Cute little grocery store that does a great job maximizing the small space that they have. The problem for me were the ridiculously high prices. $8.99 for coffee mate creamer! I walked right out and went somewhere else. Disappointed.

It’s a shame that the quality has declined but the price has risen. I paid $19.00 for a bottle of fresh squeezed OJ that has to be half water OR no quality control. I feel so ripped off after paying for quality bit getting a bad batch. Janssens needs to check the quality before charging top dollar. I only bought because I am sick and I wanted to “treat” myself with the OJ I remembered from years ago.

Disappointed that the sushi is no longer available. It was consistently tasty and affordable.Update: Returned to Janssen's and tried the sushi, which is once again being made in house. It was up to the previous standard, fresh, and very reasonably priced. (Thanks, Janssen's!)

It’s a great market. Incredible from scratch soup every day! But be mindful of when you shop here. Pay for what brings you in, and do not fall for the crazy prices for things on the shelf.

This boutique grocer is the only place in the state for hard to find imported cured meats and aged cheeses. I found poultry, produce and dairy reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.

Rude, slow, clean up andremove self service food options during opening hours and get every sandwich order wrong….Jansenss was once a nice place and has now lost the plot. Lots of people standing around doing nothing and annoyed if you ask for assistance.

This store was once one of the best but sadly Joe Biden's economy destroyed it and we still have to watch them put a Biden sandwich out daily to stick it to the customer...

After a hiatus of about a year, I returned twice in the last 4 months. I found the items to be exceptionally high priced- for example name brand Italian cookies were twice what I’ve seen at other markets. The produce is much higher than a place like Sprouts with their organic produce and consistently sourced suppliers. The cheeses and meats are specialty which is a nice offering. I picked up the breaded catfish which was dry, as was the 2 by 3 inch square of crumb cake priced at $6.75. I gave it two stars for the specialty cheeses and otherwise meats (although I don’t eat meat), and the nice staff behind the counters. Otherwise I find a significant mismatch between the prices and the quality of these items.

I know I have said this before but it bears repeating after today's "southern special"... chicken salad with fried oysters. The chicken salad was delicious but the fried oysters...beyond delicious! Hands down Janseen's fried oysters are the best I have ever tasted...and I have done a great deal of fried oyster "taste testing" up and down the state🤣Thank you J's Cafe for a great way to kick off the week🙂

Outside of the meat guys and a few employees, the employees always seem like they couldn't care less if I shopped there or not and acted as if they were doing me a favor by allowing me to shop and pay for their over priced groceries. Also, I always found it odd that the milk and cream often were within a few days of expiring. Made me wonder if those products were purchased at a discount by the store to increase profits. I am glad that I can now be welcomed by a friendly staff at Wegmans and spend my hard earned dollars there.

Very fancy! Has a little cafe inside which I wasn't expecting. Looks like they have a little bit of everything. The produce all looked fantastic! Skipped a couple things on my list though because the prices were especially high on them here and I knew I could find them for at least a little less elsewhere.

I once loved this place I just left 4:25pm 8-19-22 pull the tape. I stood in front of the area1 to order food. Waited while 2 employees just stood there in front of what I call buffet area. A person came up and they walked over to take there order I said i was waiting to order and was told they can take your order over there. The area behind me? I took this as very strange. I walk over to the other line and the person they took the order from had left and so did they. I promise I would die before going to this place again. Which is real sad as my family and I enjoyed eating here weekly. Luckily we were treated well at our new spot next to them and got a pizza.

Staff is polite and the store is well stocked but this place makes Whole Foods look affordable. I made the mistake of buying a bag of cherries without looking at the price; it turned out to be $20! That’s 50 cents a cherry!

Once again just shopped Jansens and went to the customer service to check out.. No hello , no thank you. such a rude girl the face of jansens . You will lose customers to wegmans for sure . Train your staff better !Make them leave their cell phones in the break room!The management team at Janssen's should hire spotters to see how clients, like myself are treated. They usually hire young adults, who do not exchange pleasantries nor do they say, "Thank you" when they pass you your receipt. I go to whole foods and the staff is trained so much better. They say hello, how are you? Did you find what you needed today. Make small talk. Say, "Thank you"

Way overpriced! Nobody in the line at the deli with three workers behind the counter, They can't hand you the sandwich. Waited 23 minutes for it to get to the front after I pre paid for it. I got a refund. In the past they tried to charge me $7 for the disposable plastic container a salad came in. Check your receipts.

STEAL FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS REGULARLY- do your self a huge favor and take the time to write down the prices they have listed for the items you are buying when shopping here. Then check the receipt before you leave so you can get your refund for all the money they stole from you. They’ve been doing this for YEARS. EVERY SINGLE TIME I shop here they charge the wrong price on at LEAST one item- usually it’s on SEVERAL each time and it’s always in THEIR favor. THEY ARE THIEVES - and have the nerve to rip you off on already highly overpriced merchandise to begin with. PAY ATTENTION - you will see for yourself- I can guarantee it will or already has been consistently happening to you if you’ve ever shopped here. It might only be 50 cents or a few dollars here and there but add it up- they are STEALING thousands of dollars from EACH of their customers a year by having intentionally deceptive pricing. Literal THIEVES. CALL THEM OUT

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Most every food I have ever bought from Jansens is delicious. The customer service is fantastic. The holiday foods I have ordered in advance are always well prepared, organized for easy pick up and contain precise directions on how to heat, prepare, and serve the food.It truly deserves the honor of being chosen "the best grocery store in America".

I am a regular shopper at Jansens love the convenience . Mostly for the quality butcher and. cheeses including special items they carry. I don’t mind paying if I’m getting quality.However the deli and prepared foods lack the same quality . Considering the absorbent prices!I like to order lunch from the deli when I’m shopping and on several occasions it was definitely below par.When ordering a freshly made sandwich the bread was hard as a ROCK. Special ordered sandwich with avocado paid $1.50 extra for the paper thin barely there slices.... I have given them several chances sometimes things happen. Same problems over and over.I could buy a whole avocado for $3.00 in the vegetable department .They need to train their staff better, the prepared food employees often look past you and continue what ever they are doing while you wait and wait they lack consistently in both these departments .The whole thing aboutJansens is service andQuality both are lacking . Especially when paying way overpriced numbers for grocery items.

I like Janssen's they always have fresh food & fresh platters. You can get just about anything. The staff is always friendly & helpful! Reason for 4 stars is bcz everything is overpriced. I dont shop here for myself. I shop for my clients who live in the area.
