Ariel did a fantastic job with my cavalier, Boogie. I am always nervous about getting Boogie groomed because I do not want her coat cut at all, but Ariel listened to my worries and Boogie loved her too. I will definitely be returning for Ariel, she is the perfect picture of customer service.

Go elsewhere!! Do not use Petco Apopka for grooming services or purchase anything. I had been bringing my dog since I got him early 2020 for grooming services every 5 weeks. The rewards program was nice in the beginning, but as time went on, it was more of a hassle instead of a benefit, service got worse, prices were increased considerably and additional MATERIAL FEES were added. When I would pick up my little guy, he smelled so good, as time went on he didn’t even smell like he had been bathed. They charge you additional fees for materials, but the products have no smell at all. Then you had to fight to get them to give you your reward credit. Then the store itself started charging you for a bag when you purchased items, I was told that is store policy!! The manager says nothing he can do.I will not give my money to such a company!!!

I have always bought everything I needed for my pets at Petco. I love the pals reward program. I have a small chihuahua so I never used their grooming services but my husband and I recently bought a standard poodle. We thought it would be a great ideas to do the grooming there as well even though we had heard mixed reviews from friends. I took our 4 month old poodle to get what they call a puppy bath and groom which cost $30. I was very disappointed with the service we got. Destiny which is supposed to be the poodle expert was our groomer. When we went to pick up our dog we thought there was a mistake because she looked the same. When I got home i noticed that her hers had been cleaned, her fanny area cleaned and that was it. There was something stiff on her face and ears. She didn't smell nice and was not fluffy and soft, like when we bath her. My husband also noticed that she had crust around her eyes. I called the next day to see if they could fix her and was willing to pay the regular adult price as long as they groomed her correctly. Destiny first said yes then put me on hold and then said they were full and would not be able to see her until next week. Now I understand some of the concerns my friends had mentioned. I will never use Petco's grooming services again. Such a shame it's a great program but I would rather pay twice as much for a good and professional service.

First time using their grooming service. We have a short hair small dog. A he needed was a bath, and his nails clipped. When I tell you, he smelt worse when I picked him up, I was shocked. The store itself smells bad, so when we went outside , and I actually smelt him, we walked back in. I told him he smells bad, they said they bathe him 3 times, yeah, right. And his nails were sharp AF. They said, the clip it sharp, unless you pay an additional $12 for buffing. 😒 Never again will I come here, a waste of time , and money.

By far the best Petco I've visited in central Florida over my 20 years visiting as a pet parent. My Husky really enjoyed his appointment and came out feeling excited and rejuvenated. They treat us like genuine family rather than simple clients. My neighbors recently adopted puppies and I will absolutely be referring them to this petco.

Adeline always does an excellent job! She gets my dog a special appointment because he can’t be in a cage for long. Prices are reasonable. I love how she cuts my dog’s fur, he always looks amazing:)

The groomer was nice however when I picked up my dog she proceeded to say how aggressive she was when trying to cut her nails. She said I wouldn't be able to bring my dog to Petco for grooming in the future. I've taken my dog to three other Petco Grooming locations and they didn't have problems with caring for me dog.I don't think the groomer understood how to handle new dogs that aren't used to her. She also proceeded to imply that because my dog isn't petite and more muscular that she is dangerous.
