Great place right on the water with lots of charm. Fish options are the best. Shrimp and stone crabs were top notch. Key lime pie was one of the best I've had. Thicker consistency like ice cream but super good and small size, good to share. Would go back if doing more family stuff in the Everglades with alligators and air boats.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options available. Giant hot dog, hamburgers and chicken fingers and fries 🍟

Outside dinning is a covered area picnic style seating, beer, paper towels and delicious seafood. We ordered crab, peeled shrimp and fried oysters, all were perfect and fresh. Order ahead and bring to your spot. Messy eating, they do have bathrooms and the water bay view. Worth the drive!Parking: Park in front of restaurant

This is one of our favorite places to visit, and we make sure we do it EVERY year we go to Florida. I get the crab cake sandwich. (I don't eat much seafood. Just not a fan). But there it's just delicious. Hubby gets the scallop wrap, which he says is just fire! But the best thing about this place is the view. It's so peaceful. You just sit and stare at the wildlife and the water. We could do it for hours. Can't wait till next year City Seafood.

I ordered stone crab claws and an oyster and gator basket with a beer. The stone crab were a bit waterlogged from sitting in ice water. Need to keep them out of the water for best flavor. I got the last ones before they dumped a fresh bag. Also, I like a hot mustard sauce. They served a honey mustard. The fried basket was ok. Nothing special or particularly noteworthy. All in all I thought it was expensive for the quality and quantity. I didn’t care for the French fries either. Too thin with no flavor. Cole slaw was excellent. Beer was cold.

This was our first time to eat here. Everything was good. The people were friendly. The food was good. My complaint for my seafood basket is I had a ton of fries (which was great) but I only received four gator bites and three frog legs (I didn't even get four legs which I think would add up for at least two frogs, right?) But the food was good and the beer was COLD!

Fun little waterside place to eat. Order at the counter, pick up your food at the window when your number is called and grab a table inside or out by the water! Staff was friendly, many options on the menu! The reviews from our group of four were mixed and we all ordered something different. All in all a really nice place to stop for a bite after an afternoon of fun in the everglades!

Very casual restaurant/bar right on the water.Order at the counter, and they call your number when the food is ready.Seating is on a nice covered outdoor patio. Our lunch was great. We had the blackened fish platter, and a shrimp basket. The shrimp basket was the best I've had in SWFL.

This is a very interesting place to have lunch. Four of us stopped after church and waited in line to order off a varied menu that has something for everyone. I had the blackened grilled flounder which was just mildly seasoned and I tasted my husbands alligator which was very good. The fish is fresh on ice in the case where you order. Seating is on the dock looking out on the water. Very pleasant with a cool breeze. If you are looking for fancy this isn’t it but the food is excellent! They called our number after just a short wait which allowed us time to visit and enjoy the scenery.

The gator bites were pretty good! First time trying gator! I really enjoyed it! The chicken was definitely not the best chicken but I'm just the weird guy that doesn't like fish so I had to settle for the chicken! The place was awesome and the service was also awesome! Recommended if you are in the area!

The only thing we all ordered that was really satisfying was the crab cake, but prices way high for food quality...my fried shrimp po boy looked yummy but hardly any sauce (no flavor...should be a roumalade sauce), and no crunchy tasty goodness on the shrimp...my companion had fish fingers which were extremely dry grouper fish and french fries should have been hot n fresh since we were the only customers...fried scallops were tiny little criiters...cool outdoor swamp atmosphere but my 84yr old mom had a lot of trouble sitting their picnic bench tables...need more ADA friendly seating

Really nice little place looking out over the water. I ordered the fried gator with fries and a side order of black beans and rice. Food was good and not a long wait.Kid-friendliness: Didn't have any kids but seen kids there.

Went for a drive today and decided to try and find a place with good reviews. It didn’t disappoint. Fish was cooked fresh and was delicious. We had conch fritters and fish baskets that came with fries. Topped off with a cold beer. We will definitely be back.

Good place, great staff, clean bathrooms. A great place if you’re in town or near it and need to eat something. It’s right on the water so the views are good, while you’re eating. The food is nothing amazing, the crab is good, but I don’t like how they crack it. The fries aren’t seasoned, and the sauces are generic. However, everything is very fresh and good.

We typically love rustic seafood restaurants and often find some really great seafood dishes. This place has great atmosphere. No screening to prevent flying bugs so this is a major problem and drive diners away. But forget eating here. We've eaten a lot of conch fritters over the years and these rank near the bottom if not at the bottom. Mostly dough, small little round balls. No dipping sauce jus six little balls. Same with hush puppies. We planned to have lunch here but after this experience we paid our bill of $37 and left. Great atmosphere. Avoid this place.

Go here for the atmosphere/scenery, the food is good also. They have great hush puppies, my fried shrimp and blue crab were good along with fried alligator (a must when in Florida). The grilled, blackened shrimp was fresh and had a nice kick. My son had fish and chips which was a bit bland but fresh and cooked well. They offer cold beer, bottled wine and sangria and non alcoholic drinks as well. You order in the market, take a seat and they call your number. One reviewer said the staff was not very attentive which I’d agree with and it wasn’t too busy the day we were there. It’s a bit “rustic” but a fun experience. They do have a place to dock a couple boats which was nice. It’s also one of about three restaurants on the water.

The fish fingers are delicious. They taste seem to be fresh caught. The last time we visited the place, the owner greeted us at the entrance and shared stories. It was a great experience.Highly recommend this place.

It’s amazing food. Really fresh and well prepared. Long lines. Expensive. It was 20 minutes before they closed when I ordered my food and they told me they closed the grill telling us we could only have the fish fried. IF YOU’RE OPEN UNTIL THREE THEN BE OPEN UNTIL THREE. you’re thinking about going home at my expense. Customer first. Fried was fine but my wife wanted grilled and you wouldn’t do it because you were closing down before you were closed down. Basics.
