This is your typical Loves fuel and snack stop. I was here February 2024 while traveling I-10. Fueled the car at a fair price and grabbed some snacks and drinks from inside. Counter clerk was friendly and efficient. She kept the line moving. Note that if you want beer or cigarettes, you need ID. No sale without it. The guy ahead of me wanted cigs but didn't have ID. She said no ID, no sale and moved to the next customer, me. No fuss. I am glad for that, ain't nobody got time for customer shenanigans.

Stopped in this morning. First time ever at a Love's. First the cashiers didn't know the price of the breakfast items in the cases by the soda machines. How do your employees not know the prices. Second they were just plain rude. Bad customer service. I saw the casino machines. Decided to drop 20 bucks. Doubled it only to find out there is no cash outs. Only spend the money back. So not only are you taking the customers money, you're rude about it as well. I play those casino machines all over in different gas stations and it's always cashed out. The cashiers when they see a new face, especially after the new face stated I was going to play the machines, perhaps they should inform of the no cash out policy. They did however point out the sign after the fact. That sign is too high. Why would I look way up there. Put it down closer to the machines. It is still wrong to take people's money. That's theft. Then to not want to give gas in the cash out. That's just plain crazy to me. Fix your customer service skills and update your casino cash out policy. Horrible horrible experience.

The absolute slowest McDonald's. I've ever been to in my 10 years of driving around. My whole break was gone before they even took my forearm. If you can avoid this particular logs you can get fuel anywhere else. I recommend doing so and be faster to run out of She will on the side of the road and wait for them to come, fill you up.And it would be a try to get fuel and go to the McDonald's. Thank God for being you saying anything about it. Then you're the a****** That was complaining cause. I literally took 45 minutes to get a hash brown. And associated public.I've never got my coffee.I think because there was only 2 working in front and 2 were in fact.And it's obvious that you aren't gonna figure out how to work up a coffee.Worst loves ever avoided at all cost

The store is nice and clean very polite employees but as far as the shop, it’s horrible. Had one truck in the shop and I asked how long till they get me he said it won’t be till tomorrow. We have a road call and that comes first very lazy mechanics or tire tech whatever they’re called.

The trucker parking is crazy at sun down, and it took us 3 different times at 3 different pumps to get diesel fuel. The guy worker in loves did him up but everything it wouldn't work he we was here from 7:59 till 9:30 trying to get to work we keep telling the guy that it's on his end how he put it in it took him calling 2 different people to get help one being text support and they told him what we keept saying they put it in for different type of diesel so the guy had to pump .10 cent of that one for it to clear the pump and then he had to put in right diesel Finley it worked but handle keep falling out of tank so out of the $650.00 fuel we got 150.00 and still had to fuel up again the next morning . wow, hope when the next person comes alone that that happens to all workers will know what to do, but clearly, what diesel ⛽️ at least we got breakfast next morning had to wait to cook not long but on sandwiches make sure if u don't want mayo on it tell them up front. Price iway to high, not too bad, though.

Solid Love’s on the interior, bathroom wasn’t quite as clean as I’m used to. The dog park area is not fenced in at this Love’s. Also, be mindful of where you walk your dog as there are sand spurs around.

We are 55 years old and 61 years old. We took a bottle of diet coke to the counter and he asked for each of our cigarettes. I don't typically take my purse in, he always has his wallet. The cashier asked for ID so he handed it to her. She snapped I need both IDs. I asked why, he's paying and you have his ID. Remember our ages... not even on my very best day would I be considered even "possibly" under aged. She was rude and confrontational. And refused to even sell him his brand. She snidely told us to go get them at the diesel counter. I plopped my bottle of diet coke down hard on the counter and we left. I contacted the store's General Manager and she said it's the law that if the cashier is concerned it could be a fraudulent sale... Really? I'm 55 years old. What if I weren't standing there next to him? Would she not sell him two different brands? Demand he go home and bring someone back to the store with him to show ID? What if they're elderly or homebound or sick? Take your butt down there I guess, spread the germs? Ridiculous. Apparently the cashier's attitude is reflected by the manager's own attitude. She knew I wasn't underage and made it very clear that she just wanted to push someone around to make herself feel empowered and superior. This is NOT proper customer service. I'm too old to have to coddle someone's lacking self esteem or self importance. Instead of working in a field where you are supposed to serve the customers and build wealth for a business through sales, she should apply for a position as a guard in a women's prison. She would certainly be more suited there.

