Pet Kingdom is a bad disappointment. Although there are so many animals to see and buy in the Pet Kingdom, and has exotic animals, there are massive problems, the Dogs and many animals are not taken care of well, and many of the Dogs are in small cages and alone. If you see the pictures I put in. You can see the dogs are in small cages and alone. Dogs are animals that love to run and play with other dogs. The Dogs in those small cages must have severe boredom, constantly sleeping and staring at humans hoping that someone adopts and gets them out of their misery. Also, there’s a lizard that is in a small cage, with nothing in it. Look at the picture of the Lizard in the small cage that nothing in it. This is terrible treatment to the animals.

We are regulars here at Pet Kingdom :) Bought our baby Basil here (severe macaw). They worked with us putting a deposit down - even gave us food to start with and a carrying cage. The owners are smart and knowledgeable, and truly have their hearts out for the animals. Stop by if you ever have time and say hi to Terry

Large selection of dogs & birds. Very small selection of reptiles & amphibians. No cats in stock when I was there. (They claim to typically carry Savannah cats.) Mediocre selection of fish.

I am really disappointed. The employees were kind, they had a wide variety of animals, and it was a pretty clean store.Why am I disappointed? The animals were way too overpriced. But, there was a problem bigger than that, the animals enclosures and how they were treated.The enclosures they put the animals in were extremely disappointing.There was a toucan, there was only 4 logs in it's enclosure. Nothing else. It was panicking and kept trying to get out.The rest of the birds had something stuck to their claw, so they could barely move.The Boa Constrictor had lots of room, but almost nothing. Snakes need stuff in their enclosure!! Especially big ones.They put some very anti-social reptiles together. Which is never a good idea.The cats, dogs, and rabbits areas were very empty. Almost no toys, no place to go to the bathroom, or to play. I don't even think that they had anything to eat.This store has so much potential, but the way the animals are treated here is so sad.You're a PET STORE! Do better. This is ridiculous.

This is a wonderful place to go to! I have been to many pet stores in many different states and I have never seen one as exotic as this. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The animals come from all over. From birds to skunks dogs to snakes, exotic fish to ferrets and more. You can go here & almost forget how much time you spent in this store. The animals are always protected from cross contamination and diseases. They are well taken care of. They always have different sales and many ways to help you take care of all your animals even after you’ve gone home! It’s worth the visit! Even my kids enjoy the visits!

Awesome establishment, this is exactly the type of pet store that a brand new pet owner should be going to. All the staff is quite knowledgeable about the animals in their specific sections. All the animals are very well taken care of and monitored. The staff is quite friendly and always willing to answer any questions! If I could give more than five stars I would!!

It is a very large pet store, with a wide variety of them, there are several exotic animals that are not for sale. Apparently they have them just to see them. They have several exotic puppies that are very well cared for.

Wife and me took our son to check out aquarium stuff and found a steal deal on a 55gal tank! Used for 50bucks! Cool store , a ton of awesome animals. Great place to go check out on a rainy day hahha

Very well maintained & healthy animals. Clean & organized shop. Friendly, helpful & knowledgable staff. Certainly on the nicer end of pet shops I’ve visited. I saw happy, wrestling rats, clean noses & bright coloring on reptiles, fresh water & food, accurate labeling. Legit.

Well looked after animals and a great ambience! My girl, my friend and I had an amazing time time petting the puppies and talking to the birds. It really is a happy place. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful. Some seem to not love their job but the majority do. All-in-all I'd highly recommend it.

Adopt don’t Shop!!!! These poor puppies come from puppy mills 😭 if you have thousands to spend- give to a non profit like gulf coast humane society - where it’s not money and greed- but they actually care about the animal’s well being!This place is horrible!

This was my second visit in 6 months, bought a second pup, my toy fox terrier??? Is now 18 lbs,a sweet dog twice what I wanted, but twice the love, the lil one is my new pup and they are in love with each other...

They have all kinds of animals which is pretty cool but very little in the way of pet supplies. Staff seemed disinterested in speaking with customers.

This place is an absolute DUMP. They abuse and neglect their animals. None of the enclosures are cleaned, there was a dead hamster in one of the 5 gallon fish tanks they use for rodents, & WORMS in the bird enclosures. Absolutely disgusting, not to mention the MANAGER cursed at me & berated me when I tried to point these things out to her. This place is an absolute joke.

None of the filters had been cleaned in a long time! Staff constantly yells at you to sanitize your hands in order to touch their dogs. Most reptiles had no water! Second visit; Went back again and the birds had mites but were still being sold Also, you can no longer pet the puppies. Since there is no way to reply to your reply, I will address it here. The pictures I posted show how dirty your filters were and I NEVER said that the baby birds were plucking each others feathers out. The birds were plucking their own feathers out. Plucking their OWN feathers means MITES!

Each purchase has been a unique experience, with the animals all in excellent health and the plants thriving.One of the standout elements of Pet Kingdom is the staff's dedication, particularly Gabe. He consistently goes the extra mile, providing exceptional customer service that has enhanced each of my visits.In the past, I've also bought hedgehogs, sugar gliders, and tortoises from Pet Kingdom. The wide range of animals they carry is truly remarkable. It's not just your typical pet store - they used to have monkeys and even a kangaroo! My family and I visited Pet Kingdom in Fort Myers today for the first time to purchase a Mini Poodle. We found one that would fit right in with our family and decided to take him home the same day. The price of the puppy was $1,900.00 so everything was going fine until I had to sign some paperwork before we take him home.Im reading through the documents and it reflects that the puppy is a Toy Poodle instead of a Mini. I pointed it out to the GM and she said well he's actually a mix of both Toy/Mini. So I said ok, if that's the case the document you're requesting me to sign need to reflect that before I sign it, because you verbally told me one thing and the paperwork reflects something completely different.The GM begins raising her voice at me while waving her hands back and forth and said "I don't know why the breed of the dog is different on two separate documents, are you really going to knit pick because there's a discrepancy of the breed, if you want your money back I'll refund you now".At this point I ask to speak to the owner, he came out and was one of the most disrespectful people I've ever met in my life. After I explained the situation to him, his response was "Oh well your going to have to deal with it, it is what it is".I explained to him, it is completely unacceptable for you to tell me as a customer who was provided inaccurate breeding information from your GM and the actual paperwork that your requesting for me to sign, is not a big deal because this happens all the time at this store.I was blown away by the owners response, I was even more insulted when he began to drop the "F Bomb" multiple times in front of my children. I ask him not to speak that way in front of my children and his response was "I'm Irish! that's the way we talk" he also said "I'm sure this is not the first time they heard that word".At this point I'm like this is Absolutely unbelievable! I've never been treated this way before. The owner continued to say "We receive false documentation from our breeders all the time and it is what it is".To make a Very Long.... story short I demanded a refund and decide to not support a business that has absolutely no respect for their customers at ALL.p.s. If I could've given zero stars I would have!!!!

Brought my granddaughter in the other day. Years ago I got my pups there. It is definitely not the same people it was filthy and the puppies are blocked off so you can't even see them. The prices they had on the board for the pups were absolutely ridiculous. All puppy's were over $2,000. You can tell they are not taken care of. For sure poor babies are from puppy mills. My advise would be find a reputable breeder because pet kingdom is not the place it was back in the day.
