Grateful for our mangrove airboat tour at Captain Jacks. Our tour guide, Jesse, was great. The folks who work there are kind and accommodating. Saw three gators! So fun to go fast. Great way to see such an important natural resource. Our captain was very responsible and knowledgeable.

Our airboat ride was awesome!! Would definitely go again. Captain Jesse talked to us about the area and answered questions. He is very knowledgeable and great to talk with! The wild pigs were a fun bonus.

One of the best times I’ve ever had. We had boat 17 w/ Darren aka Uncle Darren. Highly recommend to request this man. He’s such a down home person I actually wish we could have spent more time with him. He was so knowledgeable and so proud of what he does and stands for. He loves the wildlife and the people he works for. Because of uncle Darren I’d come back just to see him.

We had a lot of fun. Went for the mangrove tunnel option and it was amazing. The captain was knowledgeable about the mangrove and the wildlife. We saw a lot of wildlife including birds and alligators. Be prepared to get wet a bit. Would do again any time!

Absolutely loved it. The boat we went on held 6 people. We had Captain Joe, He was super funny and really knew what he was talking about. The trip was very smooth and was a mix of turns and different speeds. Mangroves are stunning and we saw tons of wildlife (3 alligators, lots of raccoons, fish). Beautiful views but it can definitely get a little so bring a hoodie.

Great time was had by all. It was a fabulous day for an airboat ride. Our captain Jerry was very knowledgeable and we saw a lot of different animals. The mangroves were really really cool. definitely do this again. Check em out!!!!

We had an amazing experience at Captain Jack's!First time taking an airboat ride and would definitely recommend Captain Jack's.The ride through the mangrove trees was indeed a highlight and not expected to be what it was.If you are looking for a place to stay in Everglades City, Everglades City Motel has remodeled recently and our room was the 2 queen bed / kitchenette and it was super nice with comfy beds.You will need to check in at the Ivey House just up the street. We did not know this when we booked originally.We ate at the Island Cafe, good food with decent prices that won't break you.This is a small town with no major grocery store so if you are doing an extended stay here, would recommend stocking up before you arrive.We did a combo ticket that also included visiting Wooten's for additional airboat and swamp buggy rides.Our time at Everglades City was mid February. Weather was perfect!

Seeing that the Google rating is very high, I am happy to come here.The old ticket sales staff is very RUDE。！！！which affects the experience. The air boat is very cool. If you want to see animals, alligators, you need to drive five minutes to another place. It is better to go directly to this place to take the air boat and watch the alligator show and take pictures. You can go directly to 32330 Tamiami Trail E, Ochopee, FL 34141。

What a great time! Drove here after landing at Miami Airport - about a 90 minute drive. Was so cool entering The Everglades! Found our place and parked - got tickets and waited for a captain to call our group number. There was a family of 4 with my husband and myself. Only saw one gator, but our captain was great and we had fun in the boat .

It was...Amazing and wonderfull. The captain was very friendly and the tour great. When the boat takes speed it was the best. All the family love it and want to sign to another tour. Good memories.

Dwain was our guide for the Mangrove Airboat tour and he made the drive, from Cape Coral, to get there worth it! We was very knowledgeable, funny, and all around fun! Everyone on the boat had a great time because of him! Got to see some gators too! I would would go here again in a heartbeat!

This airboat trip was fabulous from beginning to end. It exceeded our expectations. The wildlife was varied and plentiful and the speed of the boat was thrilling with a very knowledgeable, jovial and skilful captain at the helm. The mangroves were so pretty too.

What an awesome experience. My wife and I visited the everglades for the first time and took our first airboat ride. We went on the Mangrove Tunnel & Grassland Combo. So cool. "Uncle Drunkle" (I think his actual name is Darren) was a great captain. He had a great sense of humor. He made sure we saw plenty of gators and other wildlife. He also got the airboat moving pretty fast on the straightaways. The headsets with the mics make it even more enjoyable.

