If you're craving a comforting and authentic dining experience, and if you're tired of the impersonal atmosphere of chain restaurants, then this is the place for you. I frequently dine here with my closest friends, and every time we visit, the staff goes above and beyond to make us feel like part of their family. The food is consistently outstanding, and I highly recommend becoming a regular patron, just like me. As a special treat, I suggest ordering "The Derrick with Gavin Bacon," even though it's not listed on the menu. Enjoy!

My husband and I are new to the area and didn't want to eat fast food for a quick breakfast...so we saw the good reviews for Nanna's and drove on down.It was a bit of a wait since the place was packed, but the food was excellent. Everything was delicious, fresh, crunchy where it needed to be, and filling. We have never had such flaky, crunchy fried green tomatoes and the fried okra was terrific too. Meat was welldone just how we liked it and the eggs were perfectly fluffy. Compliments to the chef ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We'd go here again. Highly recommended restaurant if you're looking for clean, fresh, homemade delicious American (cracker) food.👍

Cozy restaurant with family vibes. It's like settling into your grandma's kitchen complete with coffee cups of achievements, community pictures and home style cooking, well seasoned and filling. Excellent sized portions for the money. We'll be back for more!

Upon entrance, the restaurant smelled like mildew. Ordered 2 biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were in crumbles ( not really sure if it was 2 biscuits or not) and overdone. Found 3 pieces of sausage in the entire plate. Wasn’t impressed. Bacon was very crispy and pretty good, but it was $3 for 3 pieces of bacon 😳. My son ordered French toast which he enjoyed but said it was still doughy in the middle. Our waitress was very nice. Overall, I think it was middle-of-the-road “ok”, but next time we will probably choose to go back to Tru Grits Restaurant just a few minutes away. The price was good. I just wished it was better quality food& smelled less of mildew when walking inside.

Placed order by phone for a to go order of Chicken and Rice soup. I asked if they had it and Lady advised me that they sure did.When I Picked it up at restaurant It was in a to go box not in a bowl or cup. So I opened it and it was just Chicken and Rice. Not soup at all. Owner said they did not have soup at this time. I was never advised of this at anytime. Until I asked where is the chicken and rice soup. If I had not opened to go box I would have not known this till I got home. Owner was rude and never Apologized. And never asked if I wanted something else or to give me refund. So I just left with it. Because I could not get her to stop arguing with me. The meal was not even good. Dryer out no flavor. So I will never do business with Nana s Restaurant ever again. I will order soup and anything else from China Wok by Hitchcock's They know what soup is and it's excellent. There restaurant was not open that day . So make sure you check out your to go meal before you leave their restaurant. Or better yet don't even order anything from this do drop in Restaurant.Parking: Not convenient at all. So don't even go there . It's not worth the hassle.

We stopped at Nanna's recently, and they did a wonderful job with their food! We really enjoyed it! My lady got the breakfast burrito, I got the 1/2 burger, both cooked perfectly! Also, the soda and iced tea came with the meal? Awesome!The wait staff did a wonderful job too! You felt the family connection there! If you're in the area, please stop by Nanna's Country Cafe! Well worth the price and you'll be happy you went!The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing too! Definitely worth the trip!

My son wanted to do something special for me just on a whim and he took me to Nana's and the food the service everything was excellent there the price I got so much food in one order that I carried about home and ate two more times off of that same box the food was excellent the service everything I'll definitely go back to Nana's on a frequent basis

Nanna's is the perfect small town cafe where you feel at home and part of the community. Everyone is pleasant and the service is great!Great home cooking and breakfast is always delicious! Have been there several times in the past few months and can honestly say that we have never been disappointed!Highly recommend and well worth a visit! 😊✨Review update: 9/6/23Not sure if the staff at Nanna's is going through some hard days lately and we still would highly recommend as their food is always on point and absolutely delicious! It would be great however to get a nice greeting and a smile once in a while! We eat there at least twice a week and have pretty much become regulars since moving to the area yet rarely get a smile or a hello. As a business owner I understand that sometimes there are just bad days... however customer relations is very important and a simple hello and a smile speaks volumes ☺️Customers don't want to feel unwelcome or like they're bothering you when they visit your establishment. If you're looking for a small country kitchen with affordable food, this is it. The service was great, and the food was decent. I ordered the chicken tenders with fried okra, mashed potatoes and gravy. While I should have asked before hand, it was brown gravy, and not country gravy like I prefer, but again, that's on me. Not a big fan of brown gravy, but it was tasty. The place could use some updating, but that's neither here nor there. The only problem I had was a man working on a ceiling fan almost got electrocuted because the power hadn't been turned off like he expected. But that didn't ruin my time, or anything like that. Overall, it was good, affordable food with a great staff.

Due to COVID, I didn't want to eat inside, despite 6-foot distancing measures already taken by the owners. I also didn't want take-out, due to styrofoam NEVER decomposing, and it was sprinkling, so eating on the outside bench was out, as well. I wanted to eat in the cab of my truck on real plates with real silverware. They know me, so that may have helped the trust factor, and this is an unlikely request, anyway. Even so, they very pleasantly let me do it, and it made my morning. It felt like I'd (safely!) gone out to eat. My order was delicious and exactly, as requested... Eggs OM, grits, rye toast with STRAWBERRY jam, side of home fries. Delicious!
