My wife had a cobia fish sandwich with sweet potato fries and really liked it. I had stone crab tacos and thought they tasted similar to a mild tuna salad taco. Good selection of beers. You get in line and place your order. When it's ready, a server brings it to your table. If you need anything else, you don't have to get back in line. A server will bring it. Important Tip...Do not go here after 5:00 pm without bug spray. Great location on the water, but a crazy amount of no see ems and mosquitoes.

Order at the counter to get the food started. Then take a number to any seat you want, and your food arrives before you know it! Self-serve soda and water so you can always guarantee your cup is full, wait staff check with you and fill any dessert orders, and deliver the check! Service is beyond fast and the food? SUPERB! Best Mahi filet I've had since Key West. And the Key lime pie too! Can't wait to go feed more mosquitos and have this wonderful food!

After a wonderful day hiking the Florida trail we decided to stop in Everglades City for a bite to eat. We found this great place right on the water to watch the sunset, with live music, and prices that can’t be beat! I had six claws, rice, grilled vegetables, and it was all delicious!The band played some really nice music and everyone was very friendly. It was a great ending to a beautiful day.

The absolute best stone crabs in my whole life... and the clam chowder was bomb!! Heck, even the chips were to perfection. On the down low.. I licked ALL my fingers. Yuummyy!You all need to come here. Seriously.

Food is as good and fresh as it gets anywhere in SFL. The Cobia is outstanding. Stone Crabs are Fantastic. Pies are on point. Staff works very hard and seems exhausted each time I’ve been. You order at the counter, get your own drinks so there is a bit of a lack of service to rate. There is not much personal interaction with the staff so really hard to rate on an over all status but the staff definitely works hard. Atmosphere is outdoors and has some cool decor. All that to say this is my new favorite restaurant in EC/Choko.

Everything tasted amazing! There was also live music that sounded great. The food didn't take that long to come, and there was deck seating looking out onto the water.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu selection.

We brought our fresh catch of the day and they did an amazing job cooking our fish. Loved the salad & appetizers also. Just know that even sitting inside, because the doors are open, the mosquitoes are very annoying, due to the lovely waterside location. Be prepared and bring repellent. We didn't and had to flee, instead of hanging out.

Really pretty location. Food was good, pricey, but that’s what I expect in a tourist location. Portion sizes were generous. The service was TERRIBLE. They ignored each person in line ordering. Often with 4 servers standing behind the counter in the phone. When the check came the server again disappeared. We took photos, looked at the garden, sat and waited. No one came. Went to the counter and again, 4 servers on their phones. No one wants to help us cash out. Two other customers had to come to pay at the same time because their server never returned.Probably won’t be back.

Food is fresh and beer is local. Nice service strategy. You get to the order line and place your order and get the drinks while your order is completed. Food is taken to your table and at the end you pay. No waitress taking orders at the table or problems with the time of preparation. Simple and yet very efficient. Highly recommend the she crab soup... So yummy!

The Shrimp Tacos were really good. I probably should have got fries instead of salad for the side, as the salad was mostly just the same lettuce as in the taco so it was a bit redundant. Everything was fresh and tasted good. It is on the more expensive side, and there is no AC since it's all outdoor seating. It was nice eating by the water.

Really cute restaurant….I loved the “pieced together” aesthetic. The longer I looked around the more random things I found like quotes or a sink planter.The food seemed overpriced for the quality but I suppose being the only restaurant really in the area they can charge whatever.Sweet potato fries where okay but more than half where too crunchy but the key lime pie was pretty great.

I came down to South Florida to explore the Everglades, so in my quest to visit all four of the visitor's centers, I passed by Everglades City. Some quick research told me that this place was the place to go. So in I went for a nice, riverside lunch. Plenty of seating, even with a decent line at the register. When I got to the front of the line, I asked for some advice, and I got some pretty darn good advice.I can't find a good menu for them, so I don't have exacts, but I can paraphrase.I opened up with some she crab soup. The only thing that matters with crab soups is how much crab is in it, and there was a decent amount of it, so I was pleased with that. I was also pleased with the crispy fried wonton strips that were served with it for nice dipping and nice added texture. Very nice stuff.I also got a fried grouper finger basket with some nice, thick-cut sweet potato fries. Excellent breading. Not too much, adhered nicely, added a nice crisp. I also like the thick fries, because you get to taste the actual sweet potato, very nice. The only thing I was noticing in this meal was a lack of seasoning. Doesn't surprise me. What is probably their main clientele demographic isn't used to seasoning. But that's ok. Not the end of the world.Finally, I got the big feature on their menu that day, the stone crab tacos. No lack of flavor here! That sweet crab meat needs no seasoning. Very delicious. And it was topped with a beautiful slaw that added acidity and freshness and crisp. Very happy with these tacos. Turned this experience from a four to a five star, for sure.Overall, there were a few places in town to choose from, but if you're reading this, take my word for it, this place will not disappoint.

Hours kind of strange as they close between 3:30 and 4:30. Heads up. Food excellent. We had she crab soup, frog legs, wings, fried green tomatoes oyster poorboy and grouper all above had light flavorful breading and was moist and delicious. Service was very attentive and pleasant. Key lime pie is worth saving room for. We went twice and would go again.

Got recommended by our tour guide, so we checked it out. Too bad they didn’t have any stone crab claws. We tried the calamari, the gator tacos and the shrimp basket. They all have the same batter and deep fried. Seriously, the batter was so much that all the dishes just tasted the same. Quite disappointing for how much it cost.The fries were quite good though.Also their internet was not working, thus they only accepted cash. We had to withdraw cash from the ATM (right next to the order counter) of course with some fee. Wondering if it’s a once in a while thing or it happens very often.

After served black bean salsa appetizer that consisted of mostly broken chips and black beans(appeared they opened a can of beans, drained them, threw in some onion and corn kernels?) with absolutely no sauce we decided to eat elsewhere. Nice location on water. Have to order at counter however was able to get drink refill brought to table.
