Great spot because it's right at the bridge before the island. Enough parking and right on marina complete with pelicans. Cool pirate ship vibes and nice staff. We were served quickly with a very nice young man with upbeat personality. Had a Watermelon spicy Margarita !!! Yum my God it was perfect with a fried shrimp basket! My boyfriend had a Cuban Sandwich that was great. Loved the vibe and style here.

Loved the atmosphere, service, food, and drinks. For appetizers we got the onion rings and coconut shrimp which was delicious. We got shrimp quesadilla and Mac n cheese with blackened shrimp. We also had mango daiquiri and strawberry daiquiri. Food was hot and fresh. Our server Maddie was attentive without being overbearing. She gave us great recommendations.

We have been by this place a ton of times while driving over the bridge to Anna Maria Island and today we decided to stop in for lunch. You can arrive by car, with plenty of free parking or by boat with free two hour docking. Dining is either inside or outside. We sat outside along the water and it was lovely. They have umbrellas and sale shades for cover. The frozen beverages looked fantastic and cheap! We ordered the fish tacos, the coconut shrimp entree and hush puppies. The food came quick and was very very good. The prices are good, the service is good, the atmosphere is good and the food is good. You will not be disappointed with this place.

Great place to dock. All the amenities you need. Food bathrooms/ showers nice docks and even a bait store next door. Harley is the most outstanding docksman in the game!! Really impressed me with his mannerisms and graciousness!!! He worked to get us in on our stay!! Very friendly place.

One of my favorite places for lunch in the area whenever I visit. The coconut shrimp are delicious! And I like sitting on the outside deck with a piña colada on a hot day. The view is fabulous and the staff are friendly. I don’t go for the food in general tho. It’s pretty bland. My brother loves the fish tacos, which I think are just ok.Update: Truly one of the best views around and I love sitting on the deck at sunset. But whew the food needs some improving!

We made a wrong turn and ended up at The Seafood Shack. What a great find! The restaurant is right on the water with lots of interesting things woven into their decor. Our waitress, Jenny O, was very helpful with her recommendations. The blackened salmon and fish and chips were great and also reasonably priced. The key lime pie was made in house and was excellent!

If you're staying in Anna Maria Island or any of the surrounding areas this place is a MUST visit. Whether you're going just for drinks or for lunch/dinner - this place is THE spot. Solid drink specials and frozen daiquiris on a hot beach day are always a win. For their price those mango daiquiris were solid. The Mac & Cheese here is to die for! The blackened shrimp was also delicious. I'm a huge foodie and a bigger mac & cheese fan and I can promise you the mac & cheese here is easily in my top 5. That itself is a bold statement. Not a place you would expect some killer mac & cheese but holy cow was it delicious. Unbelievable!Great views (waterfront), delicious food, good drinks, and not expensive at all. Local gem and hidden spot.

Recommended by the crew of a sunset sailing trip as having fresh fish, caught and cooked on the same day, and a great vibe. Plus great value. We visited between a kayak trip and beach time on the Anna Marie Island.Restaurant is full of fun cool marine memoribillia. But sit outside by the boats for the full experience. And order seafood! Our server Brenda was really attentive and friendly.Parking: Park by shack or overvthe road not by the boats...

Our first visit to the Seafood Shack and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Great flavors-food quality, great service from Lacey and a very cool “fishing village” atmosphere with views of the bay.We had the garlic-Parmesan wings as an appetizer and shared a bowl of clam chowder, as entrees we tried the Grouper taco’s (3 for $15) and Jerk Rib special with fries and pineapple slaw for $16. The prices for this delicious food are amazing compared to many restaurants on either side of the Cortez bridge or the barrier islands. Ask for Lacey to be your server, a brand new Mom who has worked there 4 years. Her personality, attention and service made our experience even better.

Great ambiance, but the seafood (particularly the local fish and shrimp) were overcooked and dry. I had the fisherman's platter because I love good seafood and, having lived on the Gulf and East Georgia coast, know good seafood. It was seasoned well, but cooked too long, to the point of being dry. The nachos appetizer was good. The service overall was very slow though. I ran out of tea twice (so did my mother, who was with us) and had to get up and request my check at the end of the meal because I want sure when the waitress was planning on returning. This place could be excellent if they retrained the cooks and stepped up the staffing and service. The atmosphere and location being on the marina is great, but the lack-luster service and cooking took away from what should have been an amazing coastal dining experience. It's a shame.

Our reception was awesome. Chris and Alexis was great and listened to how we wanted the decorations and was spotted on. The decorations was beautiful and beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, especially the red snapper and crab cakes. The view was beautiful 😍

I wanted a sunset view for dinner, so my wife and I decided to visit this waterfront restaurant. What a great view! Our waiter, Jordan, was busy yet still attentive. The coconut shrimp appetizer was tasty. Drinks are super cheap. I ordered a red wine, which came to $6, and it wasn't a happy hour special (9oz btw). Draft beer was $5 for a stella. We ordered a grouper sandwich and a crab cake sandwich and they were very good. The market price for grouper sandwich is usually around $28, and here it was just $18. It was a very casual and cool vibe. Definitely recommend, especially at sunset!

Server had no interest in helping with menu questions. The one she did answer was wrong. Onion rings were greasy and cold. They had been laying around a while. I Had the seafood platter. The shrimp were good. The crabcake was hard and burned. The fish was greasy and flavorless. My wife had the stuffed cod. It was good but very small. The view and atmosphere were great

Service was fine, atmosphere was great - terrific venue but....food was barely edible. Chicken was definitely microwaved. Ribs were extremely dry. We've been here many times but this is without a doubt the worst experience ever regarding the food. So disappointing. Not sure if it's because of season or the property being sold or if the owners have simply checked out and no longer care.

Dec/Jan, 2023We really enjoyed our stay at Seafood Shack MARINA. HARLEY, the dock master and operations manager is TOP NOTCH! GEORGE, restaurant manager, is helpful with local knowledge and a great guy.The marina is clean and safe. The bathroom and shower facilities are clean, but they need updating. We love the use of a code and not a key or fob; this makes it so much easier and user-friendly. Suggestion: install and washer/dryer for boatersThe marina is close to Anna Maria Island shops, restaurants, beaches, and bike trailsThanks for a great long-term stay!

Be prepared to wait. Atmosphere is pleasant as you are right on the waterWait staff appears to be short handed as many tables remained empty while you continue to wait.Food served in reasonable time frame and hot.Wait staff good, front desk could be a bit friendlier ,
