Was very helpful in my time of grief due to the passing of my 13 year old furbaby.They and the local vet introduced me to an older dog that has all of my baby's mannerisms and able to fill an emptiness like I've never felt.The baby needed me as much as I needed her.Kudos to all the caring staff there.I will be eternally greatful to them for saving Baby from a kill shelter.

Would not show dogs available. There at 2:30pm on a Sat. Small dogs being sent to another shelter. I really don't think it was a one star. Not cool. Only hounds or Pitties...

We got our pup 2 years ago, and couldn't be happier. When she first came to the shelter, she was malnurished, recently a mother of a litter of 5 (all of which were adopted leaving her behind), covered in fleas and paracites, and was heartworm positive. After spending a few hours with this dog, we knew she had to be ours. Due to her health issues, she was not able to come home with us until 3 months later. During this time, the shelter treated our puppy like a princess (something we contrinue to do). The love and care from Franklin County Humane Society's staff is unparalled. They love what they do, and we are forever greatful for the care they gave our girl.

Me and my mom went to go get me a dog for my birthday and the lady said "they are all going to people in Tallahassee but we could still look " I asked about this pretty dog named violet but they said she was adopted. When we got back to the house they posted about dogs up for adoption and then I had to get a Guinea pig witch I don't like 😭

This was a horrible experience on a already stressful situation! I have had my yoda for 6yrs and got put into a situation to where I could not keep her. I tried ever path to go down and ended with nothing. I had no other choice but to take her to this place and hopefullyshe would have the chance to go to someone who loved her as I have. I got met with a rude coldness someone in this situation should never have to deal with! For 25-50 dollars they took her and told me if the humane society needed the space then she had to do what she had to do. 😟 they need someone who can sympathize with situations

I absolutely love them there they are so compassionate and caring the animals are always taking care of if there's ever any concern they always take care of it. I drive an hour and a half just to adopt animals from them.
