the Drinks, 6$ each. But Sadly, no. Only plastic Cutlery. Drinking from the can is okay.Conclusion: for a drink a fine place, but for food and service go upstairs.

Found this gem of a place and what a great find! We had 1 of the best times in the keys and had a great time with live music and the bartender Tara was so funny and really made the visit incredible,we only went in for a drink but stayed for the night,we had raw oysters and the biggest shrimp and the best fish dip we ever had!!Thanks for a wonderful time!!!

Great place for a nice beer/wine and some fresh seafood. We shared the Oysters Rockefeller and Lobster Rolls. Relaxing atmosphere underneath (the waterfront side) of Old Tavernier. Looking forward to the Chart Room opening upstairs soon!

Okay experience!Generally everything was good. The only negatives, the service was very slow even though they weren't busy, the bathroom was not very clean and the bun on my burger was a bit dry and stale. The fries were good.

Fantastic place with all the fantastic things that make up the Florida Keys. Chef Mark Brown has the skills to thrill those taste buds. Serving up locally crafted Brews and Wine , the vibe is as good as it gets with live music and open outdoor seating. Add in all the amenities at your finger tips, Dockside Raw Bar is a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner. Check them out!

We did get there late night, so it was the end of the food service. The server was less than congenial, nor was she on top of things as I had to go to the bar two different times to order my beers. We ordered raw oysters, and one of them had you got a weird texture so I spat it out. I still ended up with food poisoning from that oyster. Ruined my stay in the keys.

Love the burger with a great smoky bacon! Wine is reasonable and good. Nice laid back atmosphere. Love the sauce that comes with the coconut shrimp! Almost seemed like it has a pinch of ginger in it.

Great laid back place to stop for a bite to eat . Chef Mark is such an awesome cook. Wide variety of food and it's all delicious as well a reasonably priced. So happy we stopped in for lunch!

Didn’t even orderWe came from snorkeling and we were ready to set and order but used the bathroom firstA rude waiter was claiming to be the manager started screaming at my wife and kids that they shouldn’t use the shower in the bathroom.She didn’t even ask us nicely not to use it or if we used it.Your response below shows that you didn’t even read what I wrote which confirms my point that you don’t respect customersWe didn’t use your shower tire so called manger assumed we used it and started yelling at usYou assumed we didn’t read the note and didn’t even apologised for bad behaviour on your sideI still stand by my point this is a bad place to tryWhen I came and asked her that she should check first or talk nice, she started yelling at me and asked me to leave the place.All the time my tone was calm and she was shouting to the point the people who run the snorkeling business started screaming back at her and telling her to be nice.

I can't comment on the food because we never got to order. Entered late afternoon and empty except for one table. Wandered around because no staff around. Finally, a woman shows up and tells us where we can sit and gets us menus. We already knew what we wanted so we didn't need much time. We wait for someone to take out order for 20 minutes. The woman who seated us is going back and forth but never approaches and avoids eye contact. I tell my wife 5 more minutes. During that time another couple enters and sit at the bar. In less than a minute they are served drinks. Enough, we leave. Our order would have been $100 plus drinks and they let us walk out. We went to another restaurant, had a less expensive meal, and the server got a $100 tip.

What a nice unexpected gem! Loved the food, everything was great and presentation was wonderful. Staff are attentive and we were able to bring our four footed family member. We went back 2 days in a row and brought more local friends that didn't know it was there. For the person that said they spent $50. to eat nothing and went somewhere else, we are so glad they did. We don't want them, let's keep it a local secret, they'll be busy enough. I'm guessing they had some amazing wine and forgot to order, or had the spectacular oysters Rockefeller all worth the cost. I'm sure they got bigger bang for their buck at the Wendys drive through, hope they got back to Miami safely. Bon Voyage!

Stopped here on the way home from Islamorada, should’ve kept going. The atmosphere is nice, the gift shop is cutesy, the wait staff are very nice, but the food is bland white people food. Everything we ordered was bland, including a hot dog! None of our food was seasoned, the lobster roll is nothing more than mayo and lobster, no other spices! My daughter’s chicken sandwich tasted like fish Fry oil, and our hot dogs were microwaved, so they mostly tasted rubbery.It’s great, if you like that kind of thing but go somewhere else to eat if you enjoy flavorful food.

We stopped here for lunch whiledriving through the keys. This is a cute little hometown feeling, scratch made restaurant. I had the most AMAZING Lobster Rueben !!! Omg melt in mouth delicious. My husband ordered a filet of grouper , cooked crispy. That was also melt in my mouth delicious. Amazing little place !!Stop there ! You will not regret it

Stumbled across this place while driving through the area. Couldn’t be more impressed by the hospitality, food, and local beers. Chef Mark creates incredible dishes and if we are ever back in the area, we will be coming back for round 2!

Why fix what isn’t broken?? I ate at this place 2-3 nights a week last year (Jan-April)….One & done this year…service is awful beyond belief, and food is average at best. Place was so good & fun last year…oh well, plenty of other places around

Food was horrible! Oysters were filled with sand and not fresh. Ceviche was mediocre and a tiny portion. We spent nearly $50 to eat nothing and go somewhere else for an actual meal. Staff was very kind, so they get 2 stars instead of 1.

What a cool find! I have been driving by here and did not know Dockside Raw Bar was here. It is a waterfront, casual spot with great food and drinks. Look at the boats, sit inside or outside, and maybe even see a Manatee. Right in the heart of Tavernier and close to Islamorada and Key Largo.The people running the place are really friendly and the prices are great.This feels like a hidden gem reserved for locals!