Rudest person I have run into in a long time.Manager Tamekia McKinnie spoke to me like a drill instructor. Giving directions to me like I was an employee and not a customer. No longer a customer as long as she still works there. Loves will be losing customers and employees as well due to this persons attitude.

So I just left the truck stop here after buying a cheap road King headset to get me by until I can find my other one after having some home time there is this guy there named Bruce, he was so helpful and so informative for all of my uneducated questions lol. Real upsetting guy great personality I wish more loves had employees like him.

Terrible location. Bathrooms were disgusting. Fecal matter and trash everywhere. Pump nozzles not operating correctly. $2.50 for air with a Guage that doesn't work. Items priced incorrectly and cashier refused to honor the posted price. Was hungry for breakfast but too scared to eat hot food if that's how they run the place. Lost out on me paying for a full tank, the mispriced item, and breakfast. TA is just down the road. They got my business instead.

Payed for gas and the attendant came outside and told us to move around to a different pump. In which someone else got our gas. Went inside to calmly explain what happened to the manager and she threatened to call the police instead of refunding our money or trying to help at all. Then proceeded to escalate the situation.

Two horrible experiences here. Will never come again. Both times the general manager Tamekia W. McKinnie was rude to me and my family. I don't understand why she had a mean tone in her voice. She acted like she was superior to everyone around her. For some reason she didn't want to sell me a shower, like she was saving it for someone else. It was really weird and she didn't need to be rude about it. Cecelia Richardson was very nice and she apologized for the managers behavior. Cecelia seemed to know just how rude her boss is to all the customers and employees. Corporate should think quickly about firing the manager and letting Cecelia replace her, before this truck stop loses more customers. Cecelia even gave my daughter a lollipop 🍭 We are a local family that has never had a bad experience at a truck stop before this place. I'm still shocked at how rude someone could be to a customer. And I used to work at a gas station, so I can understand the stress of the job, but I never ever spoke to a customer in that tone, nor would I want to. I was so surprised to hear that she was a manager as well.

I’m a truck driver and loyal customer and cashier “stayna”accused my baby of stealing a toy, I was going to buy it after I was forced to put it back by employee she told Salomoni to take away from him. My baby was crying, yet she was laughing at him. How can someone be this cruel to just a 2 year old.

Just left location and Every time I stop here instead of SunStop I instantly regret it once I walk up to pay. I guess I just need to remind myself to appreciate people that work in customer service ANNNND who are friendly and helpful..bc I have not witnessed either of those 2 very important qualities. ( not even separately) in the employees I have had any type of interaction with. I told the cashier (who was too busy worrying about someone else’s schedule to acknowledge me) her twice to have a blessed night. First time I got no response. 2nd time I said it louder, to which I got a tight lipped “hm” Heck at this point I would take a F U! At least that’s some acknowledgment that I’m a paying Customer and I could easily take my business somewhere else. Maybe memory won’t fail me the next time I need to stop

Normally this location is good. But today Sunday it was just a waste. No employees working at 6:30am. And there was a line for showers. When I found employees they were at the gas side talking and laughing. Then I asked for one to go to the diesel side and was given attitude about it. Was told that there is more traffic on the gas side and that they don’t stay on the diesel side. The shower was never cleaned. It was just new towels put in. Good thing I bring stuff with me.

