A new add on to my review on March 25th 2022 at 5:00 p.m .Please look at this cooked chicken I purchased from Harvey’s Deli. It’s half done. I took pictures of the box as well. Everybody who have purchased cooked prepared food from this grocery store know that this is the box. So I’m not lying.This is terrible. Even though I only purchased the 2 piece white snack at 2.99, you expect for your food to be editable. Bad service. I will take this here further than just a review!The woman at the customer service desk have nasty attitudes. She, the African American slender female with glasses have really made me choose other places to handle customer service items such as money orders, debit reloads and other purchases that the cashiers don't do.

This review represent the last two years of my patronage at the Havana location Harvey's. This is just an "ok" store to pick up essential items if you are in a bind and dont want to venture to Tallahassee, Quincy or Cairo for your shopping needs. Overall the prices are inflated to give you the illusion you are saving by using the Harvey's card or a buy 2 get 1 free deal. If you are a price concious shopper you can quickly do the math and will realize not all is at "they" would like you to believe. The store is generally clean and has a fairly good diversity of items and brands. The deli is good as well and deli staff are friendly and helpful. The store offers some fresh fruits and produce; however, the lettuce and similar items can be wilted and past expiration dates. The meat department has fair quality but the meat department staff tend to only be seen when they are restocking and generally have not been friendly or helpful in my interactions. Checkout process is usually quick when appropriately staffed but cashiers are usually on their phones, talking with bag staff, and generally dont know how to redeem points acquired on the app and will tell you "something did not work" and try again next time. I would not recommend this store unless you are in a bind and dont mind paying extra for the Havana convenience.

I now have to travel 20 something miles to shop at Harvey's because they closed the one near my house. But I don't mind most of the time because their meat prices are reasonable and they have really good deals on a lot of items.

My wife had a taste for a salad for dinner. We stopped in to pick up all the fixings. Their selection of fruits and vegetables was superb. Found everything I was looking for. Great hometown grocery store. The facility was well maintained and clean. Store associates and cashiers were very nice. Convenient location. Pleasurable experience. Will return.

I goes to the deli for the baked chicken only. They only served during lunch time until its gone. I wish they would serve all day like they does fried chicken.

Harveys has been on top of their game as of lately. They have had great employees and a clean store. I'm Always in & out and I haven't waited in line more than 5 minutes in the last 6 months. Keep up the great work guys.

Always convenient. It's wonderful that Harveys has a location here in Havana close to our home and business. Employees are always very nice and helpful. We were so thankful for them opening very soon after hurricane Michael's disastrous visit to our area. We were able to get ice and non-perishable foods. We were still without electricity but it was great to feel a sense of normalcy shopping in the air conditioning there.

The sales are great. Some of the staffs can be rude. The deli had great ribs until they change to another brand " St. Louis". No reason to shop there anymore.

A smaller store than a mega Walmart but, FULL of just about everything you need. Good friendly staff and well kept store. They were setting out fresh fried chicken and made me hungry (good for them, bad for me because I bought more...) bought some fried catfish for my ride home... since Winn Dixie abandoned the store on N. Monroe this is an alternative to driving downtown Tallahassee.

Since changing to a Winn Dixie store, the prices have increased and the store is not as clean. The staff don't care about customers and are at best bothered by customers, and often just rude. The deli food is bland and overcooked now. So disappointing as the staff used to be friendly and welcoming, the store was always spotless and the deli yummy.

The Wednesday special are OK, Harveys not as good as it use to be since the have new owners. The produce is terrible, that's something that can't be controlled by the managers there at the store.. Now the management are great but it's just the quality of the produce, the prices of the items in the store just needs to get much better... I didn't have an issue until they changed the original owners, now since the pre Winn-Dixie products are in place the quality is very poor.

I am sorry to say this but you have bad customer service! After checking out and paying money to your store a customer should never be left to load their own groceries into a cart! This would never happen at Publix. You have a long way to go to match that. I worked in groceries for 12 years and if you were caught slacking with a customer you were reprimanded. You might need to revisit your training techniques.!!!!!

Friendly staff. I have no problem finding a clerk if I can't find something. Meat department will custom cut meats. Store is clean. Prices have become more competitive .

Some staff are extremely friendly and some are incredibly rude, no in-between. Pay more for a lot of grocery items in comparison to walmart but it is the only option for Havana truely. Typically easy in and out. I rate this 3 star mostly due to poor produce section. They don't have a large selection and things are not fresh often.

This place is may not be a fancy as the Publx at Osk Valley, but I would rather go out of my way to shop here any day. The bakery and deli ate not the best in the world, but for groceries not a bad little place. Its clean. Just don't be in a hurry.

After the hurricane they opened as soon as they could -- even without power. They weren't selling meat, frozen or dairy, but they were selling produce, which is what I wanted. They we're working hard pulling food into the natural light coming in the windows so customers could see.
