I have taken my dog there three times, the first time I was nervous for him. The owner was not friendly or helpful in calming my nerves or my dogs, and afterward told me I needed to teach my 4 month old puppy "independence." Which is ridiculous, because he is very independent at home and loves his alone time/crate. The following time I took him they cut his hair down very short on his nose and gave him a razor burn. They apologized for this. But this third time they did it AGAIN! No apologies. Also, when I brought him in, he was so fearful and coward at the door, I wanted to gently coaks him in with treats, they wanted to just yank on his leash and pull him in. On the phone, they weren't very polite either when I asked on his progress. It's not a friendly establishment and I think they don't know how to earn an animals trust they think they can just drag them around. I'm very upset with the haircut this time too. His ears came out extremely uneven and he has razor burn on his nose again! I shouldn't have left him with them, and won't be taking my dog there again.

Have been taking our dog here for almost 6 years. Was always a little put off by the smell and some of the employee's not so friendly attitudes, but they usually warmed up a bit if I was extra friendly during our interactions. The grooming service has always been acceptable. Today I mistakenly missed our appointment and called an hour and a half later to apologize and see if I could make another. I was told that no I could not make another appointment, and that I should "move on to another salon". Should have trusted our dog about these people, he loves everyone including the vet but he would start to shake with fear as soon as we pulled into this parking lot.

Brian did a nice job on my Malti-Poo the first time I took him in.I had recently moved back to the area and I took him to Petsmart, and I wasn't really happy with his cut there.After a neighbor referred me to Muddy Paws, I scheduled an appointment there......I was very happy with the grooming, also that they only needed my dog a couple of hours...as opposed to other groomers needing more.Take your dog here...I think you'll be happy too.

Adopted an 8 year old pug and took him to groomer he had been going to, was not comfortable with them at all. Went to Muddy Paws based on referral of huge dog lover and good friend. Great service, very friendly and professional! They loved my Doug the Pug, he pranced out smelling so good , nails clipped nicely and coat soft and de-shedded. Doug has a new groomer! Thanks Muddy Paws!!!!

I have been taking my pups to Muddy Paws for the past 7 years and continue to be impressed and satisfied with the grooming as well as my interactions with staff there, *especially Brian* who takes good care of my babies and consistently gives them their spiffy cuts and blueberry facials. When I leave messages, they are responded to promptly. I have nothing but good things to say about Muddy Paws, April, and Brian. Keep up the great work!

I was happy with this place the first few times I took my shih tsu puppy. The male groomer was friendly, gave good advice and appeared to like my little dog. The last time I went in March my dog wasn’t ready after two hours when I went to pick her up. That was not the major concern. The woman who groomed her said she was still wet and I couldn’t take her home. I said I was sorry I was in a time crunch and would just take her home wet. She shared, in a surly tone, that she couldn’t cut her because she “misbehaved” and wouldn’t let her blow dry her around her face. I have had dogs for 15 years and have never had a groomer speak to me in this way. She appeared to not like my dog. It is her job as a groomer to work with dogs who doesn’t like a blow dryer in their face. I am sure there are many dogs who don’t like the blow dryer. When I called the next day to share my concern with this groomer with the owner, I didn’t get any satisfaction. I will be looking for a new groomer.

I brought my friend's dog in for a much needed grooming appointment. Bath,nails ect. The appointment was originally scheduled for 1:30 w April. I got stuck on the Turnpike when it was closed from an accident and was hour late. April was so understanding, patient and kind. She waited and did the session, and did an amazing job! Love April and the other ladies at Muddy Paws, will definitely be back!! :)

I take my dog here for a much needed trim and not only did I not get that but the service was terrible. I ask for a simple trim and the groomer named Susan barely even shaved him, his tail is butchered and paws weren't even touch, she also would not touch his face due to a tiny bite he gave another groomer before hand. They did not tell me this till after the groom and they make you pay before even seeing your dog. When we went back to complain my mother wanted to ask the groomer who did him before if he could fix it but before she could have said anything he brought up the bite.......That is part of your job!! I've worked with dogs and got bit multiple times and never complained to my customers and my dog didn't even break this guys skin, so maybe this isn't his line of work... All in all will not be returning and I will never recommend this place to anyone..

I have been going to Muddy Paws for 4 years and have always been satisfied with the service and results I recieved. I have two dogs: a Westie and a Jack Russel mix. Westies require very specific cuts, and I've never been disappointed. The Jack-mix is one tough cookie; she is neither easy to handle nor at all cooperative, yet the folks at Muddy Paws have found a way to manage her!! Muddy Paw's prices are reasonable and the staff, especially April, is always pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend Muddy Paws for your grooming needs.

Amy Schilling - Friday February 3, 2017I will never take my furbaby to Muddy Paws, again!Susan did a very poor job on our dog. She said he didn't like his face touched. Did she even try? Because it sure looked liked the shampoo didn't make it to his face. It was still dirty. When I went back to complain, the owner, April is clueless. Susan is like what's wrong with it ( the cut)? Its a bad cut. I tried to compliment the male groomer there that did him before, but only got As far as saying I believe you took care of him last time, when he cut me off and said, Yeah and I got bit. Hello! You're a groomer, its a job hazard! We proved he got his shots! You were fine! Grow up and put your big boy panties on! Maybe you all need to find a different profession because you all are a bunch of miserable people. The man that left before us had to bring his dog back before he left his par k ing spot because the dig's butt was covered in poop. We hadn't pulled out of our spot yet. That's when I took a look at our dog. I did pull away but turned around because we paid $55 plus a $10 tip and they make sure you pay before you see your dog. Convenient for them. Not so for us. We are screwed out of $65!

I am very disappointed with Muddy Paws. I highly recommended them and now, only to find out the one blond, heavy set woman and the woman named Susan are EXTREMELY rude. They never crack a smile. They act like they hate being there.. That's a profession where you have to love dogs.. they both look miserable.. No personality..don't these people know dog owners treat these animals like their own babies.. I will never go back there again. I even hate giving one star..only because I have to!

KIND and PATIENT. My dog has been going here for years and admittedly he is a difficult dog to groom. Not because of his hair but because he's a very anxious dog. He still gets nervous when he goes but they make the process as easy as possible for him. Wouldn't take him anywhere else. Here's a picture of him a few weeks after his hair grew out a bit. We like to give him a "puppy cut".

They came in, in a pinch, saving my poor doggie who was covered in fresh asphalt which for some reason was dumped in a dog park.The whole staff was amazing and my poor pooch was taken care of and in far better shape then I could imagine.Great people and great place.