It is August 1st at 4am. I stopped here at around 2am planning to take a nap. I have been driving for several hours and still have about 14 hours to go and I'm a female traveling alone so I thought it would be a safe place to nap for a couple of hours. I backed into a parking space up against the fence and put my sun visor in the windshield and covered my drivers window with a towel. I had the other 3 windows lowered about 2-3 inches to have some air flow. About 20 minutes after I got there a male employee started to clean the parking lot with a leaf blower. He had watched me put the towel in my window so he knew i was in my car prior to him starting his assignment. I watched him get really close to each parked vehicle blowing dirt all over them as he would look inside the windows. He had no respect for the fact that I was sitting in my car with the windows open. He blew dirt all over my car and in my windows. I had to roll the windows up because there was so much dirt flying in my car. It was completely rude and disrespectful. Someone needs to to teach that giy some manners. Knowing that people come here to sleep you would think that the middle of the night would not be the time they choose to use a leaf blower and when they do at least assign the task to someone who will be more careful and courteous. It is 4:45am now and he is still blowing the parking lot. Going on 3 hours now.

Can someone please contact the Manager and Vice-Manager (Jenika McCall) at the Cottondale FL location and inform them about “Co-Driver Shower Procedure”. My wife and I have been Driving Semi’s for Over 10 Years and today 11/4/23, we went into The Cottondale, FL Loves location and tried to get a “Team Shower” with our shower credit and were told that because we were “Base” status on the Loves Loyalty Reward program we would need Two shower credits instead of the standard One credit to get a “Team Shower”. This left us confused and we informed the Vice-Manager of the procedure pertaining to Team showers and she very arrogantly stated to us that she’s been working for Loves for 9 Years and therefore she would know more than us how the “Team showers” procedure is supposed to go. We went as Far as to call other Loves Travel Centers in the State of Florida to speak with their Managers to find out if the Procedures for “Team Showers” had changed and like we thought they had not. Upon hearing the other store managers agree with us the Vice-Manager called over the Manager and both of them doubled down on the 2 shower credits for a team shower stance. So we asked them to load back our shower credit on our card and left the store to head back to our Truck. We then went on the Loves website and found that we know to be true about “Team Showers” was correct. Here is is what’s stated:Base (1-449 gallons per month) - 50+ fuel gallor purchase earns 1 shower credit (for both driver & co-driver), which is good for 7 days.This didn’t sit right with us, so my wife decided to go back and try to get a team shower with the “One” Credit that we had on file, and lo and behold the “Team shower” function went through and we got Two-Showers with one Credit. The Vice-Manager Jenika McCall did not even offer and apology for all the unnecessary inconvenience and embarrassment that she and the Manager put us through. We have this part of the interaction on Video, if anyone would like to see it you can go to my Wife’s TikTok (Kimonegotthis). Not only did she not apologize, she refused to give back our Shower Credit and Refused Us Service because she refused to take accountability that she and her Manager were Wrong.We’ve spent Thousands of Dollars at Loves throughout the years and even purchased over $2500 worth of Tires/Brake pads the night before 11/3/23 at the Cottondale, FL Loves mechanic Shop, btw the mechanic shop had excellent customer service.So That’s why I am asking someone at Corporate to Contact the Cottondale, FL Location to speak with both the Vice-Manager & Manager and give them a Refresher on the Team Driver Shower Procedure and Customer Service!!! They are a Disgrace for the Loves Motto “Clean Places and Friendly Faces” and I hope another Team Driver will never have to go through this ordeal for a shower.R/SDamian

It is relatively clean, but this morning while using the men's restroom, I saw an employee cleaning the restroom and dragging a towel under his foot. This looks like the exact same towels that are used in the showers for drivers to dry off with. That is disgusting!!! Hopefully they launder it and keep it separate from the towels used in the showers. I think I'll be bringing my own towel from now on, that is nasty. The vast majority of drivers are very disgusting and the restrooms are always disgusting.

I love LOVES, they always have more than is needed, never been disappointed and the staff is always welcoming in any of their stores! I recommend all of the stores in this chain. 100 percent satisfaction!!!!
