I absolutely ❤️ Home Goods!! I have shopped there for years. Staff is always friendly/helpful…UNTIL today. Was checking out and an item had no tag. The nice cashier helping me asked the lady next to her for assistance. I am not sure her position with the co. however she was extremely rude and snippy to me when I asked a simple question reg. what I was going to be charged. She retorted with attitude”I told you what we were charging you” I said I was just asking. She then proceeded to tell me she had a lot going on🤷‍♀️ Apparently friendly customer service was not on her to do list. I asked my cashier what the girls name was and she butted in and snapped “Alexis” Everyone has bad days. My husband is disabled so I understand bad days, however I continue to treat people with respect and kindness.

I am reviewing because of witnessing the regional director of homegoods bully the staffyesterday, a Saturday . I had a large check out and had time to take it all in….I was at check out, and during that time, clearly heard and witness theis large middle age man berate the actions of the staff, infront of other staff and customers and who were also at the check outThe bully director approached the counter w a large rug in his hand with a customer, and female staff number 1 was ringing up he made loud remarks in how this customer was nice and was going to go home w her, then berated the cashier for not doing X and kept at itAs she tried to explain herself he kept at it- he was standing right next to meHe then berated a male staff ( number 2) who was at the checkout region w a dolly trolly to help a customer and loudly proclaimed what was he think he was doing, rather he wanted him dojng something else, where as the male staff also tried to explain customer support , Bully director proceded to get louder then moved behind the counter exasperated and again began pecking at others.I made an inqury to my cashier if what was the role of that man- as i noticed he appeared to have not said one nice thing or appropriate words to any staff or customer and she confirmed he was the regional director and my observations were accurate with more information that he is known for. At the end of the transacion the cashier, who was super sweet, tried to suggest credit card process he was right on her tail i told her she had been cery helpful and he walked awayI wanted to approach him as i was leaving and share my observations of what appeared to be significantly negative interactions w employees and customers- alas, he was talking w another employee .I sincerely hope this message is taken seriously by HG and not business / leadership practicesIts antiquated and inappropriate on many levels.

Basically this place is just an AT HOME with more stuff. They have a huge selection of candles and gourmet foods and kitchen wares as well. Like most home stores, they have a wide variety of knick knacks and decor for every room in the house and it is all themed which is cool. It does get crowded on the weekends so if you can go during the week that would be a better option...although they do a nice job of moving the crowd through the checkout lines

Cluttered and rude employees not to mention the clientele lounging on the merchandise to be sold. I have expressed this issue to the managers several times. They do not seem to care and end up selling furniture at more than half off, damaged !

The older woman with short hair named Zia who was assisting me at the register was incredibly snobby and had a terrible attitude with me. She seemed to be bothered and inconvenienced by me asking a few questions, which I find strange considering the fact that customer service is part of working a register at a retail store…

Found my dogs' new favorite treat. Jack & Pup Bully Bites! The same "great" ingredients (if you know what I mean) as the regular bully sticks, but already in perfect bite-sized pieces for my little 8 poundPomChi-ish mutt. Plus, doesn't cost a fortune every time the puppy drops his chew and my big American Bulldog finishes it off. Of course for about 40% less than other retailers.

What you see is what they have. I bought a nice floor lamp - no wrapping around the shade - but it is nice! We expected to pay more than $79. Look carefully at items of interest for flaws though returns are 30 days. This was just what we needed.

The store has a bunch of awesome items and I love shopping here, they just need to get some women who aren’t over retirement age running the cash registers. You are always in line for at least 10 minutes.

Super commercialized but that's what you get with chain stores. I found that the quality of stuff tends to be really cheap and doesnt last that long. I will definitely be trying to shop local and for better quality next time. Their frames department is amazing and and really reasonably priced on 50% off Sale days.