Very enjoyable! Saw a few gators, one that swam right up to the boat! The boat ride itself was really fun. We did walk the boardwalk but there wasn’t much to see there. The zoo part had plenty of gators if you didn’t see enough on the boat.

My daughter and I had the best time ever at Captain Jacks! The airboat tour guides were awesome and knowledgable and the views of the Everglades were incredible. The alligator show was amazing and holding the baby gators was the icing on the cake! 😊If you get the chance, I strongly suggest you visit ..you won't regret it!Tammy

We had a blast cruising along the mangrove tunnels, while being guided by our excellent air boat pilot. He had a very pleasant way of guiding us through the Everglades with humour and facts, all the while he was navigating the tunnels like a real professional.

Took a tour here on a road trip from Tampa to key west and it was the highlight of our whole trip. Captain Javi gave us an amazing tour sharing his knowledge of the mangroves and showing us raccoons and alligators all while zipping through the mangroves. So much fun can’t wait to bring more family for tours!

Its all good en the captain was quite funny. It seems that all the air boat companies do the same route and they all know exactly where the Alligators are. The nicest part, that airboat could fly! About 35 knots on the water is pretty fast!

We really enjoyed our airboat ride through the mangroves! Captain Rob was very experienced and not only did he make the experience very memorable but he made it so much fun! Afterwards it was totally cool to meet 35 year old alligator, Charlie! The gator handler was pretty amazing! We will return for sure!

What a blast! The headsets were a great decision, as it cut the engine noise considerably, and allowed our capitan to tell us all about the mangrove ecosystem. Wear sunscreen and be ready to listen!

What a GREAT & Thrilling experience! My wife and I have never been on an airboat ride. It was better than expected. Out Captain was fantastic, hilarious, and very knowledgeable. He was passionate about not only giving great customer service but you could tell he LOVES the Everglades. If you are considering going… Just do it!!!

FIRST AIRBOAT RIDE EVER!To begin, the young lady at the ticket booth was unfriendly, not informative in the least. She gave minimal direction to tourists who had never been there. She needs some customer service training to say the least. Therefore the 4 stars instead of 5.The boardwalk was ok,BUT THE REST OF THE EXPERIENCE was FANTASTIC!!We are here in December so the temps were cooler (mid 70’s) and didn’t have any trouble with mosquitoes.We thoroughly enjoyed Captain Jack’s Airboat ride mostly because of our Captain Calen! I apologize if I got your name wrong.This young man was hilariously entertaining, knowledgeable & extremely skilled driving an airboat.We got to see a gator close up while on the ride then traveled down the road some to visit the Wooten Gator Sanctuary & held one and also saw many gators and a couple crocs. We saw a 15 min. gator show with a very brave young man in an enclosure with Sam (a very large gator). The guide told awesome stories and had alot of knowledgeable information on these creatures. This was all a part of the package purchased through Captain Jack’s website. You gotta visit these places, you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Our group had a great experience with Captain Ivan. Our group of 6 ranged from ages 15-64 and everyone had a fun time! We took the 8:45 am tour and the temp was great but we still appreciated our hoodies. The mangroves were so amazing to zip through and the 45 mins flew by! But if you’re there to see wildlife it’s completely hit or miss. We saw one gator up close while on the tour, but the trip up the road to Wootens after was fulfilling as we saw many gators, and learned about gator safety too. The boardwalk across from Captain Jacks was a nice way to see the airboats, but again, only saw geckos and small crabs while there … but if you look carefully to the right of US41 heading back to Naples out of the Everglades area you’ll spot many gators in the brush/ ditches. We heard from many snowbirds that Captains Jacks is the best tour around !!! And we were Not disappointed!!!

Week did both the mangrove and grassland airboat tour and they were both super exciting! On top of getting to see numerous alligators and birds, the whole scene was incredible! It was a blast to fly down the waterways through narrow mangrove tunnels! They did a great job and all there personal were very friendly and helpful!

Our tour was awesome! Airboating through the mangroves was exhilarating. A great tour for all ages and our Captain (Joe) did a great job pointing out all the wildlife. I highly recommend.
