This is the only gas station in the area and I ran out of gas coming through the valley. I managed to make it there as they were locking their doors. I asked if I could get gas as it was 6:02 when I made it to their door and was told “we’re closed”. They would not let me get gas and watched my car stall and watched me wait for a tow truck. This is not the kind, friendly, helpful melhorns it used to be. Had to spend $100 on a tow truck because they wouldn’t help out a paying long time customer buy gas as they were closing up at 6:00. I will never be back.

Old fashioned gas station. They have pallets of trash spread throughout the parking lot. They do this to keep semis out. Makes it un accessible with a boat trailer. Or any trailer.

Staff are very friendly and make buying feed easy. Prices are good for this area if only they could get wrangler sweet feed always seem to be out.

The owners are awesome people. They are very competitive with their prices. One of the only places in the town and surrounding areas that have Ethanol-free gas, also having both off Road and on road Diesel.

This a great place for more than gas, fuel and a convenience store. They also have GREAT feed prices and some farm needs, including seeds and plants. If they don’t have it, speak to Frank or Sabrina and they will try to get it for you.

If you call them to ask if they have fishing bait, the lady is not very friendly. Sounds like she doesn't want to answer the phone. Perhaps she should have stayed home instead or better yet went fishing !

Mehlhorn's is a friendly, country gas station and convenience store. They are a good source for both ethanol-free gas and live bait (crickets).
