West Marine is a great company. They carry just about everything you could need as a boater. However it's pays to shop around because they have stores and extra expenses some prices can be a little higher than on line only.

One of the smaller West Marine stores, but super convenient for me since I live nearby. Their ship to store service is great, as is their fishing section. They even sell frozen bait, which is great. West Marine is always running a sale, so if you have your eye on something, chances are it will go on sale in the near future. Join the rewards program. I bought a Simrad display and received over $500 in West Marine gift certificates.

This is a nice store, they pack a lot into a small store; however it doesn’t have as much as the other stores in then area, and the floor plan is a little weird, but the staff is very helpful and happy to help. Yea he store itself was very clean and the staff was very polite and always ready to help. It is the closest location to my boat, so I’ll be in here pretty often.

Went in the store today needing a new solenoid switch. I really didn’t expect them to have the one I needed. Jeff immediately found the correct one, and I was back on my way in less than 3 minutes!

Thank goodness we have a West Marine that is convenient! This location is amazing, lots of must have items, great selection of attire/shoes as well. Every woman who shops with her husband has plenty of choices here!

This must be the most overpriced retail chain in America. I needed two fuel tank sending units. They were $47 bucks each at West Marine. I jump on Amazon and find the exact same sending units (same brand and size) for literally half the price, with free two day shipping. I have since bought several other items from Amazon instead of West Marine. On average, I find Amazon 40-50% cheaper.

PUBLIX IS REDICULOUSLY OVER-PRICED!!! I don't understand why people WASTE SOOOO MUCH MONEY ON THIS STORE when ALDIS does such an INCREDIBLE JOB WITH MUCH LESS CHAOS !!! IM all about having choices but the enormity of it, at Publix is ridiculous...HOW MUCH STUFF do you really need??? Did you EVER CONSIDER the phrase "LESS IS MORE" ???? Came to get a replacement T800 cartridge for my aeroator. Cartridge alone wasn't available but a 500 pump was. Guy at the counter guaranteed me it wouldn't work. And didn't want me to test the fit, would just need to open the box, not even get the pump dirty. Quick measure. I had my cartridge in hand. Since it's an aeroator there wouldn't be a problem putting in a 500 cartridge in a 800 base. Needless to say, found out 30$ cheaper on Amazon. Works great and got less flow as I needed.

West Marine's seem to be wherever there is water. They also have a reputation for being expensive. However, I like the Apollo beach West Marine a lot. The staff are friendly, helpful and work with you to solve problems. There's plenty of advise on offer and say what you like about the prices it's super convenient and the quality of items is very good. Sure you can hit Amazon and get same day delivery, but that doesn't come with helpful advise and the ability to go back as ask even more dumb questions. The occasional rewards coupon goes along way as well.

This is not the largest or smallest West Marine I've ever been to but the associates are generally friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to get what you need if they don't have it in stock. That said, they have a reasonable selection of boating equipment, parts, and accessories.

Good shop that is a bit small but gave 5 stars because the employees are the best. They are always willing to help you find what you're looking for and give good pointers on things you may not be completely familiar with.

Always Amazing!!!...They had what I needed(new cast spoon) and plenty of other things to spend my money and get yelled at by my wife!!!...The staff is great they know alot and are super helpful...

You're much better than East Marine the prices are slightly above-average but they have a good selection and foreboding needs they have it just about everything you could want or need clothing selections pretty good kayak stuff all kinds of fishing stuff

They were very nice and took care of problem with the 2000 Rule bilge pump. However Rule is not nearly as good as they use to be. 4 pumps returned since Feb. 2018.

Knowable and helpful staff. The store is stocked well (as compared to other stores right now with Covid 19.) As with most marine stores they are not cheap.

The have a majority of what someone may be looking for when it comes to boats. The prices are on the high side but it's quick and convenient on the way to the dock. People are nice and helpful as well as knowledgeable.
